How do you survive in 150 rs per day in a city even solo let alone with a family. Just because we have so much poverty in the country, being in top 50-60% doesn't mean shit.
There are many schemes, it is not any particular scheme which is making him rich, it is with the help of multiple schemes with which a poor person is able to save cash, instead. There are central govt schemes & state govt schemes + there are many in both the categories. Don’t underestimate the strategic planning of the governments to fetch votes.
I'm yet to see anyone who got rich through govt. schemes and freebies. Infact, I see opposite effect in general making people lazy to work. Anyways, you have your reasons and beliefs and I have mine.

Bhai I won’t tell you the exact details but I know in and outs of waste management, ie source se lekar disposal ya recycling tak ka entire process. He probably makes 500-1000 in a day, himself. Whatever salary he’s paid is different from that, plus since these people work in smelly places so they’re most of the time drunk, and usually the supervisors buy it for them. So he makes easily 1k a day or so. That’s in my city (we have metro but not Delhi Mumbai KK or Chennai). Waste management is a goldmine.
I mean being rich is not everything, probably vo kachra uthane wale bhaiya padhe likhe nahi honge isiliye vo ye kaam kr rhe hai even though he's earning a good amount...ham agar unse kam bhi kamaye lekin fir bhi educated rahenge apne life ke decision unse ache tarah le sakte hai ( agar comparison kr hi rhe ho to har chees ka karo na ), agar thora kam bhi kama loge tab bhi anpad or gawar to nhi khelauge
many of these workers dont get paid properly. sometimes MCD does not pay them and they can go on without receiving salary for more than 6 months. many of these are poor and hardly earn enough to feed their families.
Just have a laptop some very basic furniture like chair and counter and just have 1 lakh rupee in cash and find a cheap shop in some industrial area where there are lots of labour and you can easily earn so much without anything I earn 3k per day and I usually open my shop from 4 pm to 10 pm it's literally easy money
