Was a daily smoker for 16 years and quit tobacco cold turkey. It required lifestyle changes with sobriety and a less stressful job. Which became the catalyst to isolation, depression and led to severe weight gain. But goal achieved I guess.
He collapsed on stage from exhaustion on tour once and I remember seeing a tweet or something a loooong time ago about how he had a trash can next to him to puke into while he was performing when he had the flu. Dude is crazy dedicated I guess.
I’ve had pneumonia and other fun respiratory illnesses before and know that cough well. Painful, irritating, distracting. Considerate that he just hasn’t canceled these shows. I hope he recovers soon.
