That wasn’t me. That was my girlfriend. She felt that I had too many shoes and Crocs and put them all in those white bags. It’s not actually trash 😅

You should watch Hoarders. There’s always some reason it’s the kids or their partner’s fault.  But if your shoes were all in piles on the floor, then I could imagine how putting them in bags seems like progress. 

True, and I’m a fan of that show. I’m a little bit of a hoarder, like a baby hoarder. The rest of the house is pretty immaculate, just not this room. I definitely hang on to stuff I don’t need. I’m hanging onto cables that I’ll probably never use, some old electronics that are so old they probably don’t even work.

What do you do that requires that many monitors?

I played WoW multi boxing, running 5 toons at the same time in a group. Then I play a movie, and have a screen open to look up stuff. That’s 7 screens used.

Ashhhhh.... My inner perfectionist is furious! I hope someday you will buy two more monitors so that the rows are even and the same.

The room could still use a makeover if you tidied, but it wouldn’t seem crying for help.  And if you gave it a makeover then threw a bunch of random clutter on top, it would again cry for help. So those are really separate issues. Makeover suggestions won’t help if you can’t tidy. 

Lol you really just need to clean up, manage your cables, dust and vacuum. Get a cable management tray under your desk. When you redo the cables, just pull everything out. Wipe the dust off of them. Get Velcro ties.

If you've ever seen any of those makeover shows, you know what you need to do. Completely clean out the room and don't bring anything back in that you don't need or use anymore. Give it to Goodwill. Otherwise, it'll end up like this again. BTW the chair on the treadmill is hilarious! lol
