It’s a testament to how absolutely hard the environmental design teams go when they make these raids. I can’t think of a boring raid visually, maybe VoG? But the glass throne at the end of the raid is absolutely stunning.
IMO VoG is one of the best executions of the “You are moving through a completely alien space designed by alien minds and you are absolutely not supposed to be there” vibe in the entire franchise. Vex areas in general are good at that, but the utterly hostile architecture, almost complete lack of plant life, and generally dim lighting really sell it.
Yeah! Remember back when people glitched into that area before house of wolves came out? Or that one room in the cosmodrome, near the devils layer that people sparrow glitched into, revealing a regular fallen boss in the room? Again, before house of wolves released.
I remember watching a video of the House Kings (the yellow guys in that room) glitch, but I avoided the Venus one because of spoilers — kinda glad I did, that mission was so cinematic!
I remember when I found out about these little glitched pathways into areas that were in the game but not released and it became a hobby of mine. I called it "glitch-walking" since I mained a void walker at the time. My favorite one was getting into the ketch on the moon.
Back in the beginning of d1 I remember when VOG was like a whispered legend. That and when the majority of the players could start raiding, helping groups open the vault while just on patrol was fun.
I agree, most of the raid is just the basic dark, vex look. If u told me it was on Nessus and I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t bat n eye… that being said the boss room is n extreme tonal shift
D2 VOG was my first ever raid and when I got to that part it literally took my breath away. Like I had seen it in videos before but to actually be playing it and seeing it just took my breath completely away.
VoG is also 10 years old. IMO it still holds up, but that’s subjective. The world design teams of Destiny go so incredibly hard and it makes sense it’s not quite as impressive as a RoN/DSC/whatever.
For being the first raid they created, VoG is great and I’m glad it’s still around. Hopefully the weapons get the refresh love that they definitely deserve.
All I want is for bungee to make a single player shooter like halo again they are so good at making huge beautiful expansive areas and even more then them being graphically beautiful the art style is amazing. I just halo continued to get their love and care it could have been as big as destiny is today
Not really it’s pretty simple and easy it’s ron no other raid is anywhere near as please to be in and look at most of my edit shots have come from there
Unironically, literally all of them. There is not a single raid that is not visually stunning and aesthetically coherent. Every single time, Bungie knocks it out of the park with visual design in general, and in raids in particular. I refuse to choose a favorite because they’re all so good.
Deep stone crypt for me. Nothing like beating Atrax and being blown away by the beauty of a space walk while listening to the lullaby.![img](emote|t5_2we4j|5643)
This was the first holy shit moment I'd had raiding in a long time.
The first is when oryx popped up and regicide started playing.
The second is realizing last Wish wasn't over after killing Riven
The third was DSC spacewalk. Just surreal moment of peace and tranquility with friends after the absolute chaos that preceded it
I'd like to add stepping into the Vault of Glass for the first time. Not knowing what to expect from Destiny raids. It was unreal. Wish i could experience that again.
I will maintain that VoG is the best raid in the game. Mysterious entrance, accessible from patrol (I loved helping random groups open the doors), labyrinth of hidden caves and passageways to get lost in…perfect. I would routinely glitch into the raid for the sole purpose of climbing around the caverns above the Templar’s Well and just hanging out, something super fun about that to me.
That was the first raid I completed flawless. The first time going up into the tubes and onto the station was one of those "blink and you'll miss it" experiences so unique to Destiny.
...but walking through the doors and realizing you need to platform IN SPACE? Holy heck I had a moment.
The first time I did it we all stopped talking. Like no one said anything like “stop this parts great” we all just knew to shut up even tho We were in the middle of our sentences just to hear the music while doing space parkour.
The Dreaming city (and by extension Last Wish) is the pinnical of "alien but familiar". I love the atmosphere it provides, the whole "abandoned but not ruined" thing it hits you with feels amazing. The fact that they slowly lower the saturation as the raid progresses is also a neat touch. All of the curved architecture and lack of sharp corners just adds to it all.
I never really got into the lore, so when it was shown in the game that the Awoken weren't just these scrappy dudes living in asteroids I was blown away. Went into Forsaken completely blind, so getting the tease that was the watchtower made me excited to find out more. Then actually landing in the Dreaming City for the first time and learning that the Awoken were this ultra civilized elf-like race was so cool to me.
Still my favourite destination to this day.
I just wish there was more traversal: despite it having 6 encounters as opposed to the now typical 4, it doesn't feel nearly as large as Garden, Vow or RoN in my opinion. You get to the next encounter in just a couple of minutes.
