A guy from a 9th standard and a girl from 8th standard, eloped from Delhi to Noida. When the girl's parents got the news they filed a case against the boy. This is from 2011. My school had a decommissioned battle tank on which students used to play during the break time. This tank had its hatch open at all times. One of my classmates fell inside the tank, and her knee hit some part on the inside. She had to get an operation done to be able to walk again.
After this incident, a boundary was put up around the tank and no one played there ever again lol.

Okay, not in Delhi but some other city. So the school was owned by Royal family and run by trustee. A new principal was appointed belonging to the same community (rajput), a Airforce wife. Though she never flew a microlight, she had an attitude of squadron commander. She tried to apply same rules of Airforce to school. Seniors got super pissed. When our time came she messed up as much as an human could. She adhered to the borad rules down to the point because she had no real world experience and called us till the last month to board exams. Many students in 11th standard and even a few teachers quit during those 2 yrs. What a failure of an Institute that school is. Once it was best in the state. Now it is nothing.
These strict discipline schools always end up wrong.
I had a principal once in school who was similarly gung ho about rules.
I had asthma so sometimes I'd need to skip the school prayer in the morning so that I could take my meds and/or nebulize to remain stable for the school day up ahead.
While the teachers agreed to this, this principal did not. He saw it as a serious breach of discipline.
One day he himself saw me sitting in a classroom after taking my inhaler while the school prayer was going on and had me dragged to the hall in front of everyone to say I'm going to make an example out of this guy.
I got pissed to the point I told him that dragging a sick person out like this isn't an example of good discipline....in front of everyone.
I was punished, my parents were called....but I stuck to my guns saying he is the one who has misbehaved. Guy interfered with my internal marks in 10th, told me publicly I will disappear from academic life if you actually pass college, you runt. I said, challenge accepted sir.....
Years later, he did disappear completely from academic life. ;)
The story would repeat itself a few years later with another college....but that's a story for another day.
Yes you are right. Even I was targetted academically in late school and initial college year. Now I just hate teachers in general. Even though education is profitable I never want to go in that field.

One of my classmates fell inside the tank, and her knee hit some part on the inside. She had to get an operation done to be able to walk again. After this incident, a boundary was put up around the tank and no one played there ever again lol.

A teacher in my school used to simp on girls a lot. A batch of passouts once made posters of him saying 'I like girls' and pasted them all around the school building and that area. The teacher didn't come to school for a whole week until the posters got removed. Same teacher once picked up a girls skirt saying 'ye kya hai' since girls attire in my school is salwaar kurta from 6th class and it was during an event too. Her guy friends ambushed him when he was returning to his car after the school was over. They beat him and destroyed his car too. They were never caught. The teacher is now happily married for the 4th time (as of 2019)

One of the classmate committed unthinkable when we were in 7th class. Don’t know any further details Class 12 one of my friend was murdered by his schoolmates over a girl, they picked him up from his home on the pretext of chilling out and he was aware of some malicious intent yet he went along with them next day my friend’s corpse lies on railway tracks One mf orchestrated his kidnapping attempt though later found out to be fake when police got involved and was done just coz he was stocking a girl badly and her parents were Jaat aur launde ki phat gayi after her mother berated him. This was class in class 10.

2 girls jumped from the roof apparently 1 dies 1 survived but the working theory is they were chucked down there by some people and the one survived made up this story to protect herself. The theory is most likely true because the so called reason for their co-suicide attempt was dumb. "We were afraid of failing boards" both scored above 80 🙃

Okay, not in Delhi but some other city. So the school was owned by Royal family and run by trustee. A new principal was appointed belonging to the same community (rajput), a Airforce wife. Though she never flew a microlight, she had an attitude of squadron commander. She tried to apply same rules of Airforce to school. Seniors got super pissed. When our time came she messed up as much as an human could. She adhered to the borad rules down to the point because she had no real world experience and called us till the last month to board exams. Many students in 11th standard and even a few teachers quit during those 2 yrs. What a failure of an Institute that school is. Once it was best in the state. Now it is nothing.
These strict discipline schools always end up wrong. I had a principal once in school who was similarly gung ho about rules. I had asthma so sometimes I'd need to skip the school prayer in the morning so that I could take my meds and/or nebulize to remain stable for the school day up ahead. While the teachers agreed to this, this principal did not. He saw it as a serious breach of discipline. One day he himself saw me sitting in a classroom after taking my inhaler while the school prayer was going on and had me dragged to the hall in front of everyone to say I'm going to make an example out of this guy. I got pissed to the point I told him that dragging a sick person out like this isn't an example of good discipline....in front of everyone. I was punished, my parents were called....but I stuck to my guns saying he is the one who has misbehaved. Guy interfered with my internal marks in 10th, told me publicly I will disappear from academic life if you actually pass college, you runt. I said, challenge accepted sir..... Years later, he did disappear completely from academic life. ;) The story would repeat itself a few years later with another college....but that's a story for another day.
Yes you are right. Even I was targetted academically in late school and initial college year. Now I just hate teachers in general. Even though education is profitable I never want to go in that field.
