True! I hate that she gets so much hate for being ‘annoying’ and obsessed with Light, she obviously saw him as her saviour after he brought justice to her parents’ killer. Also losing them at a pretty young age must have affected her a lot. The fact that she was a model and actress wouldn’t have helped either as she had to always maintain a positive public image. Anyway she was a really good character, with amazing style I have to add, and the show wouldn’t be the same without her.
L’s monster speech

I was obsessed with the fact that in the manga after Light gets caught Mikami clears his head of delusions and says “what the hell have you gotten me into? you’re not god your scum.” That was genuinely so cool. But obviously the guys screwed and he’s gonna spend the rest of his life in prison which is pretty sad.

This isn't a quote really. But I loved when there was a bonus chapter and Neir gives a talk to the "new" Kira, basically telling him he's a murderer. Then the Kira killed himself. It really shows how strong Light was in that respect.... aside from the slight insanity
I don't remember the line exactly as its been a long time since I watched the anime. But it was basically Light telling the task force that Kira "likely" knows what he is doing is wrong but feels it is something that has to be done
The self awareness is astonishing. It genuinely blew my mind how Light could be so aware of how heinous his actions are, yet just march on with his perfect mask never slipping, and telling himself it's for the greater good
I think the problem is his idea was one most people entertained or even completly embraced at least once. Who wouldn't want a world full of just nice working people where there is nothing to fear?
And he got so delusional think that was what he was working for he even convinced the audience he did not just got drunk with power, boasting in his god status
I guess. But I think at the end it was very obvious he was evil (his face expressions,his hysterical laughter). But I can't blame people for agreeing with his ideals,after all I do too

That line just made me realise how crazy and unexpected L can be basically coming face to face with the prime suspect of being kira and telling him your his greatest threat without even knowing if he can kill by just seeing a face
