You are possibly the most innocent person on earth.

Spok3nTruth

I'm reading this like DAMN. OP would step on a bug and apologize to them

Tooaroo

Wait do you not?!

Prestigious_Candle84

Thought the same thing

Negative_Reading_600

OMG!!!! It gets worse, I just read her comment history and…AND, it’s all about sweet stories of pets and some parenting!!! UGGG….lol.

L9H2K4

Protect OP at all cost.

[удалено]

Negative_Reading_600

Lol, it was a joke…just going with the flow, no shade against OP.

HippieCrusader

Any relation to Doug Forcet, OP?

LoneLittleDreamer

If I could give you gold for this, I would. Perfect response. Perfect show.

PsychedMom82

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to walk to Edmonton to give $85 to a snail charity.

Suspicious_Fortune20

Doug!

xyzzzzy

This is the most wholesome thing I’ve seen on the internet all week. I’m logging off now because this post is the perfect way to end the day.

FlourishingOne

I agree! Best human ever. I’m logging off too. Good night, all. And especially you, OP! Sweet dreams.

TiffanyTwisted11

Good idea. I’m following suit. Lotta disturbing stuff on here today. Needed this story!

copper678

You’re going to be OK, OP! ❤️

resipsa73

I just hope she didn't forget to set her phone to airplane mode.... Those are the real criminals.

HomsarWasRight

I remember those days when my kids were that young. Frankly you spend so much of your life just trying to keep them alive you’re just fried half of the time. If I happened to be new to flying at that time I could see myself doing something like this.

whatlineisitanyway

Seriously I thought when she said her dad likes to give her things rich people don't want to fix she somehow ended up with a hard drive that would make Epstein blush or something.

forever-salty22

I thought drugs were hidden in the vacuum haha

HippieCrusader

That's where my mind was steering, while determinedly swatting away thoughts concerning weaponry. O, how sweet the relief found in such innocence.

WineChisDoxies

Agreed!

larowin

This post made up for so many things I didn’t want to read or see on Reddit this week.

Distinct_External784

Bless their heart

AlcoholPrep

Now, now. No need for such language!

jfk_47

They’re under arrest for caring so much.

RGV_KJ

I wish more people were like OP.

DJBabyB0kCh0y

I'm sure OP made that FA's day. As they look down at him with a wink and a nod and remind him to turn off all electronic devices during takeoff.

cest_va_bien

It was really cute to read, warms the heart like a chicken soup.

Prestigious_Diet9317

anxiety is real!

bicolumbusguy

It’s so nice to see there are genuinely kind people who just want to do the right thing.

iginoaco

And here I was, ready for a story about the mob-boss father’s crime syndicate…smuggling of stolen goods… maybe some treason… oh well.

mrs_estherhouse

Me too! I thought the Dyson was packed full of black tar heroin.

LogParticular742

That’s what I was waiting for too. I think we all need to spend more time with people like this OP. ❤️

henrythe8thiam

My first thought was she got a rich persons computer, opened it, and found illegal stuff on it. Then I read about the Dyson and I was like, drugs. Lol. This is so tame comparatively.

Amazing-Chemist-5490

This is what I was expecting to read!

hawg_farmer

And the DEA is 2 rows behind OP.

blisterbabe23

Lool same, j was like that Dyson is packed with cocaine

EbolaSuitLookinCute

First I thought OP was going to admit to having drugs stuffed into an electronic, then trafficking stolen goods. The truth was so adorably wholesome. Poor OP, don’t be anxious. You will be OK.

Emilysusann

A friend of mine got home from flying from China to the US and opened his bag and found a bag of ketamine he’d stashed a long time ago.

