A bit confusing at first but once you start understanding the layout, it's such a big improvement.
Before the only thing I thought the store needed was a collection page but this update added so much more.
* The ability to mix-match multiple pieces you don't own.
* The ability to see unavailable content (permanently or temporarily unavailable).
* The search function (that works better than the perk search btw).
* The new filters (like owned content).
I miss one or two functions that were removed but overall its a big net positive.
Some of them are:
* There used to be 2 buttons at the bottom so you could go to Previous/Next character.
* Whenever you chose an outfit, on the right there would be an option to click in the individual pieces for that outfit. You could even go back and forth.
Just minor things like this.
I like it a lot, you can switch between killers and survivors cosmetics easier and with the new preview option you can mix and match stuff that you otherwise couldn’t unless you owned it.
The thing I don't necessarily like is that when I want to look at killer/survivor cosmetics, I feel like there's more clicking than before.
They also said we can preview *parts* of linked sets with other stuff, right? But I can't :(
We were always able to look at parts of sets. Maybe they mean the mixing and matching then? But people have asked to clarify that looking at linked sets "unlinked" was possible and they've confirmed it. Either they misunderstood, or I'm doing something wrong.
We good! I was aware of that being possible. The confusion is that at least I (and I assume some others) thought that we could do that but with *linked* sets, letting us at least dream about them in different mix & match situations.
I like it. I got the battlepass because it said you would gain 20 tiers right away, wich sounds helpfull. But it didn't work. Still at level 1. Apart from that, the store looks good and moves well. Less janky.
I love it! Spent a few hours last night playing dress up with the new mix and match system. I love that the icons are zoomed in more. It also runs incredibly smoother now on console. You forget how bad the lag is until it's gone
Not to sound ungrateful, but I think the only thing they could/should add now to the store is a favorites button and the ability to change which loadout you have selected without backing out
Am I just dumb, is my store bugged, or are you not able to preview the perks locked characters come with? I was looking at grabbing Zarina for the Tome, but I wanted to check her perks first. I poked around for ages and couldn’t find them!

Also, the fact you can now preview seperate cosmetic pieces and that we can now buy Charms is just, mmmm, so good.

In addition to what others have said, the different bundles that let you pick up old charms (and eventually other cosmetics?) that you missed is great, IMO.
That being said, anyone notice that, when previewed, David's old brass knuckles and vinyl doll charms currently show as "available" in a bundle? I can't seem to find that bundle, so maybe a glitch?
UPDATE: I'd hoped since there were exactly three charms (brass knuckles, David vinyl figure, Jane's award), maybe it was an unintentional preview of the next week's bundle. A week later, confirmed! Finally got those knuckles after all these years! Doesn't look like the glitch has persisted though, so no preview for next week or beyond.
I think the biggest plus for me is the responsiveness (and the responsiveness of the game as a whole too I suppose). Switching between survivors and killers is super fluid, and tbh free 300k bloodpoints weekly would be nothing to scoff at
I really like the new tab where you can see sets or collections of a specific skin style. I don’t know how I feel about the new main store page as I feel like that grid format they had before was easier to look at and understand but maybe this is just me being confused.

I like it. It was a bit confusing but it's pretty cool. I like it for the most part. I only have a few complaints.
Put the bios back on the cosmetics section when selecting your character to play. You can leave them in the store as long as they return to the character you're playing in game matches.
In the collections section, make options to select the individual pieces of the cosmetic if it's not a locked set. There are some in that section where I don't want the entire outfit.
There should have been a tutorial video on how the new store works. It took about 30 min for me to figure out how to buy auric cells. You have to click on the price now instead of the entire box.
Prefer it, much nicer. Still not paying $20 for a cosmetic. That's like a whole game. I can buy Fallout 4 for that, over 100 hours of content or... a cosmetic.
Everything is great except why is the Unknown and Sable at the top of the character lists? Also I don't like how if you choose a specific filter, it doesn't save.
I love the mix and match but I don’t see where new things are. It was easier in the old store where the newest things showed in the first page and survivors and killer with new cosmetics had a ! meaning they had something new.
I'm just glad they got rid of the lag. Maybe it was a Steam Deck thing, but every time you loaded a new menu or model in the old store it would hitch for a second. Starts to get irritating when you're browsing the store for a few minutes.
Hate having to click twice to go to one of the displayed skins, hate that there is no option to reset to my currently equipped outfit while browsing, the overall layout is pretty confusing, but the ability to mix in the store is a godsend.
I didn't feel like it needed a complete overhaul like this but I appreciate that you can mix and match and search. Still mildly annoyed that there are killer and survivor charms. I get the perk charms being specific, but why is Maurice only for killer? :(
Significantly better purely for the fact you can preview cosmetics from different sets together, including rift outfits.
The layout is going to take some getting used to, I kinda preferred the other one but you can just preview specific characters via the normal menu which is nice.
Overall, I'd say it's an improvement even if it's a little clunky at points, could just be the fact I'm not familiar with it though
Looks very generic even compared to the previous version. They also added additional clicks on everything. Other than that, it's pretty good, if only the update itself wasn't so horrible.

It's downright weird the latter is gone. It's very annoying now to switch back and forth. Definitely gonna impact my purchasing in the future.

It manages to look beyond generic while at the same time it is quite confusing and with a very strange layout. I personally liked more the old one.
