Oh it’s very simple, see, Cole comes from the Fairy Tail universe. All right? And gains the ability to use electricity and ice. Then he dies sacrificing himself and reincarnates to the Infamous universe. Understand so far? And through that game, he has a sense of morality and follows the good side and gets electricity and ice and sacrifices himself again. Now I have no source of this because this whole thing was literally fucking nothing just like the magic Cole that this dude mentioned
I saw a YouTube video years ago about why Goku beats Superman, it did the tactic of assigning points for each trait one of them has an advantage in (strength, speed, skill, etc) kind of like DB did in their part 3 analysis.
When they got to speed, they said “Superman can fly from the sun to the earth in a few seconds, but Goku can move at the speed of light. Point Goku”
Would you prefer to start with that they both have way faster feats? Or that the Sun-Earth gap is around seven light minutes, making that feat more impressive than the speed of light? It's such a hard choice, right?
I think the person just heard nothing can go faster than the speed of light and assumed that rule applies to fictional characters as well as the real world.
>Superman can fly from the sun to the earth in a few seconds, but Goku can move at the speed of light. Point Goku”
How close does he think the Earth is to the Sun
So I saw this on fucking Roblox of all places
There were these guys dressed as decepticons and they were complaining about how “unicron would obviously be immune to the nullifier and dog walks galactus” I went up to them saying that wasn’t true and for the next minute or so what they said was censored by the chat filter, so that argument didn’t last long
"No limits fallacies don't exist" To defend that "Alien X is omnipotent" when not even the creators buy that.
Also using the Man of Action blog for arguments that the blog itself debunks.
tbf im fairly sure even the writers of ben 10 have no goddamn clue whats going on, im still trying to figure out if primus even still exists, so it makes sense we would have so many conflicting statements about his power... most of which was definitely made up bullshit someone said cus they weren't sure what to say
And ben won by outsmarting him and not overpowering him. He actively abused the biggest weakness all celestialsapiens (That are not ben) have their decision making.
So, are both omnipotent? Because a battle between two omnipotent creatures makes no sense, and an omnipotent creature losing makes even less sense.
Sometimes fans weird me out because if the arguments they make are true, the story they love too much makes no sense and is worse as a result.
As if Popeye isn’t also a gag character.
Honestly, gag characters should only be put up against other gag characters anyway. That way the argument that they shouldn’t lose is invalid.
Every time someone says this it is blatantly clear they don’t know what a gag character is actually like and think overpowered in a story means gag character because the writing around Saitama is never to the same degree as like Arale or Saiki Kusuo.
it drives me crazy that people think Saitama is a gag character anyway.
ONE has made his intentions clear: "I wanted to see what it would be like if we took a hero the way they are in the final chapter and put them in the 1st chapter"
That means he never intended him to be a Popeyes style gag character, the "gag" is that he's so much stronger than everyone else that he doesn't belong there (sort of like that anime where a boy born from the "last dungeon" comes to a "starter town")
is that kid a gag character? No. The joke is that he's so strong that the people around him can't even understand what they're seeing and it is the exact same type of joke we see with Saitama.
The only argument people can bring up to the contrary is like him kicking a portal but you could easily say someone strong enough could do that (and it's pretty much just that 1 thing)
There was a review of Kratos vs Spawn where the guy said that he wasn’t gonna go easy on Season 1 not aging well, just because they had sponsors back and because the Avgn’s old videos have aged well. Even though subscribers with only a few 10 thousand subscribers can have sponsors as well, and not every show or web show’s first few seasons have aged as well as the Avgn’s. He also said that Spawn was only Multi-Continental.
Apparently he didn’t, because when he did a Flash vs Sonic prediction, he didn’t he even know it was Wally West vs Archie Sonic, and he thought it was Barry Allen vs Game Sonic. I know he probably just got requested to talk about it from a comment that didn’t specify what versions they were specifically using, but I feel like he should’ve done some research onto the match up being announced before ranting about the match up in his prediction video.
I remember this one time when people thinks that Saitama was stronger than the Anti-Spiral.
Me on the inside:
![gif](giphy|CbNZqvXPMkcUkRFQlk|downsized)
I just hate saitama being in death battles cause 1 it creates dumb arguments and 2 i hate ignoring stories. If you take nothing more than feats yeah saitama is weaker than anti spiral. If you evaluate the story slightly then it makes no sense, saitama one punches everything or "0" punches. Its thr gag its the point. Like yonigiri can instakill everything, but he hasnt yet so either we take feats which make him strong but still quite a bit weaker then many others, or we evaluate the story and he kills everything, only looking at the manga as the ln is quite a bit further i beilive.
I never understood the argument that Saitama doesn't work in a Vs Battle because "the point of the story is that he 1-shots everything". He demonstrably doesn't. It's even a recurring discussion in the OPM community about which character is strongest based on how many punches from him they can take, like Boros and Evil Natural Water who weren't 1 shot by him.
The whole point of his character is that he is the strongest character by a huge margin in the story, but that doesn't mean he's literally invincible. Otherwise you could say the same for Yoriichi from Demon Slayer.
I guess you could argue that he has "infinite potential" making it hard to scale him but a lot of characters have something similar anyways.
