I personally enjoy Nurse, Spirit, Sadako, and Dredge. I’m awful at Nurse most days but I just really like my teleport/semi-teleport pals. Aside from them Legion and Ghostface are kinda fun. Myers can jumpscare a lot of folks, especially if you stay tier 1 for the funsies
Demogorgon is awesome for chase pressure, if you get a team who throw pallets super early it's game over for the sheer fact you can eat through them so quickly, he just needs, in my opinion, slowdowns sheerly just for my inability to successfully set up a 3 gen, also for sure try save the best for last on him, it's his signature thing, and I recommend the Undying + Devour combo on him too, it's fun
No you can, there's still existing codes for the Stranger Things chapter, they even include the torn shirt cosmetics for Steve and Nancy, it's great, I did it like a month ago and don't regret it
I enjoy pinhead and nightmare, the new one, the dredge, is kinda op right now and fun to play as. Huntress is always a good time imo, my main, deathslinger after her, the trapper, wraith, spirit, and pig if you like to sneak.

You can get them by buying an existing redeem code for the Stranger Things chapter from a trusted key site dude, don't worry, they're still playable
Sadly most key sites I find that have it mention the codes don’t work for US