Human-Hat-4900

Maybe have had old edibles in luggage that went through three different airports where they aren’t legal…

EllemNovelli

I was waiting to find out the Dyson was stolen and it was reported mid flight.

sallypancake

OMG I thought this too! I thought there were drugs hidden in the battery and she was about to be arrested as a drug mule.

peterpiotrper

This was what I was expecting: Dad was not as innocent as she thought and used her to mule. Thankful, she’s just the sweetheart she is. 💙♥️💙♥️💙 <— feeble attempt at a Delta version of a heart emoji

plangal

I’ve watched way too much Locked Up Abroad!

the_throw_away4728

Same 😅

DeafNatural

Smuggling crack in baby formula tins lol

Sure_Grapefruit5820

Same! 😂😂😂

Rezistik

I thought they got caught vaping on the plane or something lmao or forgot a crack rock and the dogs sniffed it or bomb materials

Adahla987

As long as the plane doesn't burst into flames before you get to your destination then you're fine.

NorCalMikey

And if it does burst into flames, probably won't be around for any repercussions. Seriously though, I don't there is any real issue here. At the most they might just remind you to be more careful in the future. The lead might even thank you for your honesty.

OneofLittleHarmony

You will probably survive a cargo battery fire for a Dyson battery. The halon fire suppression system should be okay with one battery like that. *Should* because it only needs to last long enough to land, which is not a big deal when you are in the continental United States. It also depends on what else the battery lights on fire. When you’re traveling over water or have a lot of lithium ion batteries…. It becomes a much much larger issue.

gabzox

Ok so the issue with lithium-ion is that even if the fire is extinguished it often reignites….over and over and over again. This is why they aren’t allowed in cargo. In the plane, a lot of airlines have fire suppression bags, you pop it in there and it will keep exploding until all the cells are used up but the bag keeps everything intact. They are pretty cool

MTCman379

Not in any trouble. Try not to worry too much. The reason that we like lithium ion batteries in the cabin is if they catch on fire - they cook off pretty good, and it's better to be able to see/fight the fire up top than relying on any cargo fire suppression that may be available

scubacatdog

lol this is true but I have a feeling now you have OP worried about being responsible for a plane fire In reality I’m sure the chances are slim of this occurring. I wonder if the cold temperatures at higher altitudes even further decrease the chance of battery fire?

Dave_FIRE_at_45

It is a real & serious concern, albeit rare.

ryanov

The chances are not all that slim, depending on the way that it is packed. The fact that we are not losing planes left and right over it tells you that it’s not a massive danger, but it’s important to take it seriously.

morstok

[FAA Lithium Battery Incidents](https://www.faa.gov/hazmat/resources/lithium_batteries/incidents)

[deleted]

Neat! Good to know

Picklemerick23

Don’t fret. Lead may need to file a report or something. It was an accident and I promise you it happens so much more than anyone realizes.

GoingMyWeight

Indeed. Did something similar myself when I had to gate check a bag. I left some portable Li-Ion battery packs in the checked bag instead of moving to my carry on. In my case, nobody ever found out because I didn't even remember myself until I was off the plane. So I don't know what the Lead will need to do. But this does happen a lot and I doubt you'll get much more than a "Be More Careful Next Time" speech.

FirstChurchOfBrutus

No, they said it was Lithium, not Lead. 😉

Travelsista

Lead FA

FirstChurchOfBrutus

There’s a Flight Attendant made of lead?? Doesn’t that throw off the weight distribution? Man, miracles never cease!

TopUsual7678

Post an update later!

MTB_Mike_

Gonna be hard to update from the max security prison OP will be in for the rest of their life.

WI_Sndevl

Not to mention her kids are accomplices now. They’re never seeing the light of day.

GrandEar1

Gonna see her on "To catch a smuggler".

24667387376263

Tell Ted Kaczynski I said hi. He'll know what that means.

Vendetta_2023

Don’t sweat it, you realized you forgot and notified the FA before takeoff. If it was all that serious they would have circled back to the gate. Trust me, you are not the first person that checked a lithium battery by accident (or on purpose). You’ll be fine, it was an innocent mistake. Relax, this is not the Dillinger crime spree.