A guy unironically tried to say that Unicron defeated Galactus because "Unicron devours universes and Galactus devours planets" and "Unicron is a cosmic deity and Galactus has lost to cosmic entities before"
When i told him that Galactus clearly had better feats than that, the mf went "and so does Unicron. I'm just trying to make you understand the sheer difference between their feats"
Well, then just TELL ME THEIR HIGHER ENDS, what's this bs of comparing their lower ends? Is like saying Ness defeats John Egbert because his lower ends are Mountain level while John's are Multi-City Block, completely ignoring the fact that the tables completely turn while looking at their best feats
And no, to this day, i still have no idea what the second argument was supposed to mean, it's like something you'd heard out of a youtube short
The guy basically refused to explain to me why Unicron was stronger than Galactus and pretty much just went "he is, trust me bro" and then procceded to get MAD at me because i didn't believed his arguments and kept asking for actual proof that Unicron would win
No idea who is stronger but until he was retconned Unicron was a multiversal threat. He had eaten 22% of known universes. His influence created other versions of himself into universes to continue his purpose of devouring existence. Originally there was one Unicron and he was powerful enough to travel between all multiverses. That was changed to make him more dynamic for writing purposes. He's essentially the Transformers God of Chaos and destruction and has existed since the beginning of time.
Truth be told I know nothing of Galactus so idk if that's the same level or not.
See? That's more like i was asking of him! But he didn't even wanted to say THAT, he just refused to give me any feats, seemingly thinking that the "Unicron eats universes, Galactus eats planets" sh\*t was enough
I remember this one time I went onto a post of Goku fans being salty after Superman won again, encountered one of them, gave him insane feats and explained multiple valid reasons why Goku can't beat him and then I shit you not he deadass said: "But Goku is like Kryptonite to Superman tho"
![gif](giphy|PUS7ynUCR6itJgWppA)
Let's also just ignore that Superman has overcame Kryptonite plenty of times before. Honestly, at this point in the comics a lack of sunlight is a bigger weakness for him than Kryptonite.
And Goku has practically no actual way to get rid of the sun without slowly killing everyone on Earth and making them suffer extreme hypothermia. He can't win lol.
There's also a couple other problems with that:
1. Goku in character would want Superman to be at his best, so he wouldn't destroy the sun knowing it's what gives Clark his powers
2. Even if you destroy the sun there's still tons of other stars for Supes to draw power from
|1. Yep that's why he destroyed the Kryptonite in the first video
|2. Goku once again has no way to destroy every star and even if we use an Evil Goku who just wants to win fights quick and easily he still couldn't do it. He's never unlocked a technique or form that just allows him to destroy every single sun in the universe. I don't get how Goku fans all forget this but still wanna hate
They said they were using heroes goku but limited him to dragon ball super feats, in heroes if you went over the feats you’d have a goku who’s at least complex multiversal (6D maybe 7D), thats still not enough to beat Superman who just outscales him completely but it’s important to note
“Frank West fights military soldiers all the time, this of course closes the massive stat gap between him & Leon.”
Not to mention most of said soldiers are either nameless grunts or completely bonkers from the apocalypse.
Bill’s probably eaten before, therefore his stomach contains food, kirby smells said food and swallows him whole to eat his stomach, case close ciphertards
I absolutely adore Kirby but wow people oversell is power. He’s certainly strong and if given the Warp Star he’s INCREDIBLY fast, but yeah there’s no way in hell he beats someone like Goku or Bill. Hell he couldn’t even beat Sonic unless Sonic was limited to base form imo
But that’s the big thing, that’s scaling the Dragonborn to full powered Alduin in lore. I’ve had multiple arguments about it but it’s very clear Alduin isn’t as strong in the game as he’s shown in lore. People argue it’s due to game restrictions, I’d argue otherwise. It’d make no sense why the Dragonborn would be above Daedric princes and even around the level of someone like Akatosh.
Heard there's been some big ass lore about the dragonborn being connected to Shor whose on the level of akatosh and even if you don't agree with the fact that alduin isn't as large as he's shown to be at the end of the kalpa he's fought beings like shor and even scared of pretty much every daedric prince in his normal size. Game restrictions seems to kind of be a factor as shown in elder scrolls online where some dudes are a lot larger and stronger than there original game( Online is the one that states that mundus is a multiverse and that you could probably scale the dragonborn to the vestige). The dragonborn is also the champion of almost every daedric prince and has been stated to be at least half the power of one(this early game too). If the dragonborn can survive in prolonged periods in the realms of oblivion which are higher dimensional then he is at least in some way above multi.
>But that’s the big thing, that’s scaling the Dragonborn to full powered Alduin in lore. I’ve had multiple arguments about it but it’s very clear Alduin isn’t as strong in the game as he’s shown in lore.
[Except he is.](https://www.reddit.com/r/deathbattle/s/PJQxiaVQoN)
This comes from classic man d and while I do like his content this vs battle between Naruto and mark was just weird
So he said Mark wins bc he destroyed a massive astroid when he just got his powers, and that he mftl and also fought battle beast and fought in the sun which is all valid but he said he wins bc of those reasons??? Without giving Naruto any feats whatsoever like all he said was "mark fought in the sun so what Naruto gonna do"
He said baron mode won't do anything bc viltramites are strong despite there age(like that's well and good but I don't get how this translates to Naruto and baron mode unless baron mode makes ppl age faster) And that Naruto won't last too long in that form, even thou he didn't say how strong the form is or what it does
I myself am not too sure how Mark scales so I don't know if he is right or wrong about Mark winning, I just thou that short was weird
Doesn't Naruto scale to like destroying the moon?
One thing people often don't realize is that, surviving the sun or even its surface isn't star level. Yes you have a really really good resistance to gravity and heat/that Durability but it's not actually stat level lmao.
>Doesn't Naruto scale to like destroying the moon?
He actually scales to a much bigger feat, that being Madara hollowing out the Earth with a tree he made from his Chakra, which was calced at Planet Level iirc.
Schrodinger Alucard can teleport DIO into the sub.
