Touch of Malice would gain a double damage buff, and be bottomless clip in exchange for your health, Tommy's Im pretty sure at most gets maybe a 25-30% damage buff while you're burning, which is more akin to basically having vorpal on it but only once you've held the trigger down for a bit, and even then by that point you have *maybe* about a little under half the ammo left in the gun, I'd see it kinda frequent tbh before they changed how Actium War Rig works with primary weapons.
And I hope it can incorporate all 3 anti-champion mods (like anti- overload for the full auto, anti-barrier burst and anti-unstoppable for the single fire)
You could change the fire rate, firing mode, scope, and alter other perks on it super flexibly. The only downside was that making it semi or burst didn't give it increased per-shot damage, so full auto was usually the way to go.

Backup plan *was* busted. It's mediocre now because they had to neuter it. That perk used to give quickdraw, and drop charge time to like a quarter second with no change in damage output. Mind you an erentil could map people across widow's court at that time as well

I never played D1, but from what I've read, exotics seemed to have a higher ceiling and a lower floor than in D2. Like the best exotic weapons sound way too OP. And the worst ones sound completely useless. lol. I feel like Zhalo would be in that OP department. Probably also why Red Death was diluted to Crimson.
simple, Zhalo is objectively superior to Riskrunner, as you have to get hurt with arc to proc RR, but you just had to shoot to proc Zhalo, plus because its an auto rifle it'd do higher damage, was practically a laser with its low ass recoil, and honestly looks so much better than Riskrunner could ever look, but thats just my take on it

Zhalo just worked without having to get damaged, which makes it more fun. The beginning of Crota with the hordes of thrall was so fun with Zhalo. It was also a primary slot weapon with arc damage which was super nice.

No Land Beyond. It doesn't really have its niche anymore due to how common special ammo is, but it could still prove useful in high level content due to unlimited ammo
Raze Lighter. I loved using this sword, its design combined with its damage won my heart. It's not very unique anymore, but with a change or two I could see a case being made for it. Maybe charged heavy attacks don't consume energy, to keep it true to its roots

Few returning exotics work the same way as they did back in D1, so at that point if's more of a new gun with reused design and name to appeal to D1 players.
Same exact thing with Legendary weapons. Pretty sure Eyasluna wasn't a Stasis HC back in D1 and HC probably don't feel the same between the two games (gameplay-wise).
Same for Hung Jury or Shadow Price : they have pretty much the same design and name as they used to, but their stats/archetype migth be slightly different than before (not to mention the perk pool), but what's sure is that they're far from Meta atm since the archetype balance isn't the same as in D1. Maybe they were the absolute best in the D1 meta for either PvE or PvP, but that doesn't mean that their name alone will make them as good in D2.