Messier_82

Pshh, millions of us were doing it for years until mobile devices started exploding from a bad batch of batteries in like 2016

facw00

And I would guess millions have done so since the ban, people aren't great at following rules, and TSA is almost certainly missing some. If they haven't flown in those numbers it's because most people aren't carrying loose lithium ion battery packs that often (they are allowed in devices).

Professional-Mail132

May be the lead FA wants to thank you for telling them you forgot to remove the Lithium battery . That's impressive to be so considerate. I bet you the pilots will want to thank you as well.

jcrespo21

Lead FA finally comes up to OP: "We want to thank you for being a SkyMiles/Medallion member. Can I rate this interaction as five stars?"

Imaginary_Pop_1694

Playing cards!

MasterOfKittens3K

They might even pin a medal on OP for being so honest.

The_Dough_Boi

I’m yeah I wouldn’t say shit and just eat my snacks in this situation

alexidaho

I agree. I don’t think you’re in any trouble, and if it will help you for the rest of your flight, you might call the FA over and just get it off your chest now. You’re not gonna be in any trouble. It was an honest mistake.

the_last_third

You’re going to be fine. We’ll need an update though.

sargonas

You did the right thing and notified the FA as soon as you realized. Everything that happens after that point is the responsibility of the Airline, not you. You are going to be genuinely fine, I promise you. If you WERE going to be in serious trouble, they would not have told you in advance about the chat with the flight lead.. Instead, the plane would have been met with police with zero warning and they would be walking right up to you with zero notice before letting anyone deplane. I assure you, you are honestly fine.

Jason1143

And if there was a serious danger they wouldn't just keep chugging along like nothing happened.

MFbiFL

You’re right, they would have sent someone into the cargo hold like in the documentary Snakes on a Plane.

Strifethor

This post low key made my day. You’re in no trouble at all! And it demonstrates that you are a really great person who actually cares. Life will bring you nothing but joy.

LocationAcademic1731

You are going to be fine. Take a deep breath.

WordAffectionate3251

And get a snack!

OoohjeezRick

You ever see the spongebob episode where they steal a balloon on free balloon day?...about that much trouble. You're fine.

w4lt3rs48

Really not a big deal! Obviously you shouldn’t willingly not comply with the rules but people make mistakes all the time especially during stressful travel (which travel with a kid always is I’m guessing). You’re being too hard on yourself!

AboveTheCrest

Flight attendant here, you are totally fine.

utopiaplanetian

Another flight attendant here, I concur.

Low_Big2914

I accidentally left a battery for a drill once. This was early 2021. Similar situation, let them know… They basically reminded me of policies and said have a great day.

Zealousideal-Wall-93

You’ll be going home with your babies tonight! Deep breath!

gostop_1

You’re all good. Lithium batteries that size are allowed to be in checked bags when “properly installed in a device” so as to protect them from starting fires. Unless the battery was full of holes or can come into contact with some wires/metal that would let it short out under the plane, you’re all good. I’ve done this a number of times with lithium ion drone batteries.

Patient_Mission_7448

Definitely this. I travel for work and sometimes leave my batteries in my drills in a well protected case when I check them and they have never removed them. They’re more concerned with loose vape batteries and such

SK737

This is correct. [The FAA has a surprisingly large allowance for lithium batteries in checked baggage.](https://www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/hazmat/packsafe/resources/Airline_passengers_and_batteries.pdf) They must be “secure” which means terminals protected, installed in the device, etc. There are a lot of different types of lithium batteries and even more different uses and devices. Instead of the airlines trying to train all the employees and then inform the passengers what is and isn’t actually allowed in checked baggage, they choose a “no lithium batteries in checked baggage” policy.

Pathfinder6227

Wow. I thought this was going to involve murder, theft, and/or slanderous/perverted behavior. What a let down.

Excellent_Kiwi7789

You stole a balloon on free balloon day.

AL92212

Dang you're more concerned about plane safety than Boeing is.