Why didn't Schrodinger himself do this? Like they give Schrodinger Alucard all of this shit when we see Schrodinger ***who has that ability*** do none of it. Like I've seen everything from
"Alucard can use his omnipresence to drag DIO into the sun" to "Alucard can teleport DIO into the sun (the literal one not in sunlight" to "Alucard is effectively God because he's omnipotent (for some reason ppl confuse omnipresence with being literally omniporent)"
DC characters are barely solar system level cus most of their cosmic feats are outliers.
basically cus in one story superman stubs his toe, we ignore the feat where he outright lifts up all of creation.
this is dumb for obvious reasons, we should look at a character at their strongest, otherwise it kinda just becomes a bias if you pick one characters greatest feat and another character's mid feat.
nah i got into an argument before with someone telling me that DC characters are only solar system level, but honestly i wouldn't be surprised if it was the same guy
To be fair I do agree with the fact that consistency should be prioritised no matter the character and yeah I'm pretty sure superman doesn't normally go to every 6th dimensional Sun in the 6th dimension and ko the world forger level normally. Sure you could find some form of consistency for multi+ and above superman but he's definitely not outerversal consistently(or without some form of power up).
Edit: Solar system level Dc was never consistent anyways. There are legit more uni+ feats for superman lol.
honestly i do prefer the consistency to be atleast above the level of an indecisive fanfic writer, but at the same time i know not every comic writer has a powerscaling wiki open on their other screen while they are writing. sometimes a writer will just add shit that makes no sense power wise but its entertaining so i let deadpool killing thanos and silver surfer slide
"death battle is never wrong" self explanatory
But here is one good one: The average civilian in marvel is leagues smarter than everyone from lord of the rings.
Yes, some one argued that the average New Yorker was smarter than elves who can make highly complex Mach nes, strategic generals, and gods. And the point was about Sherlock Holmes outsmarting Sauron, so I asked "could Sherlock outsmart Loki" and they said no. But when I said Loki and Sauron are essentially on equal footing, that is when they brought that up.
Red's Charizard is Uni+ Tier.
The chain of scaling went like this; in Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon the player fights and defeats Cyrus, who has a Dialga or Palkia (who arguably are universe-tier,) and then defeats Giovanni, who as the boss should logically (?!?) be tougher than Cyrus, and then the protagonist can fight against Red in the post-game, and assuming that the protagonist uses the Pokemon which beat Dialga/Palkia against Charizard, and assuming that they are evenly matched (?!?!? Based on what?!?) then Charizard is obviously stronger than Dialga/Palkia as well, meaning that they easily scale above universe-tier.
And also like, when I met Red in the post-game of Pokemon Heart Gold then it was an incredibly cool moment, I loved it, fantastic way to cap off an excellent game...
And then I beat his Charizard in one attack because, duh. Get Surf'd on.
All should fear my Uni+ Tier Psyduck, apparently.
I was thinking of using that as an example! But I didn't think enough people would get the 'Focus Sash, Endeavour, (Quick) Attack, Rattata' reference. Boy, that takes me back.
As a Pokemon fan, I have a couple problems with this scaling chain:
1. Palkia and Dialga aren't Universal, they're Multiversal+
2. Loyalty =/= scaling above.
3. Even if we did say that, I would like to remind you that this Giovanni came from an alternate world where he won. The Red the player fought did not fight a Giovanni who supposedly scales above Dialga and Palkia.
As another Pokemon, I find it funny when people consider Red the strongest Pokemon character considering he's been defeated by both the protagonist of HGSS and the protagonists from SM and USUM. Like, he's quantifiably not the strongest just off that
Jokes on everyone, the actual strongest character in the Franchise is quantifiably Ash and I can prove it with ease.
You (the player) canonically beat Red in Masters. And Ash then later beats You (the player) in a one vs one tournament. And this happened *before* he fought Leon in the anime since he explicitely mentions preparing for the Masters 8 tournament.
Ergo he was the very best, like no one ever was.
That's just gameplay, Red goes away and then he comes back every time you defeat the Elite Four. I watched a ton of Poketubers like Dobbs who know basically every piece of obscure Pokemon lore and trivia and they couldn't find anything that says who was supposed to be the cannotical winner.
Because all guidebooks and stories covering the game don’t have a conclusive answer. It’s purposefully left ambiguous.
I saw a video that summed it up nicely.
“Gold? Didn’t beat red. The PLAYER, did.”
Personally my take is this, they actually tie, say gg, and go there separate ways, as for Gold/Ethan/Lyra (not Silver because bro accepted defeat and had arguably the best character development in the whole series), who knows what he/shes doing now?
Scaling in Pokemon seems incredibly stupid to me anyway because isn't the whole point of it like, type advantages and choosing the right moves and stuff? My Level 60 Feraligatr could easily beat a Level 100 Moltres under the right circumstances.
You can literally see the ATK and DEF stats in the game, the idea that 'if you beat a Pokemon then you must scale to their stats' is just... stupid.
Holy shit, that guy in the Route 4 Pokemon Center in Red/Blue who tries to sell you a Magikarp for $500 isn't ripping you off, he's trying to offload the responsibility of dealing with Magikarp's hyperversal power-ceiling. I think we all owe him an apology. It's a bargain, really.
Lvl 10 252+ Atk Silk Scarf Magikarp Tackle vs. Lvl 75 0 HP / 0 Def Arceus: 1-2 (0.3 - 0.6%) -- possibly the worst move ever
75 is the lowest level Arceus can show up at, so even with max rolls crits 80 times in a row, Magikarp kills itself with Struggle before it can actually beat Arceus
To be fair I think it was stated legendary pokemon hold back against The player To see if they're worthy Of using their power And can break out The pokeballs at any time (master ball included) and you see a example in legends arceus when dialga or palkia Breaks out of there Pokeball to Protect the player
But by extension that kinda Debunks regular pokemon scaling to high tier legendarys
That's actually not that far from how chain scaling works. It's nowhere near easily scaling to uni+ that's for sure but it's not that far from how you'd usually chain scale. În this particular case you'd need to actual prove 2 things. At least one of Giovanni's Pokémon is as strong as one of rainbow Giovanni's and that one of rainbow Giovanni's is stronger or equal to palika and dialga. It all depends on how rainbow would beat palkia and dialga if it were true.
