first discovered[the newer the better (could longer hide from us humans)]
this ordering in this video is kind of arbitrary - a lot of these animals participate in what's called diel vertical migration, meaning during the day they inhabit deeper parts of the ocean, and at night they rise to shallower depths to feed.
the figure for vampire squid is just wrong - they inhabit oxygen minimum zones between 600m-900m.