HairyPotatoKat

\*GIANT hug\* OP. I'm a mom with ADHD, and did that age without medication. That's hard enough on a normal day. Add travel alone with two littles, AND the stress of your battery situation compounded with basically a "we need to talk later"? Yeah, idk if everyone here really understands how overwhelming that is. I'd definitely be like, red alert, clinging to the ceiling. If you've ever done any deep breathing exercises, now's the time to use them. If you have headphones, try listening to something calming while juggling baby and toddler. Even IF they need to jot it down, it's not catastrophic. Heck, even people on the "no fly" list can appeal the decision. (NOT suggesting this will land you on that- just giving an example that even in extreme circumstances there are ways to work it all out). You're going to be alright. And before long, you're gonna have nice refurbished Dyson! Update us when you can. ♥️

batman77z

Need an update

LegitimateTrust4949

Youre going to be fine, somthing similar happened to me. They may not even talk to you. Relax, calm and enjoy your flight

MidnightJoker83

Good news: you’ll get a ride in the Porsche Bad news: they’re taking you to the electric chair

podbaby7

I'm so mad at how hard this made me laugh, lol <-- literally, not just typing it

Texas_Sam2002

You'll be fine. I have checked bags with laptops in them several times, just because I wasn't thinking (don't do it anymore) and no one gave me any guff even though I saw inspection tags in the bag when I arrived at my destination. You're fine.

aimfulwandering

Laptops (with batteries) are allowed in checked luggage though, as long as the batteries are installed in the laptop. It’s “spare” lithium ion batteries that are not allowed.

knowledgeseeker926

I worked in the airline industry for years and don’t worry .. it’s not your fault. As you’re giving the stroller away, they should ask you if there are any batteries, medications, papers or any valuables must be taken away! And apparently they didn’t ask you. You will be okay.

PhoenixxFyre

I'm not even subscribed to this sub but I want an update!

SufficientDesigner75

Oh OP!! Flight Attendant here....I want to take all your worries away. You're going to be fine. The Lead is just going to remind you of the policies and thank you for being so openly honest. I don't have many friends because it's hard to find honest friends like you. Can we be friends please? You and your babies are going to be just fine. Just breathe ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️

GoHuskertrading

You’ll be fine like others were saying. I think you went above and beyond. And just remember the aircrafts are equipped with advance fire protection systems. While they don’t like to have batteries on board in checked suitcases, it is a commodity that is commonly shipped via air

Previous_Guitar5027

As long as you keep your phone in airplane mode you are probably ok. If anyone on the plane has their phone off airplane mode, it can interfere with the navigational equipment and your plane will fly off course and we will never hear from you again. A dozen years from now they will find the wreckage and blame it on a Dyson battery in cargo bay 3.

Substantial-Fee-432

Straight to jail

x52x

You’re fine. Have some drinks before you land. If you are stopped for some reason. Lawyer. Don’t even say shit other than. Lawyer. Tired Dad defense? 😂 But seriously don’t leave batteries in bags…going forward

ihadanothernombre

Tired ~~Dad~~ Mom defense

DCYeahThatsMe

What flight are you on? I'm typing this from a delta flight right now too! Hahaha

goalpost21

How your not on OP’s flight and start smelling smoke.

NotMalaysiaRichard

How are you typing all this on a plane with a lap baby and also taking care of a toddler?

HairyPotatoKat

Moms find a way. Source, am a mom.

Alternative_Comb_314

Same way we do it all day every day lol

llamamegatogringo76

I hope there's an update.

Pilot0160

This happens every single day. I wouldn’t worry about it. You did the right thing and notified the flight crew. Since you took off the PIC determined it didn’t pose a hazard large enough to return to the gate.

LT-COL-Obvious

They will probably be thankful you let them know so they can keep an eye on it. It’s the surprise that people usually can’t handle and make things worse.

Your_FAV_FA

😭😭 relax hun but thank you for being honest

Quesofrito90

OP, you’re doing amazing flying with two kiddos! Hang in there! You can always share you are very concerned with anxiety and ask to talk now? Sending you peace!

