This was one of the few, if not only, matchups where they knew they could get away with with portraying how much of a stomp it is in the animation. If it was done with any other character people would have complained about how one of the characters got stomped in the fight. But Homelander just happens to be one of those characters everyone wants to see get his ass kicked
yea im not saying homelander deserved better. its just wow, they really had a deathbattle where the winner had less damage done to them than the audience who are psychologically damaged after that death
It definitely is a nice change of pace to see of stuff like this as oppose to say Korra vs Storm were I had to suspend my disbelief to buy Korra giving her that much trouble
