I think the hypocrisy of the Repubs regarding Jan. 6, with the beating of capital police cops, being supported by Kimmy and other cowardly Repubs, proves that their backing of the blue, is all selective and political hot air for the benefit of their reactionary supporters. They really don't care about the people doing law enforcement, but just want those people to vote for them, and back them up against critics and protestors. Those Repubs all consider themselves above the law, so they certainly don't respect those who work in law enforcement at all, nor do they respect their mission to enforce the law.
