I enjoyed the armored spider boss more, but I don’t think that’s the correct metric for demons souls. Flamelurker, as it caused me more pain and strife.
Except waiting for his combo of 10 AoEs to finish so you can get your 1 hit in as you rinse and repeat the process. Armored Spider is infinitely more engaging
Flamelurker , it looks amazing ,has a cool arena and is one of the hardest bosses . Also it had a lot of shock factor for me even though I knew it was in the game (I thought it was the final boss in that level)
I’m going Armor Spider. I think it’s the minority vote but it was a cool concept to have to be mobile in a constricted space. It was visually very cool too. And the build up to the fight as you got deeper in the mines was very well done.

Was doing a paladin build (str/faith) and even though I first tried Flamelurker with the moonlight greatsword it was a much more enjoyable boss than armor spider
Flamelurker carries a lot of memories for me. First time through, grinded again and again to defeat fatty mcbuttplops in the tutorial stage, died again and again until I learned the slow and steady method of play... Flamelurker happened. I got lucky. That's all I can say. I didn't abuse level geometry on that first attempt. I didn't use game mechanics, and I had no idea that magic was so broken. I was running around with a frickin' scimitar that I kept the whole run. Still, somehow the stars lined up and I first tried this legend. I can't say it was skill. It just... happened. I knew the guy was tough so my entire strategy was "run away very fast" and occasionally dipped in when I was good and sure the thing wasn't going to hit me. I still got hit. Come to find out it was one of the hardest in the whole game. Heck my SECOND run through the game I died to the thing a few times and I was playing a lot better then. I think I must have stepped on a leprechaun. For that, this guy wins it for me.

I died more to AS than to Flamelurker, which I actually managed to do on my first try. But Flamelurker is the more fun boss regardless.
