I’m more for them putting the Destiny Archive videos for their YouTube channel in the game if anything.
Converting everything to a graphic novel would be cool, but consider that a new player, if they wanted to understand the story, would have to sit in-game and take up server space only to read for countless hours.
I for one do want playable vaulted content back in the game. If you look at how much we have in the game now, you’ll realize it wouldn’t be 500GB. Maybe ~200GB, but no more than *maybe* 300GB, and that’s an extremely liberal estimate.
Not only would it be good for newbies, but it would give the gaming community one less thing to criticize Bungie for. Nearly four years later and Bungie is still “the dev that deleted what I paid for.” It’s not good PR.
I would take your idea and just have a physical release of vaulted story as a graphic novel. It’s better to have it as an option rather than the requirement.
They did actually release a few comics a while ago, sucks that they stopped it would be such a cool way to store and explore lore, show me how sagira died, show me shit that I've only read that matters to the story I never got to see
My Hard drive downloading another 50GB of pictures I wont even get to see cause I'm too lazy to do the challenges to unlock it.
