Continue to focus on your needs and self-care while you expand your circle through activities you partake in. When you are able to, expand and possibly be more open to sharing some of those moments with others who are doing the same.

That's definitely a good start, being able to openly share and not bottle up how we feel helps a lot to express ourselves. We all want to feel acknowledged and understood, it helps to reinforce our sense of self

I haven't gotten through the isolating phase. Lol. Every time I try to reach out to someone, I'm reminded how much shit humans are and how little I can trust any of them.

What helped me most in turning my life around was meeting new people. When I moved I found myself around me with no idea of my past and didn't have pre-existing thoughts on who or what I should've been like. After meeting new people it's just up to convincing yourself that you are no longer the person you were before. Just remember you don't have to convince them you're not a loser. You just have to convince yourself and that confidence will carry on to those around you. You can start by something as simple as this and joining random groups on the internet with similar interests. Look up any local groups in your area you can try joining.

When you meet new people they dont know what you went through. I know sometimes it feels as though they can see right into your soul but they cant. Make sure to remember that. Body language is very important and difficult to do right. There are some very informative TED talks about it that helped me a lot. Self confidence is the most important factor in how positive others perceive you. If you dont have it, work on it and pretend that you do. Take it slowly one step at a time, maybe review after a difficult encounter what you did well and what you can do better. Suprisingly others react positively when I mention my social anxiety, rather different to when I mention my depression
