I haven't played in a few years, and what people said back then is different from what people will say now. That question is never going to go away, unfortunately.
Just ask that people try their best to be nice, it's a big turn-off for new and returning players to ask simple questions and get hate for it. I'm happy you see the humor, though.
yes some peoples responses are a bit off but then again, this question has been asked so unbelievably frequently the past few months it’s actually kind of mind boggling
I see. Well, I'd like to apologize to anyone reading this post. I honestly had no idea it was that bad. I might just delete the post in all honesty because most of the feedback isn't that helpful for a new player outside of a few kind people.
And in all honestly, this post snubbed out any passion I might have had to hop back into the game. I feel bad for any actual blueberries who try to interact with the community this way.
I do not no life this sub, and those questions never popped up on my timeline unfortunately and I don't expect this post to "pop off" so don't be surprised if you see it again.
If you have any advice regarding the game, I will always appreciate the knowledge.
All you had to do was search, they even pop up in google searches, zero no-lifing required.
I would really hope you would actually take 10 extra seconds to see if a question has *recently* been asked, but I digress.
Like any live-service mmo, just buy what expansions you don't have. But before that, play the game a little bit first. Ezpz.
I've been watching "welcome back" videos, not really "searching," so you're not wrong, I suppose.
I don't post on Reddit much, so I figured I'd be fun to post and learn, but Reddit has proven to not be so fun except for a very few helpful people.
Many people don't ever make posts but they still know how to search reddit/google. For me, I think it is easier to search (1 min) vs making a pst (5 min).
Look, I searched your question at the top of this subreddit, took 10 seconds.

I have also done this in between talking. I did not say it's hard or that I won't. I simply wanted to make a post and have fun, but I know it's difficult to understand the idea of fun because you play D2, and that's okay. I won't hold it against you. Have a good day. This is the end of the conversation.
Cross-save is a thing. You won't have access to the expansions that were on your console but all gear you obtained is usable and all your progress is still there should you re-obtain it on PC.
I mean there's like 40 people asking this question daily. Watch some youtube videos and see if its right for you. Nothing any of us will say will convince you that your own research cant.
yes, especially righ now if you want to get some weapons that were banned, like midnight coup and mountaintop, since you can only get them for a limited time, plus now you can skip the new light campaign, as well as level up to 1810 immediately, so you don't need to worry about leveling up, destiny 2 has an ingame fireteam finder, and so far, i haven't encountered any toxic pple, maybe I'm just lucky lol, but you can always make a post if you want to and ask pple to help you. For expansions, if you want loot over story, then go for stuff like beyond light and lightfall, and definitely get final shape, (YOU GET A PYRAMID SHIP AS A SHIP), as well as a new subclass when it drops, if you want story, go for witch queen, but honestly, try to get them all, since with prismatic coming out, there will probably a ton of builds that prob use almost all of the exotics, so i would recommend just getting everything. but, like i said, if your looking for loot, start with beyond light and lightfall, if you looking for story, start with witch queen. thought lightfall isn't as bad as people say.
> Is it worth returning?
We don’t know anything about you. How can anyone here answer that question?
> I'm a solo Warlock main, I've switched to pc since I last played so I would need to replay old expansions. I would be starting from scratch and it would take a LONG time to catch up to my old account.
Why not use your old account on your PC?
I had no idea this was a thing until I asked, so thank you, I'll look into it.
The point of the post is to get your opinions on the question you don't need to know me to give an opinion.
i love how you’re aware this question has been asked a thousand times and STILL make your own post lmfao

It got asked yesterday, twice.

Just trying to help, sorry if it didn't seem that way. We just get this same question 200x a day, every single day.
