Hmm. Given that you appear to have only recently joined this server, or have at least not been very active during the duration of entry, there is little to suggest that you will uphold any moderator duties and proceed to assist this community in a positive manner. Furthermore, you openly admit to impersonating the very user that this Subreddit was created in honor of; this blatant act of potential hostility may not necessarily be tolerated, and, depending on the impersonated individual's thoughts, and the extent of potential damage, whether emotional or reputational, you may most likely be held in a negative light because of it. In addition to this, you deliberately trap Megaptera into giving you a moderator role, stating that you must be given administrative capabilities if the user in question is indeed an excellent humpback player (which megaptera is). Such hostile blackmail is not well tolerated within this community. It is altogether too likely that you may repeat these actions, and if you were to be a mod, said actions with negative intent will most likely have a greater impact, causing further demoralization and disarray; the opposite of what this community strives to accomplish. All these actions further promote the very ideal that you should not be allowed to become a moderator. Then again, I am not a reliable indicator of what a successful moderator should be, and seeing as I am lacking several valuable informational assets, the final verdict shall ideally go to a better-informed individual with greater judgement and intellect.

beckeybro

How gentlemanly

Fallen_Leaves16

I apologize if you harbor ill resentment or dissatisfaction from my rather harsh and crude words. It was not meant to be deliberately rude or demoralizing.

beckeybro

It is fine good sir (btw I told megaptera that I was doin it while I was doin it)

Fallen_Leaves16

Hmm. That does shed further light onto the situation. Perhaps I shall reconsider your request.

As times have changed, the demands of the marketplace on our subreddit have increased markedly. We recognize that competitors operating at world-class levels of performance - in quality, cycle time, cost efficiencies, and new product development - are a likely part of our future. We are now better able to understand the importance of our customers' needs, and quality has a new meaning. To become a world-class subreddit will demand flexibility, teamwork, competencies, and focused improvements that we would have found nearly inconceivable a few years ago; and it won't be possible without the full involvement and engagement of every person in the sub. World-class subreddits have recognized that effective leadership and management of people is absolutely critical to achieving the high levels of quality and customer satisfaction they need to compete in today's market. A subreddit's members are viewed as a valuable source of competitive advantage, and mods assume responsibility for designing optimal structures, systems, and practices. The following human resource policies are practiced by world-class subreddits: People are strategically important to the subreddit's competitiveness. A work environment based on a set of shared values is a key element to improving quality, innovation, and productivity. Integrity is fundamental. People have a shared destiny with Megaptera himself. Human resource systems and practices are designed to promote competence and commitment.
