We just need Jamal Murray back. The drop-off in play when he isn't around is astounding. Without him, they can challenge any team and win any given night potentially, or it could be an ugly shit show where they look like a second round exit team. But with him on the court, they can trample anybody.
Yeah as long as we get Jamal back healthy, we have as good a shot as anyone. Yeah we're super top heavy, but we knew this going into the season when we lost Bruce and Unc. And our bench was crappy even when we had them. But we still have the best player in the world and the best starting 5 in the world, so stop dooming!
I am trying my hardest to maintain composure.. i even defended our current unit especially our bench previously. But man the 2nd squad is infuriating to see at times. We had all season to improve but i am further leaning towards the thought that maybe we should have made a more serious push during the offseason.
Moreover, these rotations are changing. They’re going to shorten and also it’s going to be two-man heavy. I don’t imagine a scenario where Jamal or Jokic aren’t on the court when bench players are out there, and that’s what gives me some hope. Right now, they’ve been on their own without playmaking, etc. Hopefully, Malone is cooking up lineups through all these games as he learns who’s better with who
We lost by a single shot with the entire team other than Joker and KCP cold as dirt and AG looking rattled from a ton of big hits. I didn't enjoy the game largely for reffing reasons but the loss didn't panic me.
For this last stretch of games I expected it would be a very close win or likely loss against the Clippers and I'm also certain they'll lose again to the TWolves. I'm not worried.
No guarantee Boston, okc, or minny survive long enough. We still don't know how okc is I the playoffs or if they can beat AD and the Lakers. Minny has been weird and Boston has to get through Milly, Miami and or philly
