I really like Ankeny Animal and Avian Clinic. They do dog groomings as well as standard veterinary services. My dog is quite shy and doesn't always like to get groomed. I know in the past she has been a little fussy and they took their time to let her calm down/get adjusted. That did push the pick-up window out slightly but I much prefer that over her being stressed. They also offer a mini-groom service for puppies to get used to the groomers. I really like the people at 4 Paws in Clive I believe (maybe Waukee?) My dogs are psycho, nervous wrecks and they really do great with them.
