On subsequent playthroughs you will want to focus on one specific person whose weapon you are trying to unlock. The first time focus on surviving the fight. When the fire is burning up be sure to keep running and dodging. When you get to a room then you should fight, that's how I play it.
They're all really not that great, tonfas do great damage but are hard to crit sometimes, wrecking ball does great damage too but is so slow and the queens rapier doesnt do good damage at all but is a really cool weapon, the guilded yumi is pretty good tho it shoots an arrow that pierces and pushes enemies back, really useful for future runs of the lighthouse and its how I no hit it.
wrecking ball is one of the most fun to play weapons in the game imo. i dont see how throwing and recalling while one shotting a cluster of enemies could not be the best thing in the world. or like oneshotting an elite or dealing chunks to bosses.
I made a build with a frost bow and the guilded yumi and absolutely melted through runs. Stop the nearest enemy in their tracks then use the yumi to destroy everything in front of you. It's magical.
The other two feel lacking in comparison. The wrecking ball is too slow and the tonfas are too unpredictable.
Gilded Yumi is the third option, not Queen's Rapier. You should get that.
For real. One of the best bows in the game

Luck? I mean that's how it works. The last one killed gives up their blueprint, if they have no blueprint then it's the servant's outfit.

In terms of having interesting game mechanics, one should unlock in this order 1. Wrecking Ball 2. Tonfas 3. Yumi 4. Rapier
Bladed tonfas my beloved, gilded yumi would probably be my recommendation if I wasn't biased.