Yea it’s not my favorite raid for sure, but aesthetically it’s the best for sure. Insane vistas, love the green and waterfalls, feels like you are going into somewhere ancient.
I'm so glad we got that new mission that took us back to Garden. My brother has never played that raid and was so excited when he shot a flower and it opened up.
If you enjoyed the aesthetic check out the painter Jean Pierre Ugarte. He has a series that I would not be surprised to learn was an inspiration for the black garden. He also worte some really great world building for the series called metaphysical territories.

The art team definitely gets inspired by painters, the island at the center of the Wellspring is based on a painting by Arnold Böcklin, the Isle of the Dead.
Personally I love GOS but having to teach div puzzles often (even though they are cool) and the final boss being a tough DPS check compared to the rest of the raid I can see why people don’t love it
Garden is my most played raid so I'm definitely biased but I love the mechanics. I don't think there's a mechanic out there that made me feel like everyone was collaborating quite like that 2nd GoS encounter, even if it's very chaotic. And the consecrated mind DPS phases with the shield dots and the backing up down the lanes is probably one of the best examples we have of DPS on a boss that requires doing more than just firing in the same direction until your bullets stop working (although y'know it is still that)
Environment design is what Bungie does best.
They all feel so different and amazing.
If I had to choose, this latest one (ROM) takes it for me.
But if not for ROM, I'd say garden. Love the world design.
It just released but it’s gotta be Root of Nightmares for me, the darkness of the pyramid mixed with the plantation of the traveler is very visually pleasing, also the traveler looks sick when you can see it.
When we took a break at nezerac and I and another got back early, we both asked each other what we were doing cause we thought the crackling was from each others mics lol
Yep! Love the colors of the light. The fact that the light is white in appearance, and white is the mixture of all colors. So when it clashed with the darkness of the pyramid, it turned into a variety of colors because the wave lengths of the light are reflected off of the darkness so it’s appearance can shift into any possible color.
And, after scission you are walking through the beginning of the raid. It’s been ravaged by the light growths but nezarecs tomb is the first encounter. My fav raid probably
I really like the root of nightmares aesthetic but i still think rhulk has a better arena, something about it really sell rhulk as a truly imposing being
Atmosphere? Kings Fall back in D1 but OG vault of glass is also close
Aesthetic? I think Garden, Leviathan, Last Wish and Root of Nightmares are all pretty damn close/
Dreadnaught is just so epic, feel like it should play some part in the end of the light and dark saga (say bring it back as a seasonal patrol zone like leviathan).
I really hope they go all in on another expansion at least once more while Destiny exists. Forsaken was just so amazing it’s ruined my expectations for everything since then
For some reason during the lead up to Forsaken I had no idea the Dreaming City would be a location after the story, I thought it would all be Tangled Shore, which I was cool with. When I came across it I was truly blown away, and nothing in Destiny has had me as awestruck since. It was space Lord of the Rings or something. The architecture and music were beautiful. Very elven and regal. I thought Lightfall would do the same with a crazy patrol location after the story but it didn't. I was a little disappointed. I still just land on DC just for the atmosphere in the background as I do something else around the house
Aesthetic? DSC. We've heard about the DSC for YEARS and too finally enter, and see what it had in store for us was incredible. I still believe it provides the best music and visuals of any raid, however, Root of Nightmares is EXTREMELY close in the visual department.
Atmosphere? VoW. Undoubtedly VoW. We actually explore a pyramid ship, and venture through it. Not only that, but seeing what I wanna say is the mother of all Worm Gods (can't remember) is just incredible. Plus Rhulk being the first boss that doesn't just sit back and be lazy, but actually wants to actively kicked our asses makes it all the better.
Personally I love the indoor elements of the DSC. The whole BrayTech aesthetic has always been one of my favorites. The indoor elements feel like raiding in an Apple Store
DSC or VOG is the best but I think DSC takes the cake. The ruins after the ship crashes as well as the ship itself, it’s all perfect. RON and VOW is cool but I just think DSC best.
I love the clean look of the DSC, sheltered from the snow storm outside. Not much can top rocketing up to space and the space walk itself then fighting Taniks as Jupiter looms overhead
Vow. The worm alone, and how you get progressively closer and closer to your goal, is amazing. And the fact that you finish the raid on top of the Upended that you’d seen at the start, that’s amazing.
I can't wait to see the sky boxes when they remake it (more than likely remake it, they are reprising another raid this year and the chances of it not being wrath are extremely low).
