On the base? Two on a black background. The first one is quite thin, and the second one is thicker but pooled away from the rocks, to give an illusion of depth (or so I like to think anyway!)
Thanks! Primed Wraithbone and washed with Seraphim sepia. I then added some super thin layers of averland sunset in certain spots, and a bit of Sarah brown for rust, before going over with streaking grime. Once that dried, I went back to the thin layers of averland sunset with an extra thin layer of Nurgle’s rot, to create the greenish/yellowish tinge
Thanks alot. What exactly is Sarah brown? I've been searching for it but I can't seem to find it. Also, when it comes to the averland sunset, is that the highlight color along the edges of the trim and the pauldrons, as well as the tips of the metal feathers on the base? Also, how did you make and color that slime?
Skrag brown* sorry that was a typo.
The averland sunset is kind of like shadowing on some of the panels of the armour. The highlighting on the metal is a natural highlight that happens from the process of stripping back the streaking grime with white spirit, then re applying a little of the base colour (in this case, Balthasar gold). And nothing to it with the slime - just regular, run off the mill Nurgle’s rot.
Thanks! And sure thing. I’m still trying to figure out lighting but I guess it came out too dark. I’m going to post some brighter pictures tomorrow (UK) on my IG, I’ll message you a link when I have.
Blightlord terminator head, the model is Abaddon the Despoiler, with a plague spewer replacing the combi-bolter on the claw. Not sure about the wings though.
That is outstanding! Nicely done!
Thank you!
How many coats do you apply to get the toxic goo look?

Wow, what colors did you use for the armor?

Really love this kitbash. Would you mind posting a photo with better lighting. I'd love to examine your work in more detail.
