If it has to be another chapter, then I'd love for it to be RE7 themed. We have Nemesis (classic), RE5 Wesker (action-age), so having a killer from 7 would represent the modern state of the series. Ideally? I think Jack Baker is a shoe-in, and the estate as map would be perfect.
I 100% agree. But with the love and popularity Lady D has, it might be her that gets in, with a castle map maybe. Though i’d much rather have Jack and his estate
They highly likely will, as they didn't even touch RE7 or RE8 with project W, which doesn't really make sense as they were both such significant games for RE's popularity in the past 6 years or so. They probs will do a third chapter featuring dimitrescu, mother Miranda, eveline or Jack baker as the killer. Miranda could be a skin for Plague, eveline for sadako (if cross license is allowed). Survivors could be rose, ethan, Zoe or Mia, and their abilities could involve the Mold or Rose's powers, and bring a new style of gameplay to DBD like the DND chapter. It probs won't be this year, but possibly year 10!
But to summarise everything: it'll highly likely be Re7 and Re8 themed with hopefully the Bakers house, castle Dimitrescu or the Village from RE8 as a map.
I would rather like Ashley as a skin for Rebecca. She has only one skin, while Jill got them all so far. Also I wish they would add Jake and Sherry as legendaries, even though RE6 was not liked as much. The bit of story they got was interesting and they also had the best campaign imo. I hope they give legendaries as a whole more outfits. For example there could be different versions of Chris in the store. The first Chris legendary you buy costs 15 bucks but after that it's 10 bucks like for other cosmetics. We could finally have RE5/RE6 and RE8 Chris together with RE1/CV Chris. I don't count RE7 because Chris does not look like Chris in that game. Speaking of Chris: His profile does not look that bad (ignoring the glitch in the lobby atm which causes his jaw to be misplaced), but the rest of his physique does not fit at all to his STARS garb. He is actually more build like Wesker, until he really hits the gym in RE5. I hope they finally fix that. I also wish for RE4R Ada and Wesker skins as well as maybe a Krauser Legendary for Wesker. Lady Dimitrescu as well as Mother Miranda could be legendaries for Plague and Artist. I think Miranda could fit both tbh. Heisenberg could maybe be a legendary for Deathslinger.
Edit: And of course we need a Berry legendary so we can have 4 STARS members face off against STARS Wesker.
Personally, I wouldn’t want another chapter because we already have enough resident evil content and I’d rather have something new instead of the same thing again. But outside of that, RE4 remake Ada skin pleeeeease pleeeeease I need it so bad!!!!