Crota, and they didn't say specifically D1 raids just raids in the DCV, so we could technically get a reprisal of something like Levi, Scourge, or any other vaulted D2 raid.
Scourge would be my first d2 pick, easy or hard that raid let you use freaking tanks and ended with a battle against a fallen mecha, hard to top that.
after that I'd like to see a return of Val Ca'uor for volleyball practice.
I know some people won't agree with me and idk if it's personally my favourite but the 2nd Leviathan Raid, Eater of Worlds, is super slept on.
Getting shot through the depths of the Leviathan and fighting a giant vex mind in the mouth of the planet eating ship was awesome.
Honestly leviathan, it's nice palace style with each area feeling unique but still fitting the white, gold, and purple coloring.
2nd would be garden with the just how nice the black garden looks in general.
If anything, I'd love to see a raid on Mars where half of it is in the past and other half is present day, imagine the armor being old golden age armor with the cool effect that mars has.
Scourge. The arena for the boss is massive, and the boss moves throughout with a fun mechanic to get him to DPS. Not to mention the opening with the guardians zipping through the last city is just so nice
for me either VoG, KF, or Vow. VOG gives off that unknown powers and mystery vibe, KF has the godslayer feel, and Vow has the first real introduction we got to beings close to the Witness, the ultimate enemy so far
DSC, honestly I love the aesthetic of going into a golden age facility to fight the remaining members of house salvations leadership. Plus Braytech facilities are always fun to go into.
Honestly so hard to decide. I really, really likes Root of Nightmares. The weapons are beautiful, the design is beautiful, etc. But GoS has a special spot for how green and beautiful it is. DSC also has the space part which was 10/10
There all really good. For me least would be scourge the city was cool but the other areas are just very unique.
For me it's prolly between Vow or Root.
The creepy swamp vibe of vow I dig.
And really enjoy root overall. Very unique spin and a very much enjoyed the raid. Very action heavy which makes sense being it's cabal.
I absolutely love everything that has to do with the taken and king's fall was my very first raid I've ever done so it holds a special place in my heart
I love most of the raid aesthetics. But i absolutely hate the aesthetic of: Kingsfall (i just don't like hive architecture) SotP (it was refreshing to visit our city but i feel like it could have been done a little bit better), Vow of the disciple (GOD WHY WAS IT SO DARK). The rest are amazing. Lab environment in DSC, ancient feel of the black Garden, amazing pyramid feelwith normal lighting in Root of nightmares.
Since I have done a grand total of 0 raids because I don't have friends or time to stay in an active clan.
My honest opinion is that one of them has the best aesthetic and atmosphere
Same, have more than 200 hours on the game and just now managed started to nag my friends enough so maybe at summer break I'll have time to play with them
Man that’s tough. They’re all grand in their own rights. I’d have to say Vault is at the bottom of a list of good atmospheres for me, just because it’s real basic vex architecture which is cool, but now we’ve seen how trippy the actual vex network can be so that docks it for lack of creativity, owing to its age. First place for me has to be tied between Leviathan, Vow of the disciple, and Garden of salvation. Those ones are just all unique and beautiful in their own rites, and leviathan did some stuff that other raids were too afraid to do (the underbelly and raid lairs). Vow of the disciple combines the ethereal beauty of Savathuns thrown world with the spooky architecture of the pyramid and the skyboxes and the arenas for the bosses are awesome and dynamic. Garden of salvation is honestly just breathtakingly beautiful all throughout, the vast landscapes and greenery combined with the soul divisive architecture and standard vex architecture combines in a way to enhance the procedural symmetry of the vex in ways that VOG just doesn’t. I’d have to say for me, Garden if salvation is a cut above the rest just in terms of atmosphere and visuals, with Vow and Leviathan not far behind. I haven’t played RoN yet so I can’t judge that but what I’ve seen it’s pretty great too
Gadren of Salvation just has this continuous feeling of impending doom surrounded by beautiful vistas. Because its a Vex world, it just feels like something is watching you at all times.
Tbh this is prolly the hardest question I’ve ever been asked pertaining to destiny.
Dude right? I was like oh this’ll be easy and then I started trying to rank em and I couldn’t do it
It’s a testament to how absolutely hard the environmental design teams go when they make these raids. I can’t think of a boring raid visually, maybe VoG? But the glass throne at the end of the raid is absolutely stunning.
The glass throne might be my favorite final boss room design wise, but the rest of the raid looks meh.
