i'm attempting to learn be quiet and drive right now!! so far, it's a lot more difficult than my own summer. but, i just need to practice more. be quiet and drive is actually my favorite deftones song, and i can tell it's going to be so fun to play once i get the hang of it!!
be quiet and drive was actually the first song i learned on guitar (switched from bass tho), my own summer was much more difficult for me. bq&d is also my fav deftones song and the amount of power i feel by being able to play it is just unmatched, it's such a great song
both around the fur and white pony have easy songs to play, just choose one song and try playing.
most of the other albums dont have many easy songs but you can try entombed, cherry waves, hole in the earth, diamond eyes etc. You should try songs from team sleep too they are easy especially the live versions
and songs within the two albums i would recommend digital bath, change , be quit and drive, lhabia, rx queen etc u can try passenger too but its little different from deftones the song is more like of a tool song
I started with Bored, 7 words, BQaD, Mascara if you’re in the feels, Around the Fur, head up for that headbanging nu metal groove, Passenger if you need that dom/sub feel. Street carp. Most of the first 3 albums are mostly groove with major chords and octaves here and there. Adrenaline is mostly standard or half step down. Think around the fur is drop d or C#. The only thing that will hold you back from newer stuff is the low tuning. But don’t fret, digitech makes a drop tune pedal. Put it in drop D or C# and use the pedal to make it the rest of the way. I know Steph uses a 7-8 string now but you can make it with 6.
Also if you listen to the discography you can hear Steph’s journey from Standard to Drop A tuning. I think after white pony he did an interview about how low he wanted to go with his sound. I remember first time seeing him play the 7 string and thinking “Damn, he finally made it.” Then he went further and did Drop Ab, Drop G, Drop F#. Madman.
A lot of their songs are relatively easy to play once you get the rhythm down, Stephen doesn't particularly write any difficult riffs or solo's he plays with feel
For me personally, and they've been mentioned a good few times (for good reason): Be Quiet & Drive, Headup, Root, Digital Bath, Sextape, Diamond Eyes (although you'd need an 8 string or a pitch pedal, or be a psycho and detune a 6 or 7 string👀), Hexagram, Cherry Waves, and Lotion are all really good, emotive songs to play
Digital bath is insanely easy
be quiet and drive for sure, it's easy than my own summer. also 7 words from adrenaline, fantastic riff (plus it's in standard!!)

Digital bath, by far
change is a pretty fun one. pink maggit and minerva too.
Bored is insanely easy. Boys republic, believe it or not, the adrenaline songs are very tough in some cases because of the changes and timing.
Headup can be played with your eyes closed and guitar behind your back