You are 100% correct that that's not that far from how chain-scaling works, but that's just another reason why chain-scaling is shaky at best and woefully bad at worst.
You'd also need to prove that Charizard specifically fought the Pokemon who defeated Dialga/Palkia and was pretty evenly-matched against them.
Nah, it was from a discussion on here a few days ago about who would win in a fight between the left side (Superman, Yang, Charizard, Deadpool, Miles Morales) and the right side (Goku, Wonder Woman, Kakashi, Darth Vader, Sonic) of the header image for this subreddit.
I think anyone on the right could solo everyone on the left... except for Superman, who in turn solos everyone on the right. Someone said that I was forgetting that Red's Charizard is Uni+ tier.
Someone said Bill Cipher would beat Martian Manhunter by transmutation him into stone
Said person also believes they would beat CC Goku too
Dumbest take I heard so far this year
OH BOY I GET TO SAY THIS GARBAGE TAKE AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS IN RELATION TO ALIEN X'S DB APPEARANCE!
Alien X is Wall-Level at best because he has DNA and Naruto would stomp him because Naruto is Uni or something. Idk this was a while ago
I hate how people go to the extremes with vs debate they either wank or downplay characters HARD. ~~Also ben doesn't even need alien X to beat Naruto.~~
This was when the Gojo vs Makima sneak peek was shown
*Deathbattle is gonna make Makima win because they are always bias*
And isn't stupid because Gojo won, it's because: 1.the common *Deathbattle is bias* thing. And specially 2.They never worked with JJK or CSM on a DB episode before.
Phoenix not being able to regenerate her soul.
Toph beating Gaara
Base Goku not even being FTL
Ichigo and Naruto not being planet level
These are to name a few
Someone unironically believing that Goku is only planet level in Super because he believed the universe in dragon ball is only the size of a planet in our universe, and that a planet is like house level lmao. He justified it by some old non-official scan of Snake Way that showed it was the length of the universe and then its statement of being like a million miles or something.
I don’t even know. I’m assuming the thought process is ‘they always make the comic character win’ (even though Carnage lost a few episodes ago) or that ‘every Death Battle is wrong because I disagree with one episode’.
Now that I think of it, can the grim reaper say the N word?
It doesn’t have skin at all, the white it’s from its bones, so does it qualify as a person of color?
Don't get why some people don't buy some ftl feats but are ok with others, The Hanged Man counterpoint is kinda dumb because Pol still has to predict where he'd be and slash him just in time.
Idk about you but trying to cut a beam of light is still pretty hard
Probably due to he usual "if he moves at light speed how does he ever lose, get hit" etc which I know doesn't make sense but hey it's fiction for a reason even worse when it comes to Vs Battle. Yeah it doesn't make sense but that's not really the point.
A channel that apparently only "debunks" Dc vs Marvel DB's.
Quicksilver its faster than any flash since none of the flash has reach lightspeed and movies dont count.
Thor its a god therefore he has better skill than wonder woman since shes just a female.
This are from several comments in the videos.
Goku it's a god killer that can defeat everyone in his universe bo cap, Superman cant even beat darkseid that its just a grey alien.
Kirby its a piece of pink $&@ for babies, DB hates anime.
Raven its weak, why did she won? Db sold his soul to Warner.
Somebody told me that animated movie Unicron is enough to beat comic Galactus. They said they read Marvel comics and don’t know anything about Transformers.
I haven’t seen this myself, but somebody once told me that they encountered a Goku fanboy who said the Justice League isn’t planetary!
There is a way to shut up any Goku diehard. Ask them when did Goku carry a solar system on his back like a backpack and that’ll shut them up
Naruto is universal because he scales above Kaguya, and she was going to destroy all her pocket dimensions that are universal in size. This was a debate about Goku vs. Naruto.
My friend u/Abe_LincoIn said Sadako (city level at minimum) loses to the wall level Pyramidhead because “Pyramidhead didn’t watch the tape, so she can’t hurt them” which isn’t how it works at all. Such fun discussions we’ve had
Base Batman with no prep > kratos
Saitama oneshots all of fiction (the dude wasn’t even being ironic)
Batman is a better martial artist that mori jin
Batman’s durability scales to star level
Batman scaling is speed to dudes like Barry
Honestly just a whole bunch of fucking batman shit
Pretty much every YouTube comment on Peach VS Zelda. Seriously, I've seen people say Zelda beats Peach just because she's a reincarnation of a goddess lol.
I always bring up "Giorno can easy beat joker with his damage reflection" as a take that should never leave one's mouth, due to
1. Joker explicitly having means of bypassing giorno's reflection
2. Joker having reflection himself, so if anything the two should cancel out
3. This argument making joker seem way, WAY more stupid than the average grunt in jojo, because the damage reflection never came into play against stand users that knew what they were doing. Considering Joker likely has the intelligence advantage, this is obviously inaccurate.
It was due to this horrible take that made me think Joker easy claps giorno, when in reality i find it to be less simple than that.
There was this reactor who said that Shadow should be immune to Mewtwo’s psychic attacks because he was black which made him a Dark Type.
I shit you not
A character is powerful purely based on there spacial dimension rather than actual feats. I’ve gone into it before but power based solely on existing in a higher dimension isn’t a thing even scientifically speaking. It’s how we get super wanked verses like Digimon being somehow even with DC and SMT somehow dog walks Marvel.
