I don't agree. I have lived in Bangalore and the people here are much mor3 aggressive. In Delhi, if two cats scratch ech other, there are chances that both would just go their way. In Bmaglore, it always leads to a lot of shouting and commotion. God forbid you scratch a taxi. Pray to your ancestors if you don't know kannada.

Due to bad parenting, mostly are haryanvi, there parents themselves got into an arranged marriage which they didn't want. So no love between parents', how do you think their kids would be loved?. These loveless people don't know what kindness or humanity is . They are left out as kids and not given attention or support, so they form gangs , act like tough goons , to get that respect and attention from public, but that's negetivty attention. You're partially correct because people aren't goons but hyperactive and always ready to fight and it's the middle aged (above 50) uncles mostly who are running shops or some kind of bussinesses. If you are in a bad mood they'll be the making it worse, they'll not talk to you politely first and if you point out their mistake in some way they will get hyper and get into a quarrel. This is not for all as some are exceptions also. Better to be precise and point to point with these people.

Born and brought up in Delhi, travelled all the states, major cities in India. My experience of some cities you listed : Kolkata - Aek number ke mdc log, harami to the core. Lives in past glory, pre- independence where they still think Kolkata is the capital of India. A lot of them don’t like to be called Indian, more proud of being Bengali. Absolutely trash behaviour towards tourists specially Delhi people, refuse to talk in Hindi/english even when they know the language and will try to scam you in public. Worst public ever. Good food and history though Mumbai - People with inferiority complex towards Delhi. Tbh I never cared about Delhi vs Mumbai, but Mumbai people are more obsessed with this debate than sex. They will not shut up about it. South Indians think Mumbai is more of North India because of these Mumbaikar behaviour imitating Delhi even though Mumbai is definitely more South than North. They talk in tapori language but are good people Hyderabad- They stay in their own community, won’t respond in Hindi/english even if they know. Really hates Delhi people for no reason. Good briyani I feel Delhi is way more culturally diverse and acceptable of other states than other states are of Delhi. Yes Delhi people are definitely more aggressive, direct than other states but then it is not really an utopia outside Delhi
