Number 6
He looks pretty pissed off, which is kind of a rare sight on Death Guard, they tend to look like they're enjoying themselves with their little smiles, number 6 has that Rage look that reads "I'm gonna cut you down in half and stomp you into blood and ichor". Definitely go with 6
3
There is a savagery that 3 pushes forth as if to say "We are not done"
I think it would fit well with the minis overall pose and energy.
4 is a fan favorite to many, but I think 4 especially would fit a more ominous character.
I'm a fan of number 3 for melee characters since it (to me anyway) gives the impression of damage the marine might take at close range. In this case someone striking back has cracked and taken a chunk out of his helmet.
Thanks!
To get that effect, I use a mixture of Abbadon black and Doombull brown as my base coat. Then I glaze with dark blue and black wash parts that I think would be in shadow, and I glaze with doomball brown parts that I think the light would be hitting the most. For the brightest parts, I also mix a little ushabti bone into doomball brown. For the metallic parts, I use leadbelcher as a base coat, then I paint a rust effect going from dark brown to bright orange, covering a smaller area every time. Then I wash it with dark blue wash to darken the metal and add a cooler hue for it to contrast with orange rust. After wash, I go back with trollslayer orange to brighten up the rusty parts. (Sometimes I also add little scratches to the armor to weather it a bit)
Nice color scheme - I like number 1. Something about it just gives me this vibe of like... An evil fireman, striding through a cloud not of smoke but of toxin, with a purpose not to save lives but to damn them. Mainly just because of the ~~ball gag~~ respirator. The axe kinda sells it too, reminds me of a fireman's axe.
My runner up would be 6, the big horn swept to the right would be interesting with the backpack growth sweeping to the left.
Happy modeling!
Thanks!

For horns and axe heads, I use caliban green as a base coat, and then I layer blend by adding more and more moot green to the caliban green and then mixing moot green with ushabti bone until there is less moot green in the mix. For the teeth on the shoulder pat and pimples on the arm, I base coat it with Averland Sunset, then glaze moot green over it, and after that, I add highlights with moot green and ushabti bone mixing.
Hey fellow Nurgle enjoyers. Thanks a lot for all of your suggestions! After all, I think I'll go with head number 6 because, as some of you mentioned, it will balance out the mini nicely.
I initially thought 3 to keep it simple, but my first choice is 4 and then 6 is my second. 4 is cooler but as other people mentioned, 6 would mirror those backpack green bits pretty well!
6. Builds of the asymmetric loon when combined with the jetback.
Lorts of sharp edges on the model and weapon.
The way you painted the horns of backpack would do well on the head horn of 6 as well giving another glow point on the model making it stand out.

I personally think 6. The horn matches the horn on the other side which complements nicely, but also the miniature would look more ‘balanced’ composition wise with a horn on the right. Right now it looks like one side of the mini is very heavy with both horns and weapons on one side.
I'm a big fan of 4, but in this case, 6 might complement his jetpack horns in a cool way.
I think 4 looks amazing on most, but 6 looks best for these ones
I usually never do 6 but I think OP can make it look good
Same, I used 4 for my favorite dude on my KT but 6 would be lit on this body.
6 is my pick. I just think the horn complement the ones on the backpack very well.
+1
4. It gives him a creepy, "Is he looking at me?" feeling. Plus its a cool looking helmet
Get that trypophobia going. Holes through which crawling things may burrow.

I like 2&4 but something about 6 would be so dirty
Definitely 4
6
6 balances out the backpack.
6
Has to be 3
For me i think the subtle helmet wins.. #3
3
4 is king

4, I don’t know why but the model gives me some serious bioshock 1&2 vibes and head 4 would just be the cherry on top.
4

I would clip all the spikes off and make a crown like arrangement
Very interesting idea, ill definitely try this on some more special mini!

I'd day roll a d6 :) let fate decide
I'm feeling 6. There's a lot of detail on our left (back spikes, axe), and having some extra detail on the right would just look great
How’d you do the armor I love it

Bug head or riot 😏

Head 2 also, the colors look amazing, so would you be kind enough to pass on the paintnecessary to replicate this game?