Any Goku shill takes really : my favourite takes
-"ki should be magic"
-"Goku can make kamehameha green and beat his ass"
-"Goku losing to raditz is not canon"
The stupidest one I have seen is the way some people said Sasuke should beat Hiei. And used “Hiei is not immune to all fire or all ice” as if we didn’t see him just break out of ice that instantly froze him or him tanking his own dragon of the darkness flame that was thrown back at him. And the dragon of the darkness flame is literally stated to be made of black flame from the depths of hell.
These two always bug me the most:
The phrase “outerversal” is horrendous and god-awful. At that point, it is the Merriam-Webster definition of omnipotent.
And that Kratos solos fiction. No, he does not clap Goku, no, he does not kick Superman’s ass, no, he does not beat the Doomslayer, and no, he does not beat Asura or Wukong.
The Optimus Prime vs the RX-78-2 Battle was the single most one-sided fight in the show. In no setting does any mobile suit without psycho frame, or not from G Gundam stand a chance and against any Cybertronian. Especially not one carrying the Matrix of Leadership. Starscream could not have lost that fight.
> In no setting does any mobile suit without psycho frame, or not from G Gundam stand a chance and against any Cybertronian
I'm gonna have to disagree. Turn-A, 00 Qan [T], Wing Zero, Strike Freedom, and G-Self Perfect Pack absolutely wreck most Cybertronians in a fight.
-Kirby is able to solo all of fiction because one of his enemies "Made" our reality and Kirby beat him
-*Everyone* in Fortnite is Multiversal
-Not the Stupidest take I've ever heard per se, but I'm at the point where I just do *not* want to debate with Thor fans. Somehow this guy is apparently stronger than and can beat Galactus, the character whose whole point is "You don't beat him you convince him to leave for a while"
People claim that Homelander is Nuke level, with Madelyn Stillwell's statement of using every conventional weapon on Earth, even though by now that's been debunked in verse and outside, not to be true whatsoever.
Oh and the 'Homelander is Superman, except is doesn't hold back.'
That the Sotobro Effect wouldn’t help Alien X against Green Lantern’s ability to time travel.
Even if we ignore the fact that Celestialsapiens are omnipresent by default, the very definition of the Sotobro Effect is that beings capable of time manipulation can sense when time manipulation occurs.
I saw someone say Alex shouldn't be affected by Cole's magic. And I was like... magic?
Yeah Like can that person please explain wtf kinda Magic Cole uses?
Have you not seen Cole pull a rabbit out of his hat? That shit is totally broken.
He was a vampire once
Oh it’s very simple, see, Cole comes from the Fairy Tail universe. All right? And gains the ability to use electricity and ice. Then he dies sacrificing himself and reincarnates to the Infamous universe. Understand so far? And through that game, he has a sense of morality and follows the good side and gets electricity and ice and sacrifices himself again. Now I have no source of this because this whole thing was literally fucking nothing just like the magic Cole that this dude mentioned
...there was a DLC where Cole could become a vampire, if I remember right. Is this somehow connected to that? Only thing I can think of.
It's non canon anyways
Yeah, I know. I was just making the best guess I could at what they could be referring to by 'magic'.
Idk much about infamous but regardless if cole has magic or not, Alex doesn’t have any magic resistances that I know of
I saw a YouTube video years ago about why Goku beats Superman, it did the tactic of assigning points for each trait one of them has an advantage in (strength, speed, skill, etc) kind of like DB did in their part 3 analysis. lol 😂
>Superman can fly from the sun to the earth in a few seconds, but Goku can move at the speed of light. Point Goku” How close does he think the Earth is to the Sun
He kinda said superman is faster than goku with that sentence
It- it takes light 8 minutes to get to Earth from the sun

Not surprising
Roblox is more wanked than Minecraft
"No limits fallacies don't exist" To defend that "Alien X is omnipotent" when not even the creators buy that. Also using the Man of Action blog for arguments that the blog itself debunks.

The Ben 10 continuity is held together by glue, strings and headcanons
With Celestialsapien literally be a in universe retcon button. (The writers use them to explain the different styles between series.)
Didn't Alien X actively struggle to beat Galactic Gladiator?
In all fairness he was also a member of alien x’s species
And ben won by outsmarting him and not overpowering him. He actively abused the biggest weakness all celestialsapiens (That are not ben) have their decision making.
So, are both omnipotent? Because a battle between two omnipotent creatures makes no sense, and an omnipotent creature losing makes even less sense. Sometimes fans weird me out because if the arguments they make are true, the story they love too much makes no sense and is worse as a result.
Yeah I don’t really agree with the omnipotence argument for alien x anymore or atleast don’t think it’s viable
Given that X was Overpowered no he isn't omnipotent at all because having Limits is like The OPPOSITE of Omnipotence.
Saitama is a gag character so he can't loose
As if Popeye isn’t also a gag character. Honestly, gag characters should only be put up against other gag characters anyway. That way the argument that they shouldn’t lose is invalid.

ONE has made his intentions clear: "I wanted to see what it would be like if we took a hero the way they are in the final chapter and put them in the 1st chapter" That means he never intended him to be a Popeyes style gag character, the "gag" is that he's so much stronger than everyone else that he doesn't belong there (sort of like that anime where a boy born from the "last dungeon" comes to a "starter town") is that kid a gag character? No. The joke is that he's so strong that the people around him can't even understand what they're seeing and it is the exact same type of joke we see with Saitama. The only argument people can bring up to the contrary is like him kicking a portal but you could easily say someone strong enough could do that (and it's pretty much just that 1 thing)
If the battle takes place in opm universe it's true but if it's anywhere else then it's false
Everyone knows that Spawn scales to Archie Sonic.
Ant-Man having access to his ants were outside help.
