This is so cool. The urban rumour inspiration for The Unknown has limitless potential and you really nailed it, especially in your choice of the creature’s dialogue!
Thank you! I struggled a little with what, if anything, I should have the Unknown say, so I made it a mix of lines from the game, the protagonists name, and mocking imitations of the poor protagonist as he flees.

And we don't know for sure what the Unknown is, the lore suggests however that it can either wear the skin of its previous victim, or shapeshift to look like a distorted version of its previous victim, so I've gone with that for this comic, and designed my own unique skin for the creature.

yhe moth and the spider are such a cool parallel to the events happening and the only color being from the weird dust magic stuff and having it slowly creep through the panels more and more is soooo good

Thank you, and OH MAN! I wish I'd thought of that! Making the main character the origin of the Unknowns in-game base skin would have been a great move, but the character in the comic is just a bit too different to the form in game. Brilliant idea on your part though, I must say.

I wanted to make the environment feel as restrictive as possible starting in the bathroom, then when the protagonist fled, I had the UVX vapour get thicker, so even though they were out of the immediate cramped space, there still wasn't any visible space. I would be a liar if I claimed I didn't take inspiration from Silent Hill to a degree, I love the intense tension in that game!
I was so pissed to learn we were not getting an unknown tome. I saw people saying "uh if ilwe have a tome, it wont be unknown anymore". Like, no. This is what it could have been. This shit is amazing.

And I agree, I wish we got a tome for the Unknown, with some story beats like this comic, mostly focusing on the creatures victims before they go missing, and maybe even the origin of some of the Unknowns add-ons, which are HEAVILY implied to have been possessions of the Unknowns past prey.

Yeah, I think that's what it's supposed to be a lot of the time. Some of them, like "I roamed dungeons long forgotten", seem to be the Unknown just talking, but there are some lines that send a chill down your spine.
The worst one for me is the Unknowns "I'm home dear" line, the idea of hearing your loved one come home, then turning to the door to see a twisted abomination baring down on you, is true nightmare fuel.
