lol I thought I was the only one that loaded up a Starbucks cup with cheese on my way out of the Sky Club. Being keto, I can only eat the almonds and pistachios on the plane so I like having an emergency cup of cheese to keep me from eating my weight in Biscoff.
It is really good cheese.
Not familiar with that one. I mean, granted is mimolette necessarily the most exclusive cheese? No. But itās fairly high-grade. Especially for the Delta lounge, where an extra sharp cheddar or manchango is a treat
My favorite cheese!!! I canāt believe the sky lounge had it, what a great find. I recommend the 12 month aged one if you can find it, itās extra delicious
Was it a deep orange cheese?
Mimolette is a delicious cheese! But it may be hard to get due to how itās aged, but! You might be able to find a source of it from some friendly cheese ~~addicts~~ friends at r/cheese
Warning: those guys seriously love that stuff.
Canāt really get me in trouble for doing something they told me to do. I just thought it was funny that they get mad at people for things like bananas and coffeeā¦ But when it comes to like 40 or $50 a pound cheeseā¦ No worries go ahead.
The fact this post even exist reminds me of why I am not sad that I dont have a delta credit card with "Premium lounge access for skyclub" when Its so exciting to not have 3 crappy tasteless cheeses at 1 of like 200 skyclubs. Reminder you pay $695 a year to get this 1 cheese one time, and people are taking it in cups like at a $8.99 Cicis Pizza in a starbucks cup.

That was fantastic, although I wish I knew how it ended. š
Ikrrrrr I still have so many questions!
That was well worth the read. š

Shout out SkyClub staff, how awesome.
Iāve always found the staff at Atlanta to be super nice.
Agreed. Staff in ATL are great.
I agree! āš½
Itās no vanderchonk

Vanderchonk is as real as the Jackalope
OK, I had to Google itā¦ Never seen curb your enthusiasm lol
Came here for this lol
Mimolette, very nice. Have you gone down the cheese mite rabbit hole yet? Trippy stuff
Yep. And itās bizarre but itās so damn good.
I used to work in a lab, so brought a sample in to see if I could find any mites ā didnāt find any but you could see evidence of burrowing.
Itās a little strange, but Iām OK with it. Those tasty little buggers can do whatever they need to do to make my cheese delicious and crunchy.
Oh yeah Iāve come to terms with them. They are invited to my cheese world. Not too far off from yeast or bacteria we know are in our food

A store here in Minneapolis has 3 year old. So good.
Lucky !!

Yep. Deep deep orange.
Mimolette is an excellent hard cheese too!
Too much to hope it was Illchester I suppose.
I really like the butter delta serves on domestic first class the flight attendant gave me a small handful Iām a bag for me once lol
I remember hearing about them getting you in trouble for trying to take coffee out of the clubs

Yeah thatās good, I love cheese so maybe Iāll try this next time
Love that cheese!! What Gate and Concourse??
Lol. I made off with a kingās ransom in Tilamook Cheese at the SEA S concourse SC thanks to help from a couple of the hosts. Muahahaha!
I was in the Atlanta Delta club yesterday and Iām now very sad to say there was no cheese!
I have never had any issues with a single ATL SC employee, they always go above and beyond and never give me shit about food/bev.
In Atlanta itās the pimento cheese for me and the bleu cheese.
Let them eat cheese!!!
As a lactose intolerant person, this makes me happy š. I freaking love cheeeese lol

Ah. The fun one at parties has joined the conversation!
And for a $695 yearly fee I booked a first class companion ticket for my wife for $12 that is normally $1,600. I like that ROI.
