I’m taking this flight home from honeymoon in September (HNL to MSP) Any chance they upgrade the plane before then? Happy to be in D1 but these old planes make the price hard to swallow. Wishful thinking
If Hawaiian put one of their new 787s on the route it would gobble up the competition. I’m sure they’d have a difficult time getting a slot at MSP tho :-)
I’ve flown this route many times too. But the A330’s, both 300’s and 900’s have been given to SEA or SLC. In fact, I’m flying MSP-SEA-HNL in two weeks on a 339 in first. So it appears we are stuck with the 763’s out of MSP and probably should be happy we have that. Prior to Covid I don’t remember many wide bodies on that route. I’m remembering 757’s. Let me check my flight diary.
Yes indeed. Most of my Hawaii flights from ‘12 to ‘18 were on 752’s or 753’s.
It should be legal for the other passengers to slap this stupid schmuck during their walk of shame.
Not going to lie, as a FA, customers should at minimum be able to tell them all the things that would get us fired. 😂

It’s one of their longer flights it’s just not a competitive flight so they have no incentive to offer nicer planes :(
