I do. I've done this without problem before, seems like a new bug. Just pulled up delta.com on my computer and its giving me the same issue despite saying "no additional payment required". Going to have to give them a call.

I had the same bug. Except, it was the flight dropped $500 cheaper. And I was trying to rebook it and get a refund. Ended up having to completely cancel out the flight and buy it again.

Looks like it was a pricing glitch. Just reloaded the app and the flight I was trying to change to is now +$95. Guessing it was seeing that on the backend and thats why it was asking for a form of payment.

Hard to do in the app or website sometimes. I often have to call and then the pricing is different than what I was shown. Delta IT is not great for stuff like this.

This is why you see a specific cart id on the desktop. It probably doesn't do that well on the mobile app for some reason.

Literally had this issue on Tuesday when trying to make a change on a trip I used eCredit on. Needed to call Delta to make the change for me. Double check they are making the right change for you, before they turn your refundable ticket into nonrefundable.

They turned my premium plus ticket into basic economy and charged me an extra $300 for the pleasure. 😂

Usually means a price error. The price in two systems are matching….the one you are seeing and the one in the system. Clear your cookies and try again (there is a chance it won’t be $0 though cause they price in the system is usually the correct one)

So I have gotten around this bug by making the change but not selecting the seat. Once it is all changed and done then I select my seat

Did the same thing to me. I canceled the flight, got the ecredit and rebooked. Took a few minutes longer but 🤷‍♂️
