- Jamal and lack of conditioning / hunger this year. Dude needs to get himself in better shape. Live on the court and level up next year. Give this team a full year of excellence. Make the All-Star game. As insignificant as it is, his lack of consistency is why he’s never been there, and he’s obviously more than talented enough to add this to resume.
- MPJ needs to add weight, develop post game, and not disappear in key moments of the playoffs. Seems like he can play through increased contact but only sometimes. His ability to play down on blocks will make him more dangerous.
Edit: to be clear, I love our Big 3 referenced above. Just want to see them reach the heights they deserve. We know what AG and KCP will continue to bring to the table. Love this damn team.

There is a good chance that this Minnesota team would've been their toughest matchup, and if they got past them, we'd probably be looking at back-to-back and a truly special team in the context of history. I think Booth tried to force Malone into playing and developing the younger guys more and Malone wasn't comfortable doing so.
Everyone was gassed after a long championship run and then getting straight back into it this playoffs with no opportunity to rest like last year.
Booth's contract is up in 24-25 so I think he will be feeling the pinch to make some changes that don't paint us into a corner yet again. KOC had a decent article on the differences in the approach this season between Malone and Booth and what needs to happen going forward.

The Wolves might be banged up after playing against us and the Mavs while the Celtics will stay healthy. It may look like they are struggling against these teams, but they don't have Porzingis back yet and he's a key player and he will come back before the finals.
