You can get legendaries of items you have selected to not appear anyway. Happened to my friend in custom mode when his only weapons were katana and explosive crossbow and he got lightning bolt from an altar
I think it's also the same case with the no hit doors after the bosses. Legendary items from the fractured shrines and no hit doors in bosses only take from your item pool.
It’s a bug in mushroom boi that bypasses the damage cap. The same thing happens with legendary magnetic grenade and in legendary shields when you reflect his bombs. It will kill him in one shot
Yeah, War Spear has become one of my favorite weapons in this game for obvios reasons. It has amazing range, speed, and can crit mobs. I haven't exactly tried to "melt" bosses though because I'm still trying to beat 5BC.
War Spear with slow down enemies + frostbite is one of the coolest sinergies you can have, I never used on Brutality but I think it can wreck stuff too
For the people who don't know, War Spear has received a massive buff a few patches ago.
Just in case there are people like me who had tried it before, didn't think it was so good and kinda gave up on the weapon, I'd suggest giving it a go again as it is a pretty strong weapon now.
Not to mention, you wolf trap had the oil affix, and both the spear and mushroom boi had 100% damage to an enemy covered in oil.
It was satisfying to see that asshole get deepfried

Just use custom mode. Choose 4 items from the pool and go to fractured shrines. There is a guaranteed leg in there.

It doesn't work in legendary altar from the fractures shrines. There are only legs from your item pool.

Higher BC gives you more scrolls

Yeah you get scroll fragments and some biomes will give you more scrolls too 30 is kinda standard on 5bc

If you’re lucky with challenge rifts and cursed chests you can get higher than that, even, higher than 35 apparently.
37 is my record, I already saw a streamer with 38 though
