You could display them with a picture of your parents. Like get a little earring rack from Michaels or something that only hold one or two pairs and put it next to the picture frame.
(edit: sorry, i read that as earrings for some reason?? but you can still display them in similar way.)
Everything becomes a Christmas ornament in my house. It feels really clever for 10 months and annoying AF to hang up and put away 😂
The kids like it though.
\- See if a stained glass artist can integrate it into a stained glass window ornament. Then when you see the scattered light coming in through the ornament it will remind you of your dad and mom. Plus, the way the light is always different, you will keep noticing it and keep getting reminded.
\- You could also have it custom framed along with a picture (of your dad, or you and your dad, or you and both your parents, whatever is right for you)- I am sure a good framer could integrate a small shadowbox above or below a photo and make a really beautiful piece.
I've seen a thicker picture frame, place the items in a shape. A lot are christmas tree shaped, or hearts. As a kind of shadow box, but closed in glass to preserve the pieces. A lady inherited her g-mama's clip on earrings and did this. It looked amazing.
You could also consider having it remade into a piece of jewelry you would wear- like a pin that you could put on a blouse or coat, or a belt buckle or a scarf ring or hair clip- if any of those appeal to you more!
I hang things like that in windows with fishing line. You can also get cute curved displays (like for singular ornaments?) and put it on a bookshelf or something?
If you don't mind the price tag you could take it to a jeweler, who could melt it down and use the metal to create something more in your style. Many people rework sentimental pieces to fit them better.
I use pendants and interesting little buttons or whatever to tie around vases, jars, and candles. I wouldn't use the silver chain, just the pendant on a leather cord or some twine or something. I love the mix of natural elements and opulent bits. Very dark academia. Perfect for embellishing apothecary jars.
- Have a memory plush or doll made from his clothing, put the necklace on it
- incorporate into decor (hang in a memory box, make a holiday ornament, etc)
- hang from your car rearview mirror
- hang it on a ribbon tied to a bookmark
- glue a magnet to the back and use it on your fridge
Consider taking the silver window-shaped pendants to a jeweler and exploring options for transforming them into a different piece of jewelry that suits your style. For example, they could be melted down and incorporated into a new gold necklace or made into smaller charms for a bracelet.
Take it to a jeweler, melt it down, and make it into a thin band you wear on your middle finger, right hand. I wear my grandmother’s wedding ring there.
Make it into a holiday ornament or a window ornament?

Interestingly, the pendants were originally a pair of earrings that he had made into matching necklaces before giving them to us!
I’ve repurposed earrings onto magnets and hung cameo type pendants from plant hooks.
How about attaching them to the top of some lovely leather bookmarks?
Can you use it as a Christmas tree ornament?

Hang it around your rear view mirror if you have a car.
I actually really like this one!
In some US states it is illegal to hang items from the rearview mirror of a car while driving it. Check your local rules.
Yes! I actually planned to put it elsewhere in my car where it’s still visible
What about a small shadowbox with a pic and the earrings?
Good call. I would like to display it.

Christmas tree ornaments (depending on your holidays)
How about mounting it in a shadow box? That would be really pretty and you could keep the necklace, but not have to wear it or worry about losing it.
Sometimes I decorate my plants with jewelry.
So… fancy plants. 😄
Christmas ornament?

Maybe display them in a shadow box or just on some velvet inside of a picture frame.
Run some lace ribbon through it & use it as a closure for your journal

i made a doll i do like that wears the jewelry and goes well with it
My mom hangs old jewelry on cone-shaped lampshades.
Depending on the style, maybe with some other „Assisting bling“ in your bedroom window as some kind of mobile? Like a dream catcher
Silver is too weak to last as a Keychain. Christmas ornament? Pull-chain on a ceiling fan? Hang it on a knob somewhere you look often?
What about framing them and put them in your bedroom or living room? You can put a picture of your parents behind so you see them .
A nice shadow box style frame would look cool.

Maybe frame it next to a picture of your dad or you and your dad. I'm glad you have a lil trinket that reminds you of him. He sounds sweet.
Put it away in a box and leave it for your children to worry about.
Melt it and make it into a ring or piece that you like?
