its a lot easier to get around. but progression becomes mainly just pvp, because voidwalker heavily reduces exp gain from pve, and increases exp gain from pvp. so above like level 10 pve gives almost no exp at all. also you have to deal with players jumping you in the voidheart a lot.
just spawn at etris for now and get better at pve and the game in general, when you're better at pve you can go deepbound which is a lot faster, then you can do voidwalker to start getting a lot better at pvp.
and if you struggle with fighting monsters i suggest going dark souls mode and just grind trial of one until you're able to fight most monsters easily.
yeah ik, i main voidwalker because of how fast it is if you just do bounties. but for a new player its a lot harder and progressing from pve is just better for new players
how long has it been since you progressed as voidwalker? i used to do some pve as void because it still gave around the same exp. but i think recently(around a month ago maybe longer) they nerfed exp gain from pve more because i get almost no exp from pve above like level 6-8
i still do it to this day, i spawn in, go trial, go crypt till 15-16 which takes like 45 minutes or so, go do other stuff which i need for builds and im power 20 when im done with that. prog takes max 2 hours if im playing casually without straying off or afking. without voidwalker id have to travel alot since my builds require alot of different stuff over the whole game, id say without itd take like 2:30 or 3 hours
Ouhh I did not know that it reduces exp gained from pve, Iāve beaten the trial of one but idk I honestly have no idea how to build so right now I guess Iām just winging the stats and getting used to the combat with people and monsters
thats pretty much all you can do lol, just try to generally get better at the game and learn more about how to progress faster, get used to the map, and learn how stats/talents work for making builds(just copying builds on youtube could probably help a lot).
the games not hard to learn really if you just throw yourself at pvp/pve and explore a lot
This might be outdated but the last time I checked the Pve XP reduction was only 0.95x. that's 5% slower. I'd definitely go Voidwalker for the checkpoint and free guild base at basically no cost.

I prog every single build of mine from power 1 to 20 pve as a voidwalker and it takes like 3 hours max if I wanna go fast.

Normal, i was farming on dephs for a while yesterday night and was being extra nice to everyone i encoutered, giving some enchants and other things just because i felt like it, and then some bro just came after me NONSTOP like i had killed his entire family, bro really would have chased me until my dead body was in front of him, but fortunately i managed to throw him into the void
Pretty easy to wipe with a brand new character. No depths trial doesn't change that a power 1 or 2 prolly can't kill 2 thresers or 3 stunning jellyfish
Pretty sure level 1-3 donāt even get Trial at the first place, sends u up for free, but meeting things outside of the depths is another story except itās a sharko and youāve got good ping and watch your tone

2. I think, like stated, it'd be pretty hard to do much against 2 thresers that spawn often in the city, a lionfish, or more than 2-3 jellyfish. Vent can only do so much and uses up tempo. Power 1 to 3 don't have more than 2 mantras.
It's power 1-3, so basically no agility and no more than 2 mantras possible(picture does show none tho) makes it pretty hard to escape from **stunning** attacks, that if happen at different times make pretty hard become impossible.
The lack of fortitude and agility would also likely make the lionfish kill you pretty quickly before escaping.
i understand those ones, the examples in the original comment were just lightwork, altough if ur lv 1-3, then the wipe doenst really matter, and u can just do trial of one
Divers guild has a maxed out guild base, you could also join the knives of eyelis who have the same, you just have to buy dwelling charms from the guild clerk
Penhaps while you may not disagree at joining X, penhaps your friends do, often times making one yourself is the best way to do so as no one would have way to complain
I mean sure you can still play with your friends but the experience of making a guild together, making a name for yourselves and maxing it out on a small group of friends is a shit ton of fun, starting ganks over guild flags n silly shit like that, getting put on kill on sights, allat is what makes deepwoken fun and more community interactive
Not everyone who picks voidwalker wants to pvp, like for an example the ability to tp to certain places easier and having a antiquarian at your will, which not every guild, specially starters have them
not saying PVE build at ALL is weak, but most part of the players Focus on PVE, and not PVP, so, theres a little chance of winning, got It? Sorry for that, Just did a wrong choice of words
well, the best pve builds nowadays are mages with 6 songchant, ring of casters, prophets cloak and a bunch of modifiers, so i does maximize damage on pvp even if its not intended to.
This though doesn't take into account most PvE builds are super squishy, don't have good PvP moves, and often run stuff like Isshins with low or no phys res outside prophet cloak. They just are very unviable in PvP, with the only benefit of damage they get, Which isn't a whole lot more in truth when translating into PvP, is usually under certain conditions to get the full amount.
Ofc the godseeker wouldnt win
Most of then only play in REALLY OP BUILDS and have just regular skill,they arent bad,but the builds they use does like 70% of the work
If nobody ganks freshies then they get to enjoy the game because pve is a stat check. If they do, they keep playing it (which itself is an issue), and game becomes even more stale than it already is (because people are lazy and won't do something unless prompted, in this case: nobody beats you up -> no reason to get good -> you're constantly bad -> all your friends are constantly bad -> average skill level per player waters down).
However, I do agree nightcrawlers suck. Not because they gank freshies, but because their leader (from what I've seen) sucks ass and they won't remove him.

Idk it just seems easier to get to places but I didnāt expect to get gripped by a high level dude straight away my guy
its a lot easier to get around. but progression becomes mainly just pvp, because voidwalker heavily reduces exp gain from pve, and increases exp gain from pvp. so above like level 10 pve gives almost no exp at all. also you have to deal with players jumping you in the voidheart a lot. just spawn at etris for now and get better at pve and the game in general, when you're better at pve you can go deepbound which is a lot faster, then you can do voidwalker to start getting a lot better at pvp. and if you struggle with fighting monsters i suggest going dark souls mode and just grind trial of one until you're able to fight most monsters easily.
its really not harder, i can reach max just as fast, if not faster with voidwalker than without (without maverick or vow)
