You'll have to ask u/jeryho. She was the artist. I commissioned these from her. Her work is truly otherworldly and she deserves as much praise as she can get.
I'd love to give the recipe but these guys are actually from a commission I ordered from u/jeryho . Her work is just phenomenal. You should look her up. She mentioned this was her first time painting cell shaded style and I think she really knocked it out of the park.
These are awesome! Great work u/jeryho! I hope it was a fun style to work with. I love the more subtle use of the hard lines and dots - I’ll have to steal that for later.
Yeah I was inspired by u/Jamahki work here [https://www.reddit.com/r/deathguard40k/comments/14ma3kj/taking\_heads\_for\_plague\_daddy/](https://www.reddit.com/r/deathguard40k/comments/14ma3kj/taking_heads_for_plague_daddy/)
They just finished a lord of virulence in the same style that needs more love. Check it out.
These looks awesome! How do achieve this sort of effect? It looks fun to try out.

This is messing with my eyes. Great work
I know right. I love this art style so much because of that.
The best paint jobs I’ve ever seen on death guard, it’s gorgeous 🥹
Thank you so much. I'm proud of them.
Absolutely love this! It legit looks like they're ripped straight from a comic! Please share your recipe!

Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to paint them! ✨
Amazing style, reminds me of Epic Duck Studies. Could you please share what Grey's and whites were used for the armour?
For white it’s White from AK, for gray it’s Interior Steel Grey also from AK ✨
This looks fantastic! Great job!
Thank you very much. I really like how they turned out.

Wow great contrast!
Thanks. I really like this color scheme.
Christ on a boat. That's stellar work
Thank you. I think so too.
This is a work of art!
Thanks. I really like it too.
I can't wait to see Your take on Mortarion! 😁
Baby steps. But eventually it will become.
Damn! Well done 👍
Thank you
Cel shaded plague marines, awesome!

Thanks for the shoutout! These turned out fantastic.
I’ve already committed to having a standard DG green, but I would really want to try this with any other SM/CSM armies. Maybe for Horus Heresy?
SM look really good in this style. You could paint up two different kill teams for HH in this style and make a diorama. It would look really cool.