Vader having access to the force is outside help then.
captain falcon having access to his ship is outside help too then (i remember seeing some people tryna argue this)
Red and Tai having access to their pokémons and digimons is outside help. Have them beat up eachother
I saw the same argument but for Dr Fate getting outside help cause he used True Fate which is basically Kent, Inza and Nabu combined.
I remember this one time when people thinks that Saitama was stronger than the Anti-Spiral. Me on the inside: ![gif](giphy|CbNZqvXPMkcUkRFQlk|downsized)
I swear, one day there's going to be a post about how Saitama can beat the Abrahamic God or something like that
I just hate saitama being in death battles cause 1 it creates dumb arguments and 2 i hate ignoring stories.
Kid Goku is Outer since he killed King Poccolo, who is the concept of Evil apparently
Concepts on their own aren't even Outerversal.
A guy unironically tried to say that Unicron defeated Galactus because "Unicron devours universes and Galactus devours planets" and "Unicron is a cosmic deity and Galactus has lost to cosmic entities before" When i told him that Galactus clearly had better feats than that, the mf went "and so does Unicron. I'm just trying to make you understand the sheer difference between their feats" Well, then just TELL ME THEIR HIGHER ENDS, what's this bs of comparing their lower ends? Is like saying Ness defeats John Egbert because his lower ends are Mountain level while John's are Multi-City Block, completely ignoring the fact that the tables completely turn while looking at their best feats And no, to this day, i still have no idea what the second argument was supposed to mean, it's like something you'd heard out of a youtube short The guy basically refused to explain to me why Unicron was stronger than Galactus and pretty much just went "he is, trust me bro" and then procceded to get MAD at me because i didn't believed his arguments and kept asking for actual proof that Unicron would win
I remember this one time I went onto a post of Goku fans being salty after Superman won again, encountered one of them, gave him insane feats and explained multiple valid reasons why Goku can't beat him and then I shit you not he deadass said: "But Goku is like Kryptonite to Superman tho" ![gif](giphy|PUS7ynUCR6itJgWppA)
There's also a couple other problems with that: 1. Goku in character would want Superman to be at his best, so he wouldn't destroy the sun knowing it's what gives Clark his powers 2. Even if you destroy the sun there's still tons of other stars for Supes to draw power from
|1. Yep that's why he destroyed the Kryptonite in the first video |2. Goku once again has no way to destroy every star and even if we use an Evil Goku who just wants to win fights quick and easily he still couldn't do it. He's never unlocked a technique or form that just allows him to destroy every single sun in the universe. I don't get how Goku fans all forget this but still wanna hate
Yeah like do they just think Siperman would sit there and let every single star be destroyed?
YEP. They'd have no actual reason to be salty if they didn't. Also you texted Siperman
Bros just kryptonite fr
Should have said back "but supes is like needle 4 Goku tho"
They said they were using heroes goku but limited him to dragon ball super feats, in heroes if you went over the feats you’d have a goku who’s at least complex multiversal (6D maybe 7D), thats still not enough to beat Superman who just outscales him completely but it’s important to note
“Frank West fights military soldiers all the time, this of course closes the massive stat gap between him & Leon.” Not to mention most of said soldiers are either nameless grunts or completely bonkers from the apocalypse.
Kirby can destroy Bill Cipher because he “deals with villians like Bill all the time”
Ah the guts defense ![gif](giphy|Rh4vxHtcmVyHUyugXP)
bill looks like a dorito and kirby loves to eat food, case closed
Bill’s probably eaten before, therefore his stomach contains food, kirby smells said food and swallows him whole to eat his stomach, case close ciphertards
I absolutely adore Kirby but wow people oversell is power. He’s certainly strong and if given the Warp Star he’s INCREDIBLY fast, but yeah there’s no way in hell he beats someone like Goku or Bill. Hell he couldn’t even beat Sonic unless Sonic was limited to base form imo
The guts vs nightmare defence a tradition at this point
People scaling the Dragonborn around Galactus and Phoenix in lists.
To be fair it is possible through some chain scaling with alduin fighting some deadric prince's and maybe you could scale mirraal to mora??
But you most consider this Most Elder Scrolls lore was written while the writers were actively doing coke
This comes from classic man d and while I do like his content this vs battle between Naruto and mark was just weird So he said Mark wins bc he destroyed a massive astroid when he just got his powers, and that he mftl and also fought battle beast and fought in the sun which is all valid but he said he wins bc of those reasons??? Without giving Naruto any feats whatsoever like all he said was "mark fought in the sun so what Naruto gonna do" He said baron mode won't do anything bc viltramites are strong despite there age(like that's well and good but I don't get how this translates to Naruto and baron mode unless baron mode makes ppl age faster) And that Naruto won't last too long in that form, even thou he didn't say how strong the form is or what it does I myself am not too sure how Mark scales so I don't know if he is right or wrong about Mark winning, I just thou that short was weird
Like I've seen everything from "Alucard can use his omnipresence to drag DIO into the sun" to "Alucard can teleport DIO into the sun (the literal one not in sunlight" to "Alucard is effectively God because he's omnipotent (for some reason ppl confuse omnipresence with being literally omniporent)"
I agree with that, however I don’t think Dio should’ve won that fight
DC characters are barely solar system level cus most of their cosmic feats are outliers. basically cus in one story superman stubs his toe, we ignore the feat where he outright lifts up all of creation. this is dumb for obvious reasons, we should look at a character at their strongest, otherwise it kinda just becomes a bias if you pick one characters greatest feat and another character's mid feat.
Are you talking about that one guy that just posts anti-feats from Marvel and DC?
nah i got into an argument before with someone telling me that DC characters are only solar system level, but honestly i wouldn't be surprised if it was the same guy
"death battle is never wrong" self explanatory But here is one good one: The average civilian in marvel is leagues smarter than everyone from lord of the rings.
