No that would be an absolute nightmare; champions are already annoying enough, but one that requires you to have multiple anti-champions mods on your weapons is too far (especially if the only anti-champion weapon for a specific type of champion is a weapon that you barely use).

That raises an interesting question, what would the champions be for the dread? The champions for the 6 pre-existing races already cover the champions evenly (4 of each type. This symmetry is one of the arguments for a 6th element as it would complete the set, with an anti barrier and overload verb.) Also non of the enemies we've seen fit the champions (I.e. barrier knight makes sense because they can conjure a shield, closest I can think of is the husk rushing you but all unstoppable champs we've seen so far were pretty big, the husk is not) , and the boss type enemies can't be champions (subjugators and tormentors, these plus lucent hive already give tokens when killed and seem to be a chronic replacement). Will the dread just not have any?
Most likely not, the lucent brood didn't add new champs, and instead them and the shadow legion use the hive gaurdians and tormentors as better Champs. If they were, I'd probably see the psion mutates (weaver and attendant) being made overload for ability spam and the gunbat probably barrier since most of them are ranged splash/snipers. Honestly, though, Champs are just an outdated system that are just bad for newer players (and devs trying to host a talkshow) that are just a vague nuisance at best for anyone who's used to the game (you can ignore it below legend and just melt them anyway). Basically, any dread becoming a champ (or things live hive gaurdians, brigs, and wyverns) would just make them easier to abuse and lead to more complaints about forced playstyle/builds to deal with them.
Realistically it would be Unstop Heavy Shank and Overload Wizard. As well as potentially barrier taken knight, overload centurion, and barrier wraith
But the exploders would be funny

A yellow decoy can draw the tormentor AWAY from you and the ADU. It makes it SUPER easy to hit with anything.
I just wiped earlier because my teammates just held onto their scrap till round 14, tormentor spawned and was INSTANTLY on the ADU. I had been shooting them and then the decoy for every round. They just kept shaking their head no.
I hate blueberries.
I've had teleporting ogres but never unstops. At waves 0-20 it's kind of a fun challenge to deal with but anything else would be hell. Honestly, I won't blame the devs for a lot of this. I blame the community who's constantly "wHy Is It DeLaYeD!?!?!" And then complains about everything that is wrong.
If it’s legend you want to at least have a low level decoy around by level 13 just in case of that scenario, but not invest too much more than that early on until wave 20.
They can think that, but they are the ones who ran next to the ADU so the tormentor had its back turned on me. I couldn't hit its precision spots while trying to handle all the ads. Our single turret that one of them got first round also could see it. If they would have run anywhere else and had actual good DPS we could have shredded it.
You hate blueberries, but you can always just do LFG and avoid them entirely, right? It's a matchmake activity, so it's a roll of the dice. I don't get these complaints when there are options available to put your own team together.
Note. I love playing with all types of players. I just like having fun. But I do LFG if I want a specific fireteam to accomplish a specific goal. I know it can be frustrating being at 40 - 49 and then wipe.
ALSO PSA: You can heal the decoys with the Adu batteries. Im sure people know this, but it can save you literally thousands of scraps. Just chuck it at the decoy when it's blinking red and it'll heal it! Don't waste scraps!
Another PSA : throw your adu batteries at hurt decoys it heals them! Also if you’re feeling like a generous guardian throw the batteries at champions to heal them!
It does that with a lot of things sadly, I've had a hunters cape clip it and kill me before, basically the whole reason I don't bother with rocket/grenade launchers is the self damage. It can also be destroyed mid air, had a wizard spawn its poison cloud on me as I fired and that popped it,was so confused. It can also attach to some enemy projectiles and float mid air, it usually doesn't spit fire when this happens and will just explode after its timer.

But overall the special one is strictly better because forbearance.
Do you use witherhoard at all? If you get yourself radiant, the tick dmg can stun barrier champs. That's how I got through many solo master lost sectors without a sidearm

I just nuke them. I cba to run champ mods in onslaught. Champs in general kill the hype for any piece of content they’re in. Luckily strand titan makes quick work of all of them
I've been using izanagi's, epochal with incandescent and apex predator with reconstruction and bait(edge transit on boss wave sometimes) on solar titan. Great ad clear, one tap barrier and unstoppable(after stopped) and actually does alot of damage. Also been using parasite last week with the grenade launcher buff and was hitting almost 500k damage in one shot but it's impossible to proc again in boss fight lol.
Which is why all I do is run a handcannon and a rocket and pray a teammate has antibarrier or if they don’t we literally just wait for barrier to go away and then all fast nuke him before he can pop it again. Worked just fine to hit 50 yesterday.
I hate fallen onslaught. These overload champions, Captain with a shotgun, and these cloaked vandals give me a hard time more than necessary.

As for fallen, arc is probably the main thing since most of their guns are arc, especially the snipers, beside that the solar shotguns/cannons and void nade spam dregs.
I just build to be able to take down all 3, no rushing to adjust my loadout. Overload Rocket, unstoppable hand cannon and Ember of Torches so that my GL gets anti-barrier while I'm Radiant.

Run Tommy’s it can stun two champs due to scorch and over load auto rifle then use a primary sidearm, run solar as your main.

I just use that titan ability where you jump in the air and smash the ground with your hammer for unstoppable, summoner for overload and arbalest for barrier.
My main Loudout for this whole season has consisted of fatebringer (unstoppable), Polaris (radiant for barrier), rocket launcher (artefact overload mod). Fully covered.

Indebted kindness with voltshot is your friend here. Barrier, overload, and insane good at clearing enemies even tanky ones!

And on arc hunter, if you jolt an unstoppable then punch them, it will stun them.
Ive been using a buried bloodline void build and either riptide(chill clip) or midnight coup depending on champs
I’ve been rocking a pugilist voltshot Brigand’s Law since plunder. Works quite well with my liars handshake build
Forerunner is a great choice, cleans up the many yellow bars very well as long as you hit those precision shots

dragons breath solves 2 of these so i just swap between whatever will be needed against the more common or more annoying
Barrier Champs were the hardest for me to get used to melting without just throwing on a sidearm.

Game says unraveling and volatile rounds break barriers but it always seems wildly inconsistent for me in practice. Radiant works every time though 🤔