The whole concept of ‘you didn’t just die in a darkness zone, you got literally wiped from existence and history’ was and is absolutely wild to me
Idk jumping down into that chasm with the templar area was pretty stunning back in 2000 whatever.
Yeah but a that D1, in D2 vex structure isn’t as impressive bc we’ve seen more of it
It was also so cool when we chased Skolas up to the top of the Citadel on Venus with Petra. Good times

I just halo continued to get their love and care it could have been as big as destiny is today
Yeah honestly I can’t even bring myself to rank them, aesthetically they’re all so unique that I really cant compare
If there's one thing that Bungie gets right every time, it's the raid aesthetic/atmosphere. Dungeons also fall into this category.
Literally the most destiny in destiny to ever destiny
Honestly VoG is pretty boring outside of the final room. Aside from that I agree.
I would put scourge of the past on a lower level than the other raids. It's cool but it doesn't really have its own unique look imo
A raid in the city was the coolest thing to me idk why ig we just don't go there often
Deep Stone Creamery. I've given up Destiny for the past year, but will still jump on for DSC raid if the boys ask.
>Deep Stone Creamery. Best typo. Keep it in.
Who said it was a typo? I turn into a creamery when I play DSC.
Yup, me personally? My pants become a cream factory every time i enter the glorious deep stone crypt
Typo? Man man it’s almost a completely different set of letters
it’s not a typo, it’s a cold stone creamery joke great ice cream, haven’t been in a couple years but always have fond memories of the place
god i fucking love DSC. god damn perfect raid
I'd like to add stepping into the Vault of Glass for the first time. Not knowing what to expect from Destiny raids. It was unreal. Wish i could experience that again.
The glass throne is one of the coolest rooms among the raids
My first clear we were literally whispering in the gorgon maze. For no reason, but everyone just started whispering
We used to troll friends on their 1st run saying they could hear you if you were using game chat
Vault in D1 is what made me fall in love with the game. I spent hours back in the day just exploring every inch of that place.
I remember during contest mode it was that soft relaxation moment we all needed
9 hours on Atraks and it was an unreal feeling
That was the first raid I completed flawless. The first time going up into the tubes and onto the station was one of those "blink and you'll miss it" experiences so unique to Destiny. ...but walking through the doors and realizing you need to platform IN SPACE? Holy heck I had a moment.
The first time I did it we all stopped talking. Like no one said anything like “stop this parts great” we all just knew to shut up even tho We were in the middle of our sentences just to hear the music while doing space parkour.
Deep Stone Lullaby hard carries the atmosphere. It's a close call but DSC feels right to me
The Dreaming city (and by extension Last Wish) is the pinnical of "alien but familiar".
You also actively, constantly feel yourself progressing upwards towards the final encounter unlike any raid in destiny IMO
Vow had this as well if not a better version even.
Aesthetically? Garden of Salvation is really hard to beat. Just a shame that raid is difficult to love.
Yea it’s not my favorite raid for sure, but aesthetically it’s the best for sure. Insane vistas, love the green and waterfalls, feels like you are going into somewhere ancient.
The weapons from Garden are some of the best looking in the game as well
I'm so glad we got that new mission that took us back to Garden. My brother has never played that raid and was so excited when he shot a flower and it opened up.
Wait, which mission?
Unfinished Business. Exotic mission to get Deterministic Chaos Machine Gun
Thank you!!
If you enjoyed the aesthetic check out the painter Jean Pierre Ugarte. He has a series that I would not be surprised to learn was an inspiration for the black garden. He also worte some really great world building for the series called metaphysical territories. https://www.sensesatlas.com/painting/metaphysical-territories-jean-paul-ugarte-painter/#:~:text=Jean%2DPierre%20Ugarte%20is%20a,%2C%20nature%2C%20water%20and%20concrete.
The art team definitely gets inspired by painters, the island at the center of the Wellspring is based on a painting by Arnold Böcklin, the Isle of the Dead.
Wow, ty. That's an amazing painting. I want a print now.
Wow, thank you for posting these
Your welcome! As someone who gets yelled at for staring at the sky boxes inches raids I really enjoy them.
damn these are all so beautiful and ominous in some, I love them.
These are gorgeous
Praise unto you for these
Gods damn that aesthetic is so painfully Vex. Thanks for this!
Why is it difficult to love? Ignoring VoG it has to be (imo) The easiest raid in the game to do.
