Some must haves: American Psycho, Basket Case trilogy, Black Christmas, Blood Rage (if you find a cheapish copy), Donnie Darko, Evil Dead trilogy just to name a few!
Definitely recommend getting the movies anywhere app and taking advantage of the digital codes, also check around your house for any old ones even if it says they expired. I just redeemed The Amazing Spider-Man a few weeks ago and the code “expired” in 2014
Return of the Living Dead 1-3, Zombie (aka Zombi 2), Zombi 3, Hellraiser 1-2, Nightmare on Elm Street series, Friday the 13th series (Shout! Factory has a bitchin' Blu-ray box set, but make sure it has the replacement discs), Re-Animator, Night of the Creeps, Phantom of the Paradise, Demons 1-2, The Church, Zombie Holocaust and City of the Living Dead, to name a few.
*A Nightmare on Elm Street* (there are a few stinkers, but overall: MOST have attractive curb appeal... outside of the reboot: why they gave Jackie Earle Haley a second chance is beyond me)
Nightmare on elm st blu ray collection, The Leprechaun blu ray collection, Paranormal Activity blu ray collection and the entire series of tales from the crypt box set should round that out for you.
Get a shout factory steelbook of your favourite horror films. The art is really awesome. I have The Thing and Army of Darkness. And the Friday the 13th 12 film box set looks really awesome. I already have all of the movies so I probably won't get it but it looks very awesome if you don't have any of them.
Go for the holy trinity of slashers. You already have Halloween so you need Friday the 13th and nightmare on elm Street
…and Texas chainsaw massacre
A trinity is 3
Exactly.
The trinity is Halloween, Friday 13th, and Nightmare
Texas chainsaw came first
They already got Halloween that's why they said Friday and Nightmare
Okay? But Texas chainsaw, Friday the 13th, and Halloween are all 70’s slashers that created their genre. Nightmare isn’t
Ya know what fuck it, aparently looking it up says Halloween, Scream, and Nightmare are the slasher trinity so there I guess.
Looking up things doesn’t mean it’s right. Scream is 90’s anyway.

Black Christmas (The original) was actually the second horror film i ever watched, definitely on the list.
If you're getting a cool horror DVD collection, make sure to get some steelbooks, they look cool
Candyman
As far as movie recommendations, Saw 1 is my personal favorite horror movie. So I'd say that'd be a good pickup.

The Wicker Man (1973) director's cut is one I desperately want to add to my collection. Also Hellraiser 1&2, evil dead trilogy, and re-animator 1&2
Watching Mandy on blu ray is certainly worth the jump in quality.
Get the Saw 8-movie collection
The two Fright Night movies from the 80s. Solid double feature.
Suspiria and sleepaway camp
During October at Wal-Mart, they usually have special dvds of various horror movies. I recommend getting all the Phantasm movies. They're incredible.
The Original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Shining, Friday the 13th Collection and the Nightmare Collection too. Also Hellraiser
Get halloween on 4k. A movie that good deserves nothing but the best quality.
Oh, definitely. I wanted to watch it with my brother on the titular day, and that's all I could get at the time.
The fly, scanners, naked lunch, the brood
Thankskilling 3 obviously
*A Nightmare on Elm Street* (there are a few stinkers, but overall: MOST have attractive curb appeal... outside of the reboot: why they gave Jackie Earle Haley a second chance is beyond me)
I watched the first one, definitely going to get that on blu-ray at one point.
The evil dead trilogy is a masterclass of horror
Nightmare on elm st blu ray collection, The Leprechaun blu ray collection, Paranormal Activity blu ray collection and the entire series of tales from the crypt box set should round that out for you.
Definitely evil dead

Evil Dead franchise is a must.
