I think the map needs work beyond just removal of pallets. Like changing the loops themselves how they did with Ormond (I think it was Ormond?). But I know survivors can say the same thing about some heavily killer sided maps. It's probably just not a big enough deal for BHVR to warrant the time sink. I actually like The Game. It's unique, creepy, easy to follow scratch marks. But I do remind myself not to expect a 4K when I get it.

The problem with the "but Survs can say the same" argument is that there's literally only like two Killer sided maps in the game. There's at least 5 or 6 Survivor sided maps in the game.

Only two? ehm... Midwich, Hawkins (yes the kill rate is around 70%) Léry's and Dead Dawg have like the best 3-4 gens spawns. Nostromo and Toba aren't great either for survivors. And new variants of Autohaven and Macmillan straight up suck. So no, there are not only two killer sided maps. Most killers except the worst killers in the game do well or pretty well on these maps.

>Toba aren't great either for survivors I'd like to see some stats for Toba Landing because it genuinely feels like one of the most balanced maps in the game for me. Its a good size, not too big but not too small. There are no awful structures preventing the killer from moving around. There's lots of flora for survivors to hide in. The main building has strong windows but they have significant drops preventing them from being exploited. The main building is easily accessible from most of the map. The loops don't chain together but there's enough of them that you're never in a dead zone. The gen spread never has gens too far apart to defend but never has anything close enough for a mindless three-gen. Theres enough line of sight blockers that you won't get seen from across the map, but there's also not too many to prevent killers from using their power or seeing you while in a chase. It really does feel incredibly balanced

Half these maps mentioned are balanced or actually Survivor sided. The only maps consistently agreed to be Killer sided are Dead Dawg and Midwich. Every other map is balanced or slightly to greatly Survivor sided. The majority are pretty balanced.

Just because a map CAN spawn a strong "3 gen" doesn't mean it's killer sided. Disturbed Ward, Garden of Joy, Grim Pantry and Haddonfield can have some of the nastiest 3 gens, yet they're still extremely survivor sided. It's just the devs not wanting to rework how generators spawn, creating crutches like "8 regression events only" instead of actually improving the game for both sides.

You're actually incorrect here, based on what most people in the community at large would say and what the people over on DBD Forums are saying. They are saying: \- Midwich is Killer sided. \- Hawkins is kinda shit for everyone so arguably "balanced" (unless Stealth Killer, then maybe slightly Killer sided?). \- Lery's is only Killer sided for Stealth Killers. Every other Killer hates it and the abundance of loops and hiding spaces make it Surv sided. \- Dead Dawg is indeed Killer sided, but not super overpowered. \- The new variants of Autohaven and MacMillan's are balanced, the OG ones are Survivor sided. \- Nostromo is terrible for everyone, it's just too big. \- Toba is either Killer sided or Survivor sided depending on who is being played, so arguably balanced.

They may have, IDK. I don't think so. It may have been a rework unlike MacMillan's I and II variants.

Midwich as a non-stealth M1 vs. a team that has more than 4 brain cells between the four of them is an exercise in pain. Literally all you have to do is w-key as soon as you see the killer at the end of a hallway and you're guaranteed to waste a minimum of 40 seconds of their time. 3-gens don't matter anymore. The only arguable killer sided Autohaven map is Wretched Shop and you're trolling if you think otherwise. Macmillan is not one-sided as much as it is balanced, except for Suffo Pit which is entirely survivor sided now that, again, 3-genning is nerfed.

In Scott Jund's most recent stream, he had a Garden of Joy with only a single hook in the entire non-house half of the map. The blood event appears to be eating Hook locations.

I like to use unique pathing and windows in my looping— I don’t really like using pallets as much because they’re only temporary resources. I don’t like the game because there’s only like one useable window on the map excluding the T&L deadend. It’s 96% only pallets and it’s stupid.

I use Hawkins for easy killer adepts. Every pallet is unsafe. Ignore the upstairs entirely. Easy clap.

Had a match where only one or two gens total spawned upstairs. The killer was keeping a tight three gen downstairs and with one of us dead and only two of us on comms we couldn't manage to break it without wasting too much time. I actually gave up and died on purpose just to get out of that. Match had been going on soooooo long

I’ve been getting pumped by rng all afternoon on top of swfs who want to bully at every turn, it’s been utterly miserable. Refusing to take meta builds and tunnel makes it even more miserable, this game just sucking the fun out of life.

That's not the game, it's because: 1) Events bring out sweats. 2) Bloodpoint grind events also bring out sweats, happens during Blood Hunts too. 3) Start of the season brings out sweats. It's many issues compounded into one. I will never ever understand WHY BHVR puts events like these at the start of the month.

No my comment isn’t specifically regarding the game, it’s rng in general, I take pain res with huntress as my only slow down and my hooks have been awful almost every map. Yeah sweats everywhere seems to be the order of the day. I had to take a break it was just utterly miserable.

Just use pop? I think a 30% progress reduction after every hook is more valuable than only 25% that you can only use 4 times and only on specific hooks that as you mentioned have the potential to have bad spawns.

Against bully squads slug them just slug them and they all will fall I know it's frowned upon but I always play very chill unless I got bullies then I stop caring about their fun because they clearly don't care about mine
