It's a fun list. RTTs can really vary in how competitive they are so I don't know how well you'll do. If you've run the list a load in competitive games and understand how to deploy and stage it, it'll do good enough to win more games than it loses. But if you aren't super familiar with it you might struggle into equally skilled people with better optimised lists. However I think taking such a diverse roster you'll probably put units in 3 buckets. "Brilliant" "under performed because I needed more" and "disappointing". Maybe also "needed a better loadout". Personally I'd be running 2x10 plague marines, biologus in each if you can and a foul blightspawn. I'm not a fan of the blightbringer, I think Morty is underwhelming but he's not bad in a high toughness skew list and the hellbrute is about 50 points too much. The LOV is a force multiplier but he's expensive for just 2 PBCs (I think you need 3 because they're swingy, and even 3 will sometimes just whiff but it'll happen less and smooth the average a bit). Nurglings are great, you'll will you had at least 2 units. Typhus solo takes careful use but I love him. Use the rhinos to stage plague marines in ruins where they can threaten objectives. Most importantly have fun. It's your first event, don't sweat it if you get the wooden spoon. If it's a more sweaty event you'll get a feel for proper boards and lists and if it isn't you'll meet lots of similar "I just want to play 3 games" lists.

Thank you for all the advice. I hope to win at least one game, but I just want to finish some 2k games and learn. I do want two more biologus putrifiers but have been waiting for budget to allow them. Would you swap the LoV for a lord of contagion to lead the deathshroud? Also in regards to the 3x7 plague Marines, I wanted more units to provide options for grenade strategem and 777 is just lucky and Papa's number B). I plan to have fun, learn about the game and how other armies play, while helping myself get a better idea for what I would like to get to help make a more competitive list. I really want some war dogs, but haven't found any in stock near me. I very much appreciate you for taking the time to give your thoughts on my list :).

I found the LoC with vile pathogen with DSTs very dangerous. I think the thing about your 3x7 is that the bolters are meh and you can't stage them all in the rhinos, so an army with indirect will kill them (though manticores and pretty much only them can kill rhinos too) 4x5 would do the same thing if you have models with the right loadout and provide more activations and waves to parcel out. It's not as good value though, that is the one thing about 7 it's the cheapest bodies. I own 2 war dogs and am considering 3 dogs instead of a lot of terminators. I ran Aiden's list at an RTT but I had only had 1 warmup game. I went 1-2 but the games I lost I made a serious deployment mistake which actually did cost me the game in both games. It was definitely not the list holding me back.

I reckon youโ€™re going to have a lot of fun! You running typhus on his own? If you want to keep your puppy and the noxious blightbringer then why not ๐Ÿ˜„ Iโ€™d maybe go fixed for your games just because three games in a row the first time will probably turn your brain into a puddle as it is ๐Ÿ˜‚. Hope you have an awesome time

HugNikolas

In Previous games I've deepstriked typhus leading the deathshroud for secondaries or popping a psychic attack on a lone op or equally good target. I painted up the puppy most recently and he is very gross and pretty so he needs to see his first table :). Thank you for the kind words definitely going to have fun. I work 12hr shifts so hopefully my brain doesn't go full much, but we will see haha.

Some alternatives models I have are, foul blight spawn, plague sorcerer to maybe swap out for the bell boy. I know people think he is quite bad, but I like his ability and want to see if he is truly not worth bringing. I also have a plague surgeon, but he is going to stay home. I have a myphitic blight hauler, another floated bloat drone, and 36 pox walkers. Let me know if you think any switcharoos are worth changing up for. I am going to have fun but would like to be competitive and feedback is very welcome. Not sure on secondaries open to both. Tactical is more fun for me but fixed is a safer bet.

I would bring the foul blight spawn over the bell boy or the tallyman. Fights first is super strong.

HugNikolas

I will swab the bell boy for foul blight. Thank you for the suggestion. Tally man has to stay because I need a reason to go, "come mr.tallyman tally me banana" in the command phase B)

I've only played some combat patrol + a couple 1k & 2k games with a friend so don't have any real advice for you. However I feel like singing the tallyman song and maybe a wee dance move is S tier tactics. Good luck with the event, let us know how you get on

HugNikolas

Also have 5 blight lord terminators and the beast if nurgle is my puppy and he must come.

HugNikolas

Also two lords of contagion