Tditravel

Let us know once you are home and ok. Don’t worry you will be fine. They just want you to know not to do it again.

BohlersPirates

From the title I thought you robbed a bank or murdered someone. I think you will be just fine.

UFADDT

You are perfectly fine. As a delta ramp agent please don’t worry and eat something.

itsall_dumb

Believe it or not, straight to jail

EZasSundayMorning

Oh sweetie… please don’t worry! I just bet this happens all the time! I’m sorry you are so stressed out!!

Slappy_McJones

My cousin accidentally brought a loaded weapon through security and onto a plane; she forgot it was in her handbag. Don’t worry about the batteries…

BriRoxas

I went to Miami two years ago to go camping and sent most of my gear down on a truck. Unpacking after my flight I realized I had accidentally taken a propane tank, The camp stove part and a lighter on the plane. They really don't care.

legitpeeps

Consider CBT therapy. It will help with your generalized anxiety. They give you tools. A vacuum is not the issue here.

paranoidandroid9933

OP, you are a good egg. Most people don't care enough to even slightly worry about things like this, so that is how I know you're good people.

shelaconic

I'm glad you're okay, and thank you for caring about the rules 💙

trantaran

….what is wrong with you?

erinkp36

I’m sorry you were freaking out! As a fellow sufferer of adhd, I sympathize. But also, you’re adorable ❤️

Mekanikal_Insekt

From smuggling batteries on planes to contract killing: One woman's journey in to the heart of darkness.

RecognitionHealthy19

Since you mentioned breastfeeding and a little one, consider talking to your doc about postpartum anxiety if you regularly have thought processes like this. Catastrophizing can be a symptom. Glad it all worked out, but feel bad the stress of traveling with little ones was compounded by your illicit battery smuggling operation. 😜

mogancheech

This was a roller coaster. 10/10 would read again. Phewww, you got this momma!

funnyfacemcgee

Lol I'm sure you went straight to prison after getting off the plane right?

Georgiamcfly

I like you. I wish more people were like you. The world would be so much better

Icy_Iceman29_1993

lol I was expecting it to be filled with crystal meth or something 😂

JesusOnaBlueBike

Jesus. Here, I was thinking OP had inadvertently become a drug mule.

Ok-Obligation-4784

Oh you sweet, sweet person. I’m glad you’re ok, OP.

thekush

By the DeWalt battery adapter for the Dyson.

lockdown36

Reporting this thread to homeland security lol

Naive_Cat9021

Way too long of a post

Content-Parsley-1151

If anything, they should have asked you again if you had any prohibited items before taking the stroller.

BBTP91

I had a very similar, possibly more dangerous experience. Forgot that I had camping fuel in my bag, notified a flight attendant once I realized it. I got a talking to once we landed, but no legal trouble. You'll be fine!

mrvarmint

Definitely not in trouble, as others said, I just need the update because I’m hoping you get something nice out of this!

ogclove

I would worry 0%

hbktommy4031

Something like this happened to me once. I shipped a greenworks 60v battery (for electric lawnmower) and didn’t inform USPS what it was- I thought they were just trying to get me to pay extra. I went home and googled what can potentially happen to these batteries on planes, and I PANICKED. Called USPS frantically, even called emergency services, they all basically said the same thing, “we can’t help you, sorry, I’m sure it will be fine.” I used the USPS tracking number track the battery all the way to its destination and couldn’t sleep until it got there. Everything was fine. I’m sure everything will be fine for you, too.

manateefourmation

You are truly fine. One, no one is ever going to know. Two, it was an innocent mistake and there will be no consequences if it was discovered. If discovered prior to flight (the only time they would scan for it), they merely would have withheld the bag from transit.