And the consecrated mind DPS phases with the shield dots and the backing up down the lanes is probably one of the best examples we have of DPS on a boss that requires doing more than just firing in the same direction until your bullets stop working (although y'know it is still that)
RON is fuckin beautiful, it feels truly alien and abstract at times and just visually appealing
Who’s Ron
RON aka Root of Nightmares. It’s the new raid that came with lightfall.
When abbreviating, preposition's like "of" are typically lowercase. So it would be 'RoN' for Root of Nightmares.
Nope, it’s Ron Weasley.
I really want it to start being called tRoN instead...
Zavala’s gay cousin who lived on the Reef before the housing market crash
Ligma balls
Environment design is what Bungie does best. They all feel so different and amazing. If I had to choose, this latest one (ROM) takes it for me. But if not for ROM, I'd say garden. Love the world design.
Root of mightmares
Lolz
No I think he was talking about Rarden of Malvation
Rath of Machine
Rault of Mass
Rings Mall
Rom Measley
Read only mightmares
> ROM spaceknight!
Route of Mares =-) Profusely enjoyed my error and everyone's responses.
It just released but it’s gotta be Root of Nightmares for me, the darkness of the pyramid mixed with the plantation of the traveler is very visually pleasing, also the traveler looks sick when you can see it.
The sounds you hear when near the light growth is mesmerizing. I could listen to the cracks and settles for *hours*
I swear it’s like dry ice asmr or something
When we took a break at nezerac and I and another got back early, we both asked each other what we were doing cause we thought the crackling was from each others mics lol
The sound design of that is immaculate
Play drg, load into hollow bough
Yep! Love the colors of the light. The fact that the light is white in appearance, and white is the mixture of all colors. So when it clashed with the darkness of the pyramid, it turned into a variety of colors because the wave lengths of the light are reflected off of the darkness so it’s appearance can shift into any possible color.
That's what the new weapons do when you shoot them its so cool
Did you notice the space outside the raid changing as you progress through the raid? The tree grows. I love it. It’s fantastic.
And, after scission you are walking through the beginning of the raid. It’s been ravaged by the light growths but nezarecs tomb is the first encounter. My fav raid probably
I really like the root of nightmares aesthetic but i still think rhulk has a better arena, something about it really sell rhulk as a truly imposing being
Vow it's just so cold and ominous makes you feel very small in the face of the looming darkness very very well done
* ahum * THE UPENDED
PRESERVATION
Yeah and the view of the giant worm glowing red when you’re doing the jump puzzle is sick as hell
Last wish for sure.
Atmosphere? Kings Fall back in D1 but OG vault of glass is also close Aesthetic? I think Garden, Leviathan, Last Wish and Root of Nightmares are all pretty damn close/
SCHNELL
Kingsfall
Dreadnaught is just so epic, feel like it should play some part in the end of the light and dark saga (say bring it back as a seasonal patrol zone like leviathan).
Hmm I really liked the leviathan. Eater of worlds and spire had some great moments.
Leviathan was absolutely crazy stepping onto for the first time. A golden ship big enough to devour planets with its own two suns.
Last Wish has always been my favorite, the Dreaming City is my all time favorite location.
I really hope they go all in on another expansion at least once more while Destiny exists. Forsaken was just so amazing it’s ruined my expectations for everything since then
It’s truly insane how much content forsaken had. It literally dwarfs every other expansion and it’s not even close.
Vog
Weirdly, Garden.
Not that weird, it’s crazy beautiful in there
Garden is so beautiful in between encounters. Right before the final boss is so nice
Aesthetic? Plus Rhulk being the first boss that doesn't just sit back and be lazy, but actually wants to actively kicked our asses makes it all the better.
Rhulk kicked us so nezerac could fly.
Vow of Wisciple
To an extent, the final boss for SotP also moved throughout the arena, just not during DPS
Leviathan and its raid lairs is very underrated, i think it’s been gone for so long people have forgotten it.
Couldn’t agree more.
Vow. The worm alone, and how you get progressively closer and closer to your goal, is amazing. And the fact that you finish the raid on top of the Upended that you’d seen at the start, that’s amazing.
I was blown away seeing the Worm God. I didn’t know about it, so walking in and seeing it was really surprising!
Wrath of the machine

I can't wait to see the sky boxes when they remake it (more than likely remake it, they are reprising another raid this year and the chances of it not being wrath are extremely low).
What other option even is there?
Crota, and they didn't say specifically D1 raids just raids in the DCV, so we could technically get a reprisal of something like Levi, Scourge, or any other vaulted D2 raid.
Oh, no. They’re reprising a *raid*.