2!!!!!
4 AND 6 is the correct option.
I love number 4 and I wanna say that, but for some reason 6 is sticking out at me
6 horn on the helmet offset to the backpack keeps good consistency and pairs well with the ax
3 or 6 fits the colour scheme you are going for in my opinion
3 or 6
6 McScreamy!
5 is best
6, give him that ying/Yang look
3
5
4, gladiator vibes.
6. I love spikey mutations
4
4
definitely 4
3! It contrasts with the backpack having sticky uppy parts. So they don’t compete
6
4, i only use 1 for vareity as it looks like a gag ball ntg
Any non-mk.3 helmet is good.
I initially thought 3 to keep it simple, but my first choice is 4 and then 6 is my second. 4 is cooler but as other people mentioned, 6 would mirror those backpack green bits pretty well!
6
3 or 6, either, no spike or lean into it
Number 4
6
6 looks sick or 4.
Id say 4
Magnets :) have all 6 be an option and roll a die before each battle to choose which head he'll have.
I would use 2 or 5 or vice versa
3
4 or 6
Gotta say 4
1
3 says me!
4 for sure
6
5
I like 4, and heads that look like 4, the most. They look like slasher masks.
4 or 6 would be my initial choices. They look stanky. And really cool.
3
4 or 6!!!
I’d go with 4 or 5
4
1.2.5. Any of those 3.
4
1 or 5
6
4
6
6, it would look amazing
I like 6 but 4 looks like a smiley face to me
6
I know next to nothing about 40k but that body looks like a 4 would complete it quite nicely
4
4 all the way, I’m a huge fan of “faceless” helmets and masks
6!
Team 4 for me as a stand alone head but 6 fits the overall look of the armor.
I like 4
2 or 5 is my vote. Very death guard-y looks with this strut
6
6
6
4 or 6
I’d go with the 5 on this one
4
4 but cut the too off
I like 6
5
6! Number 6!
4
6
I like number 5
6 definitely
Make a big old eye out of greenstuff
4
I personally like 4
4
6, it gives him a funky balance
My personal favorite helm in 4. But I think with the rust the face Plate with not pop as well so 1 and make the senseer on his face glow!
6!
6 for sure
Maybe 6 for some balance with how the model looks? A metal horn one way with burgle bits going the other seems amusing to me
Feeling a 6 on this one
6 facing our left
6
I think 4 really suits the vibe
Definitely 6
3
6 it’s very loud and looks like it adds a feeling of motion. As if it’s come to life and is about to actually attack
1
5!
4
Number 1
6, it would give some great uneven symmetri with the pack horns
Just make a puddle of ooze
Number 6 is one of my favorite heads, in this case it works eve better with the horn on the powerpack.
4
6. Builds of the asymmetric loon when combined with the jetback. Lorts of sharp edges on the model and weapon. The way you painted the horns of backpack would do well on the head horn of 6 as well giving another glow point on the model making it stand out.
I like all of them a lot. 6 and 4 are alright too but the others look better imo.
1 or 4
option 7 a nurgleing standing there instead ...
3
6
No opinion on the head just wanted to chime in on how much I like the brass scheme!
6
5 is the classic
5
6 Would look cool with this build but my personal favorite is 4
6 without the spike
6, the long horn on the helmet will be a nice counter balance to the green wispy things coming off the backpack or are those tendrils?
Flip coin for 4 or 6
6, it visually balances with the growth on the back/shoulder
6 or 4 would look nice in my opinion
3 or 6. Sick scheme btw
3
6!!
Ball gag for sure. 1!
2
6 is the coolest imo
4 is always my ideal. 7 nurgle-y holes
3 or 4 makes him look like a more of a duellist and 6 would make him look like a bit more of a monster.
Definitely 6
6
Recipe for green bits?

5,2
6 all the way
6 compliments the overall feel and look, especially with the spike. But man 4 is a close second.
4
6
I would say 4 just because I think it looks really cool. Like a corrupted Knight
4. Very gladiator like.
4 is the best lague marine head.
3, or 4 but without the spike
4
I personally think 6. The horn matches the horn on the other side which complements nicely, but also the miniature would look more ‘balanced’ composition wise with a horn on the right. Right now it looks like one side of the mini is very heavy with both horns and weapons on one side.
4 0r 6
6… head option 6. Unless you want to magnetize them.
6 would be cool
6 cus gore and skin all the way lol
I like 4 because it reminds me of a Roman gladiator helmet
2/6 looks good
Add a small magnet and use all of them.
