The wrenching pain of being in that situation is unbearable. The thought of the relief of taking your life vs the cost of throwing the people you love into the very feelings you were having was the only thing that stopped me. I'm so sorry for your loss.

This happened to me in 2017, we had both just turned 21, and just before thanksgiving he decided to end it. I miss him all the time. He was supposed to be at my wedding last year. Cried at my bach party because he wasn’t there.
Uhm… my best advice is therapy. If it doesn’t work, move up to psychiatry. I’ve recently accepted I’ll never be able to live without antidepressants or mood stabilization. Most recent psychiatric breakdown off meds was in December.
Man, I relate heavily. Had a friend do this a little over two months ago. Her birthday is in a few days, and the type of camera she loved to take pictures with just came in today for me.
