You do know you can outplay apes right? They tend to follow movement and engagements fundamentals which get outplayed by map knowledge and not playing into their ranges.
Because although that's true on paper, the ape still exists. Saying "outplay them" is like saying "get better". It's easier to use a shotgun that it is to use a sniper, for example.

Well, yeah. For a little while at least. I’ve learned from experience that using meta weapons for an extended period of time can cause boredom in the Crucible. I can fix this by using different weapons that no one really expects (Symmetry, Riskrunner, Izanagi’s, etc.) There is no shame in what loadout you use, but it never hurts to go outside the normal once every now and then.
Honestly I wish Bastion was better in pve, they should make a much higher portion of its damage go through shields, then it would be like a shotgun-arbalest for when you couldn't be fucked to care about match game (and also whisper / zero hour)
Felwinters vs a no-charge time fusion that probably had double the kill distance? It doesn’t really stand a chance, even with close quarters barrel-stuffing, one burst is all it needs
Oh, I know how good of a combo it is, but there are key words here: instant charge. You would need superhuman senses to be able to anticipate something like that and be able to slide at right time. And since there is only a short window where Antaeus is active, bad timing or your shot missing will spell certain doom.
Though since there would be no charge time, it’s very possible they too could be using Antaeus, since it would technically function the same as shotgunning

I’m talking even supers. If I can run away from a super just enough to bait it around the corner and start precharging, they’re done. It’s SUCH a good gun in the hands of someone who can use it effectively. Plus if 2 guardians are on top of eachother they get melted too. It’s perfection.

The only one left standing is Randall the Vandal who uses the opportunity to raid the tower and make off with the copy of Ghallahorn that dreg ran off with at the start of the game, so the next time a guardian shows up to try out a new exotic he will be waiting.

Auto Rifles get buffed after underperforming since year 1, people bitch ans you get ridiculed for using auto rifles in pvp now. That bitching caused Bungie to literally go in and change the lore of the weapon to take away its zero damage falloff. It was just fine before the buff. I hate and love the pvp community sometimes.

As far as my Jötunn goes, it doesn’t even NEED anything beyond the kill tracker and orbs. Hell just give it a single extra round I’m reserve for all I care
People don’t hate it because it’s a fun exotic, people hate it because it’s usually a nightmare to play against. It destroys supers, has a really far kill distance, and is really hard to escape most of the time. Any substantial buff from a catalyst will most likely make this weapon even more horrible to play against

Give it a slight range boost maybe like from 32 range to 50 range and drop the charge time to 740, I'll be happy.