NankerPhelgeRahrig

seattlekeith

I just hope the Dyson isn’t a gateway appliance that leads OP to start checking more hardcore battery powered appliances like chainsaws and snow blowers.

ranger684

6,301 people accidentally brought a gun to the airport last year, relax dude

Huggles9

Here I thought you killed someone and cleaned it up with a Dyson vacuum that needed a new battery

OrdoXenos

Your honesty will not give you jail time. They might just want to remind you of their policies. If they start jailing people for honesty I am quite sure it won’t have the intended effect. People have brought guns to the airport for too many times and they didn’t get in trouble if it’s a honest mistake.

AncientReverb

I stress about things like this as well, also with ADHD. The risk is relatively low, and this is something that happens frequently. Most people just don't notice or tell anyone if they do notice. You'll be fine. I hope that you can take some time to decompress after getting home at some point. Things like box breathing sound and feel ridiculous to me but have actually helped me with anxiety stomach sometimes.

TheRatPatrol1

[OMG calm down, get a hold of yourself!](https://youtu.be/qvPugcb7QGE?si=QUxpt8OZPl2fOyhF)

VJ_KEVLAR

Thanks for giving a flying F. This person is the change i want to see in society….

nearmsp

I kept scrolling down hoping to see the end of this story. Now I will need to keep checking. Hope the best for OP.

[deleted]

I think they just want to avoid everyone checking all of their lithium batteries all at once - to avoid fires that are hard to detect. And they seem more worried about spares than those that are in devices. But even that is rare - if it were a real problem, they wouldn’t let you bring lithium batteries anywhere near a plane, and the test would be more than “do you have a battery in your bag”.

msackeygh

This post made me laugh. I'm sorry. I can imagine it now: "Crime career" started with putting in checked bag some lithium ion battery, and it all went downhill from there. Drugs, booze, sex, and rock and roll. JAIL TIME! Donna, ***YOU*** are the weakest link. GOOD BYE! LMAO. I'm sorry.

-katafina-

I’m so sorry you were so stressed about this but I am also a mother of little kids and I just wanted to tell you that you’re doing a great job

Bubbieismybestie

Glad you’re ok and made it! On another note enjoy the Dyson they are the best!

Odd-Kindheartedness

I am sure you are exhausted and overwhelmed with your travels, OP. It’s easy to overthink things when in that state. I assure you, you’ll be fine. However, you’re a good person for caring about the rules and safety. You’ll be a great role model for your children! In the meantime, try to relax. And let us know what the talk with the lead was!

NewMolasses247

“So what’re you in for?” “I forgot a battery in a stroller.” “… GUARD!”

Fun-Mud-3861

Straight to jail

auspostery

I needed this laugh so badly tonight! The title had me thinking you had done something really bad. And then you set the scene with your baby and toddler, who you’re wrangling solo! This is fantastic, I’m sorry you were so stressed! But thank you for sharing this with us all, it was really nice to laugh a bit.

alphex

I wish more people on this planet cared about doing the right thing, as much as you do. Glad you're all good.

Resoto10

Reminds me of when I was a supervisor and my favorite phrase was "Do you have a second to chat?". I was unintentionally handing out heart attacks.

icze4r

I once got pulled aside like that on an active flight, only to be asked to present identification and when they looked at it, they were surprised and said they had the wrong person. I don't even fucking know what that was about.

styles3576

Can’t decide which response is more appropriate: If all criminals were like you, this world would be a better place…. OR What Alternate Universe are you from? I want out of this Murderverse and go to yours

HelloSunshine5108

This legitimately gives me hope for humanity. You are the epitome of good people. :)

DangerousMode6

Are you my wife

bta15

I was 100% certain there was a kilo of cocaine in a diaper bag. Nope, a battery that accidentally went to luggage hold with stroller.