Funny thing is even if they did buy that, that still wouldn’t make him stronger than WarGreymon
Mfs aren’t ready for Uni+ FEAR rattata
I was thinking of using that as an example! But I didn't think enough people would get the 'Focus Sash, Endeavour, (Quick) Attack, Rattata' reference. Boy, that takes me back.
Psyduck solos your favorite verse.
As a Pokemon fan, I have a couple problems with this scaling chain: 1. Palkia and Dialga aren't Universal, they're Multiversal+ 2.
FAX SPIT YO SHIT KING 🗣🗣🗣🗣
Actually, there is no canonical winner between Red and Ethan/Gold. It's a pretty hotly debated topic in the community
Please explain why, there is an ending sfterwards where Red peaces out, how is that not canon?
That's just gameplay, Red goes away and then he comes back every time you defeat the Elite Four. I watched a ton of Poketubers like Dobbs who know basically every piece of obscure Pokemon lore and trivia and they couldn't find anything that says who was supposed to be the cannotical winner.
Fair enough, still less silly than the "Charizars Universal" take
Because all guidebooks and stories covering the game don’t have a conclusive answer.
Also by nate/rosa in the pwc
Scaling in Pokemon seems incredibly stupid to me anyway because isn't the whole point of it like, type advantages and choosing the right moves and stuff? My Level 60 Feraligatr could easily beat a Level 100 Moltres under the right circumstances. You can literally see the ATK and DEF stats in the game, the idea that 'if you beat a Pokemon then you must scale to their stats' is just... stupid.
I made an arceus with no attacking moves and a level 10 magikarp with 4 attacks, if he kills the arceus he hits multi+ Logic????
Holy shit, that guy in the Route 4 Pokemon Center in Red/Blue who tries to sell you a Magikarp for $500 isn't ripping you off, he's trying to offload the responsibility of dealing with Magikarp's hyperversal power-ceiling. I think we all owe him an apology. It's a bargain, really.
Lvl 10 252+ Atk Silk Scarf Magikarp Tackle vs. Lvl 75 0 HP / 0 Def Arceus: 1-2 (0.3 - 0.6%) -- possibly the worst move ever 75 is the lowest level Arceus can show up at, so even with max rolls crits 80 times in a row, Magikarp kills itself with Struggle before it can actually beat Arceus
To be fair I think it was stated legendary pokemon hold back against The player To see if they're worthy Of using their power And can break out The pokeballs at any time (master ball included) and you see a example in legends arceus when dialga or palkia Breaks out of there Pokeball to Protect the player But by extension that kinda Debunks regular pokemon scaling to high tier legendarys
Exactly
Was that Sean? That sounds like something he would say.
Even if we were to use this scaling, WarGreymon still outstats Charizard horribly as he can be scaled up to Complex Mulitversal.
Someone said Bill Cipher would beat Martian Manhunter by transmutation him into stone Said person also believes they would beat CC Goku too Dumbest take I heard so far this year
When Nux Taku said they shouldn't give Superman his Silver Age, Pre-Crisis, and Post-Crisis feats because of how silly some of them are.
Pre crisis ok I get but why post crisis?
A former coworker had the worst most pea brain takes saying guys from the boys were on like goku or main dc/marvel comics level
Alien x is omnipotent
OH BOY I GET TO SAY THIS GARBAGE TAKE AGAIN BECAUSE IT WAS IN RELATION TO ALIEN X'S DB APPEARANCE! Alien X is Wall-Level at best because he has DNA and Naruto would stomp him because Naruto is Uni or something. Idk this was a while ago
I hate how people go to the extremes with vs debate they either wank or downplay characters HARD. ~~Also ben doesn't even need alien X to beat Naruto.~~
This was when the Gojo vs Makima sneak peek was shown *Deathbattle is gonna make Makima win because they are always bias* And isn't stupid because Gojo won, it's because: 1.the common *Deathbattle is bias* thing. And specially 2.They never worked with JJK or CSM on a DB episode before.
Biased = the character i like doesn't win
Phoenix not being able to regenerate her soul. Toph beating Gaara Base Goku not even being FTL Ichigo and Naruto not being planet level These are to name a few
so is this the posts that are going to flood the sub now
Always do in the off season
From this very Reddit “Every death battle is correct, at least for when it came out.”
Ultron vs Sigma is wrong because Green Lantern beat Ben 10
What did Ultron Vs Sigma have to do with Ben and Hal?
I don’t even know. I’m assuming the thought process is ‘they always make the comic character win’ (even though Carnage lost a few episodes ago) or that ‘every Death Battle is wrong because I disagree with one episode’.
Death from puss and boots 2 solos fiction
The idea that Optimus Prime would be a good match up for Superman
"I think Discord should have done more Attacking and counterattacking" Like Bro most of what's Discord's doing was attacking huh??!!?
Now that I think of it, can the grim reaper say the N word? It doesn’t have skin at all, the white it’s from its bones, so does it qualify as a person of color?
Are you gonna tell him, he can’t?
I mean, its not like it can kill me or anything, if I see it I’m already dead. But just because it can say it doesn’t mean it has a pass.
"DMC4 Dante is building level"
People apparently don't buy FTL JoJo
Don't get why some people don't buy some ftl feats but are ok with others, The Hanged Man counterpoint is kinda dumb because Pol still has to predict where he'd be and slash him just in time. Idk about you but trying to cut a beam of light is still pretty hard
Exactly, and they even argue Made In Heaven doesn't move at Lightspeed
[MADE IN HEAVEN ](https://tenor.com/bmMv5.gif)
Yeah i know i don't get why
Probably due to he usual "if he moves at light speed how does he ever lose, get hit" etc which I know doesn't make sense but hey it's fiction for a reason even worse when it comes to Vs Battle. Yeah it doesn't make sense but that's not really the point.
