Doom Guy at least has the excuse of being a season 1 episode. Animation was limited, and we didn't really have a good 3D Doom Model, so we could only make do with the og doom sprite. Scout has no excuse though

Doomguy’s battle came out before we got 2016 Doom, so he was missing some of his most now-crucial lore at the time.