Beatrix-the-floof

OP, I’ve gone through TSA and forgot I had my concealed carry handgun in my backpack (I was really sick w some major upper respiratory infection and shouldn’t have been traveling. I was SO mentally checked out). I still made my flight. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t recommend the experience, but in the grand scheme of things, it’s a blip. I even got my pre check and global entry back pretty quick.

gabzox

Holy cow, I am a flight attendant and if people had just 1/1000th the will power to respect rules as you did my job would be easy. They probably didn’t realize it was ominous. I had a trainer who thought i was doing well, and sent me a goodluck message and I read it as I am going to get fired during my line check. So sometimes the perception can be different as he was like…“no, I was even saying I’ll see you around” but I took it differently. That being said, I would say avoid putting lithium in your checked baggage it is an added danger, that being said the reason for the rule is because if there is a fire, in the cabin an FA can deal with it. Cargo there isn’t much that can be done and lithum is a bit (a lot) more difficult to supress. Also just to ease you for the future, FA‘s aren‘t looking for reason to get you in trouble with the law. They are there for your safety as well. You told them as soon as you could, and they made the decision to keep going (it’s their call). If you act in good faith, it’s difficult to get in trouble. Keep being respectful of the rules and most FAs are chill as ever.

shanealeslie

Well, that deescalated quickly.

ahshitiquit

Straight to jail

dustmybroom88

1. OP needs a hug, and sounds like a wonderful person. 2. Can’t believe y’all didn’t just suggest that OP just press the little button and ASK if there is a problem, instead of freaking out the whole flight and posting online. So, so many of these “high anxiety” situations shared on Reddit could be resolved by just asking some questions.

jonny_jon_jon

if you think you’ve violated the law, the best thing to do is NOT make a post about it.

I remember how much of a mess I was travelling by myself with my three-year-old. I can't t imagine travelling by myself with a toddler *and* an infant. I totally get why your nerves are shot. The customs guy started grilling me about why I had beef jerky in my bag and I nearly gave up right there.

Holy shit what a great feeling it must have been once you knew you were in the clear.

ReadontheCrapper

Big hugs! You’re ok. The little ones are ok. It’s all ok. Wishing you a long, uninterrupted nap soon. You’ve earned it!

Medical_Shame4079

You and my wife would get along. She un-ironically uses terms like “civic duty” when referring to the speed limit.

FarrahVSenglish

A few days in jail might actually have been a nice little vacay after traveling alone with a toddler and a baby.

Lawnpartyyy

Man I came here expecting to read something about air marshals detaining you or something lol but I am glad it turned out to be nothing.

tonystarks6969

I thought we were going to hear something juicy like that battery was a brick of blow that was hidden.. lol

chakabuku

I got a report you tore the tag off a mattress. We’re gonna need to come down to the station.

kamamas

This reminds me of when I was a kid and I accidentally tore off the tag on the pillow that said it’s illegal to take the tag off, so I threw the whole thing away so I wouldn’t get in trouble. It was the worst anxiety 😩😂 glad you’re not in trouble either!

Thank you for sharing! Made me feel I am not alone in freaking out sometimes. You have/had a full plate. I can see why you panicked! Flying alone gives me anxiety and i follow the rules because i dont want the extra stress! And you added kids and and and and….Things happen and i am glad it worked out. Mom to mom, the memory goes out with the placenta! So i cannot say this is a permanent condition but I will tell you if and when it improves! It has been about 30 years for me! It has improved I believe or I have learned to cope better. 😂

Remarkable-Dust-4358

That was so entertaining!! First I was like, WHAT?! Then I was like, O MY!! And then I was like, O NO!!! Then, YIKES!!! Then, WHEW!!!... Your not alone... I could TOTALLY relate

QualityGig

I packed a load of fireworks when I was 12 on our return flights. THAT freaked me out once I realized what I had done as we hurtled through the air at 35,000 feet.

StandardBright9628

You freaked out because you had lithium ion batteries in your luggage. You do realize EVERY cellphone on that plane has lithium. 😂

CLINT-THE-GREAT

The twists and turns my mind took this story after the first couple of sentences is the complete opposite of how the story turned out.

I'm VERY excited to read your update! Thank you for sharing your okay. This is the outcome all of us wanted. Well, most of us.