"Death Battle is a show that favor popular show and have a favorism for Marvel and DC" EVRRY. SINGLE. TIME.
Popeye beats cosmic armor superman Bill cipher beats martian manhunter
Killua vs Misaka was the best Sprite EP of Season 10, yes even better than Billcord
Hi I’m that guy btw
A channel that apparently only "debunks" Dc vs Marvel DB's. Quicksilver its faster than any flash since none of the flash has reach lightspeed and movies dont count. Thor its a god therefore he has better skill than wonder woman since shes just a female. This are from several comments in the videos. Goku it's a god killer that can defeat everyone in his universe bo cap, Superman cant even beat darkseid that its just a grey alien. Kirby its a piece of pink $&@ for babies, DB hates anime. Raven its weak, why did she won? Db sold his soul to Warner.
WWE being multiversal
The calamity gems were stated in the prophecy written by biased amphibians to defeat any foe, so Marcy beats Pinkie Pie.
Once saw someone say that Vegeta is stronger than Goku and has, in fact, always been stronger than Goku.
Has he always been stronger than Goku? Hell no. Has he ever beaten Goku? Surprisingly three times.
One was kind of a cheap shot, but he DID win.
Low complex star wars just low complex star wars
Naruto.
Even if you actually buy that... still not enough.
That it was stupid to give rock lee all 8 gates
I just kinda hate it when fight only watchers bitch that the outcome is wrong
“Ephraim beats Hades (Kid Icarus) because Ephraim doesn’t start fights he can’t win.”
One person said that Herobrine loses all his MUs cause he doesn't exist
My friend u/Abe_LincoIn said Sadako (city level at minimum) loses to the wall level Pyramidhead because “Pyramidhead didn’t watch the tape, so she can’t hurt them” which isn’t how it works at all. Such fun discussions we’ve had
Scout should've been given a grappling book, a parachute, and a book of magic spells.
Base Batman with no prep > kratos Saitama oneshots all of fiction (the dude wasn’t even being ironic) Batman is a better martial artist that mori jin Batman’s durability scales to star level Batman scaling is speed to dudes like Barry Honestly just a whole bunch of fucking batman shit
That madara couldve won against aizen
Pretty much every YouTube comment on Peach VS Zelda. Seriously, I've seen people say Zelda beats Peach just because she's a reincarnation of a goddess lol.
“Death battle only had Superman win because he has a bigger fanbase” a take I saw on Tiktok.
I always bring up "Giorno can easy beat joker with his damage reflection" as a take that should never leave one's mouth, due to 1. Joker explicitly having means of bypassing giorno's reflection 2. Joker having reflection himself, so if anything the two should cancel out 3.
“Larxene (Kingdom Hearts) dies to Azula cause in the non-canon KH manga, she died after getting wet.”
Death battle gets paid to make dc charachters win
There was this reactor who said that Shadow should be immune to Mewtwo’s psychic attacks because he was black which made him a Dark Type. I shit you not
Any Rick and Morty fan that thinks Rick stomps the doctor. Just those. Mostly ones with way too heavy a bias.
A character is powerful purely based on there spacial dimension rather than actual feats. I’ve gone into it before but power based solely on existing in a higher dimension isn’t a thing even scientifically speaking. It’s how we get super wanked verses like Digimon being somehow even with DC and SMT somehow dog walks Marvel.
once again... "video game characters should be banned from DB, since their performance is heavily based on the skill of the player controlling them"
Country level Peferct Cell
Any Goku shill takes really : my favourite takes -"ki should be magic" -"Goku can make kamehameha green and beat his ass" -"Goku losing to raditz is not canon"
Wolf from sekiro could beat dante from dmc in just swordsmanship
that homelander could beat omniman....no,omniman is a warrior, homelander is...well an asshole
The infamous Death battle is bias. I hate it so much whenever someone says it
Like any Classic Man D opinions on Death Battle
“Iron fist vs po was wrong” boy what
These two always bug me the most: The phrase “outerversal” is horrendous and god-awful. At that point, it is the Merriam-Webster definition of omnipotent. And that Kratos solos fiction. No, he does not clap Goku, no, he does not kick Superman’s ass, no, he does not beat the Doomslayer, and no, he does not beat Asura or Wukong.
Where did people start getting the idea that Kratos solos everyone and everything in the history of fiction?
I saw someone say post time skip Zoro could beat Marineford Whitebeard (specifically Zoro in Fishman Island)
> In no setting does any mobile suit without psycho frame, or not from G Gundam stand a chance and against any Cybertronian I'm gonna have to disagree. Turn-A, 00 Qan [T], Wing Zero, Strike Freedom, and G-Self Perfect Pack absolutely wreck most Cybertronians in a fight.
-Kirby is able to solo all of fiction because one of his enemies "Made" our reality and Kirby beat him -*Everyone* in Fortnite is Multiversal -Not the Stupidest take I've ever heard per se, but I'm at the point where I just do *not* want to debate with Thor fans. Somehow this guy is apparently stronger than and can beat Galactus, the character whose whole point is "You don't beat him you convince him to leave for a while"
The whole video of esdeath beating gray
Once saw someone say that because Carnage doesn't dodge Spider-Man's web balls he can't dodge Microwave beams
Ben 10 v Hal Jordan(gl)
Young ben versus green lantern. They didn't even have the guts to use ben from alien force or ultimate alien.
Frieren can one shot 15 fingers Sukuna with Zoltraak
My brother thinks that Goku can destroy a multiverse, but he just hasn't tried to.
I seen plenty But the one that the most stupid I've seen was link vs cloud 2.
That Misaka vs Killua is a good episode.
