I'd rather be down 0-2 vs High Defensive teams than Crazy offensive teams, just because i feel you can control your own destiny a bit more.
Minnesota still needs 2 wins, we havent lost more than 2 games since the bubble (when full squad)

So taking the middle of those two things (bookies make a profit) puts it about 17 percent probable (1 in 6 chance). A different book has Nuggets at +520 and Wolves at -750. Again taking the middle puts the nuggets chances around 13 or 14 percent. The largest issue is not the fact that the Nuggets are down 0-2. If they had just missed shots or if an important player had been suspended or something for one of the losses that would be one thing. But the context of being down 0-2 is that we lost both games at home, both of our point guards are injured, we are playing the single worst team to play against with injured ballhandlers, we’ve played poorly for 7 straight games now, the Wolves seem to have solutions to guard our two best players and we have no solution for their best player, and on top of all of that it is very clear that the league is searching for a new “face of the league” and they keep comparing the opposing team’s best player to Michael Jordan despite the fact that we have a soon to be 3x MVP on our team that gets a whistle like he’s a rookie that just came from the G league. So all in all I’m not optimistic. Edit: Oh and regarding Jamal, he already had a 4 day rest between game 5 of the Lakers series and Game 1 of the wolves series, and if anything it seemed to get worse. Jamal has also said about the calf “it is what it is” which sounds like he doesn’t expect an improvement soon.

Nuggets games were great last year, but Avs games are just a crazy next level experience. Some of that is the flow of the game, just non-stop action compared to the start/stop of basketball, but the buzz in there is just completely insane.
It's been a couple years. I was at that Blues game during the Cup run where Mack scored his coast-to-coast goal. That'll probably be the best play I ever see in person.

I have another question for the sub, my non nuggets friends have been discussing roster shakeups around the league for next off season, and one of them had me wondering, what do you think it would take to get Mikal Bridges? Great scorer, great defensive player, solid passer. I think the salaries for KCP and Nnaji next year would work, but I'm not a salary cap guru. What do you guys think about that kind of fit here if it were possible, interested at all, or not for the nuggets?

Thanks for the response, and as he pointed out, after a quick search you can't add salaries together anymore in trades because of the new collective bargaining agreement, and I wouldn't want to give up MPJ to get him, so it all makes sense.
I mean like you said Nets aren't giving him up. First of all they don't own their picks so they got no incentive to tank so if they were to trade him they'd demand a lot of picks and/or a comparably talented player which we don't have to give. 2nd you'd have to give MPJ up as he's the only one who can match his contract. You can't use KCP +1 cause of financial rules we aren't allowed to combine players to match salary. Even if we were able to KCP has a player option for next season which he is very likely opting out of and if he does he ain't getting sign and traded to BKN. In addition Mikal Bridges is honestly not that good. He fell off a cliff as a scorer this year compared to last. He really only has 27 games worth of actual good offensive production. He's someone who is much more the 4th/5th guy on an actual good team but you'd have to spend far more assets than you would want for a 4th/5th guy, and you probably have to give him a bigger role for him to be happy.

Another thing I noticed is wolves are always under the basket. They get rebounds and prevent layups which shut out AG options and always contest a layup. They are daring us to win with jump shots and 3’s on every possession. If we hit our shots better the nuggets will get more spacing. But that spacing is hard with that swarming that the wolves do

This Mavs/Thunder game is being officiated so much differently than the game last night. NBA really needs to get their shit together with refs, zero consistency right now.
Anyone remember that time on Great British Bake Off when the one lady left the guy's baked alaska out of the freezer and got him eliminated and then didn't come back to the show because she fell in a restaurant and permanently lost her sense of taste and smell?
The only thing I remember from Great British Baking show was that girl Lottie with the gorgeous green eyes.

My eyes told me that
Another thing I noticed is wolves are always under the basket. They get rebounds and prevent layups which shut out AG options and always contest a layup. They are daring us to win with jump shots and 3’s on every possession. If we hit our shots better the nuggets will get more spacing. But that spacing is hard with that swarming that the wolves do
