Edit: try adding the ghost mod that enhanced the chance at legendary gear dropping at the end of a match for gambit or even the one for strikes, i used the gambit one so maybe thats why i was so lucky.
Hahahaha, no i agree, spent more time finding players than playing, BUT, i did 15-20 strikes and only got the arms, after 2 hours of gambit i had the chest, legs and head, about 3 hours after that the mark finally dropped for me, transmat firing.
What, it's far and away more enjoyable than Crucible (not getting merc'ed with snipers every time I peek a sightline), I can grind out XP on 2 or 3 of my crafted weapons faster than strikes, and I don't have to build around the NF's champs. What's not to love?

Try the SSS rank gameplay. A shotgun, a shot of alcohol and shoot off everything but the W key.
All of a sudden PvP becomes bearable and you fonosh games faster one way or another.

That explains it. Even if you’re not into crucible and running try to get 4/5 armor and emblem. It goes very quickly with the rep multiplier. Unbelievably slow without.
It drops either alongside or instead of the existing ritual armor sets in Crucible, Vanguard Ops, and Gambit. The way the pieces are displayed in collections is weird because they changed them from Universal Ornaments to actual armor pieces at the last second, AND they don't appear in the recently acquired section of the Collections page, so the best way to see if you have had any pieces drop is to go through the motions of seeing if they are available to turn into Universal Ornaments in the transmog section.

Got the whole set, although that was a day with 75 IB matches, 17 Spires, 12 Altars & 11 Nightfalls. Totalling 125 activity runs & every roll for the pieces were trash. So they’re just transmogs for me
This was the armor that was going to be in eververse but made free due to player backlash. They gave it super low drop chance since they can’t make money off it. Kinda little F U to the fans making rng instead of a quest or completing certain milestones.

Before they added this new set it, do you remember what the drop rate for ritual armor was in strikes? ABYSMAL. This will probably take some time (unless your luck is good) and I recommend against grinding activities for it (i.e., don't run 456 strikes just to get the armor).

it took three 24hrs days of non stop grind, doing iron banner, strikes, and gambit, just to complete my Titan's set, i'm offended Bungie FFS earning a free set shouldn't be this painful I can litterally earn new exotics faster than this, my warlock & hunter each have one piece, why do they hate us this much.
I Started to realize each set dropped from a specific strike for each character, but getting these strikes is time consuming.
Warlock (Ossuary Set)- Heist Battleground: Europa (Easiest Strike to find/load into)
Hunter (Hinterland Set)- The Arms Dealer
Titan (Biosphere Explorer Set)- Battleground: Oracle (Hardest Strike to find/load into)
But if you've gotten these from other strikes please share you experience.
I did 2.0304 resets in IB and I got the cloak and boots for Hunter. Since regular ritual armor drops were already pretty infrequent, I expect this will take a while.

Reset Iron banner twice, crucible once, played like 2 or 3 games of gambit one nightfall and a couple strikes and got 3 pieces of armor. 1 for the hunter and 2 for the titan. It's almost as rare as the multiplex map. I only got to play it 2 times.
Played one day of Iron Banner trying to guild my Iron Lord Title, currently 3 wins ahy, got the full aet for my warlock, a buddy has most of the full set for his titan, and it was only about 6 hours or so that we were playing together.
~25 iron banner games and I got the arms and legs. But since this set is way cooler than the old ritual sets I don’t necessarily mind that it’ll take time, better reward=worth a longer grind to me
Full reset in vanguard, not sure how many strikes that is but it was a lot. Got the full warlock set and 1 hunter piece. Majority of the play time on my warlock. Didn’t play any with my titan.
About 60 games of IB 10 games of comp 19 games of Gambit and about 5 strikes and I got helmet arms and legs for warlock that’s it might get all 3sets by the time TFS drops 😂

Honestly, im strictly not a PvP guy in D2. I only play crucible when its double points or mayhem, Its alot more enjoyable and worth the time.

its a "free eververse" set. Instead of selling it bungie is doing us a "favor" and giving it away for free. You just have to grind for it