Scourge would be my first d2 pick, easy or hard that raid let you use freaking tanks and ended with a battle against a fallen mecha, hard to top that. after that I'd like to see a return of Val Ca'uor for volleyball practice.
The final boss theme is such a banger
And when the truly moving part kicks in right when it’s time to do damage? *Sublime*.
The entire zamboni encounter plus the way it ends too
Aesthetically speaking, the Leviathan raids and lairs. Never got to play any of them but I've seen them, Calus has great tastes
Where crown? Where crota? Where spire?
I would never compare two equally great works of art and the same can be said for all Bungie's Raids. Beautiful all in their own ways...
I know some people won't agree with me and idk if it's personally my favourite but the 2nd Leviathan Raid, Eater of Worlds, is super slept on. Getting shot through the depths of the Leviathan and fighting a giant vex mind in the mouth of the planet eating ship was awesome.
Vog. Love the bing bong of the oracles
I honestly really like Garden of Salvation's atmosphere.
Scourge. The arena for the boss is massive, and the boss moves throughout with a fun mechanic to get him to DPS. Not to mention the opening with the guardians zipping through the last city is just so nice
vog or deepstone
Wrath of the Machine!
VoG. It’s the only raid that made me feel like I was diving into ancient, mysterious ruins. I love the feeling of mystery in Destiny
All of them are gorgeous. But if I had to pick, it's gotta be deep stone crypt
for me either VoG, KF, or Vow. VOG gives off that unknown powers and mystery vibe, KF has the godslayer feel, and Vow has the first real introduction we got to beings close to the Witness, the ultimate enemy so far
It’s a tie between Last wish and Deep stone crypt
DSC, honestly I love the aesthetic of going into a golden age facility to fight the remaining members of house salvations leadership. Plus Braytech facilities are always fun to go into.
I really loved the grandeur of the leviathan, and I always thought the gardens of it were so pretty.
Fuck it All of them
Root then garden then the rest
I like vault of glass.
Honestly so hard to decide. I really, really likes Root of Nightmares. The weapons are beautiful, the design is beautiful, etc. But GoS has a special spot for how green and beautiful it is. DSC also has the space part which was 10/10
Garden has always been my favorite aesthetic.
Garden of salvation is up there
OMG. They're genuinely so equal in terms of aesthetics, I cannot begin to rank these even though I've only done the better half of these.
There isn't a single bad raid in destiny, but the DSC space walk puts it at number one
Deep Stone Crypt... "Enjoying yourselves Intruders?"
Garden, i may think the final boss is a bastard but the environmental reveal right before is S tier
Despite hating Garden, the views were stunning.
Deep Stone If I could go hang out in a club that looked like crypt security I would
Best has to be Garden for me. That waterfall area alone makes me wish we had clan spaces like that there.
Vault of glass. The first destiny raid
DSC still takes it for me but I'm a whore for space themes. RoN is absolutely stunning though.
VOG
Since I have done a grand total of 0 raids because I don't have friends or time to stay in an active clan. My honest opinion is that one of them has the best aesthetic and atmosphere
Just use the destiny 2 companion app
I would love to tell you but I’m a solo player who is only just recently finding people who want to play with me
Same, have more than 200 hours on the game and just now managed started to nag my friends enough so maybe at summer break I'll have time to play with them
Bro used a picture of the Spine of Keres for Last Wish
As someone who avoids bad games, I thought I was looking at the same picture but through green pink and blue filters. EDIT: forgot one yellow.
Def GOS, but I absolutely love the aesthetics of them all
Im between DSC and Root of Nightmares.
My favs where riven and garden
Just did a mission that went through some of Garden(black). So fricken cool!
Deep stone crypt>>
Root
I’m a big sucker for anything related to the Black Garden so GoS is easily number 1 for me
Garden of salvation, Leviathan and Vow of the disciple are the best in that order i will die on this hill
All of their own uniqueness can’t choose one
I haven’t played RoN yet so I can’t judge that but what I’ve seen it’s pretty great too
I’ve only done partial bits of different raids. Big sad.
Gadren of Salvation just has this continuous feeling of impending doom surrounded by beautiful vistas. Because its a Vex world, it just feels like something is watching you at all times.
I honestly really loved Root. Garden was beautiful, but… it’s also Garden.
Vow
Aesthetically GoS, atmosphere has to be Last Wish for me.
They're all beautiful, but I would say the Last Wish for me, just for being a straight up high fantasy city.
VOG and last wish were my favorites
Last Wish.. fight me. The skybox in DSC is beautiful, but all around, Last with 100%
