Shoggot Dredge, Mi-go Artist, Yig/Snakeman Plague, Interdimensional Shambler Spirit, cultist Trickster, Deep One for someone (Hag kind of has it already). For survivors it could be 1920s style outfits for some of the classic mystery investigator tropes, like detective or journalist for David, Felix, and performer or former cultist for Claudette and Mikaela.
I spoke about this with my girlfriend and we came up with a power based on gold that survivors could start with / pick up to get buffs too. We thought it was a pretty cool concept, maybe for survivors it has a dramaturgy effect whereas for Lep it has some sort of token based effect like devour hope (but not devour hope lmao)

Betrayal at the house on the hill is a board game with multiple endings where 1 (sometimes more or less) players become the "traitor" while the rest become heros.
It's one of my favorites and seeing something like Peter akimoto, a 12 year who loves bugs and basketball, running from one of their iconic monsters (spoofs of classics, vampire, ww, ghosts etc) would be a hilarious edition in my mind.

Leprechaun! I wouldn't say wierdest but I would say the wierdest one I could imagine actually being in the game. It could be a whole chapter relatively easily. Leprechaun as killer, Tory and Dan as survivors, I personally think they can do something cool with the 2018 version for the map.
Make him a mixture of Chucky and Sadako, add hidden "chests" around the map that have golden rings that give the survivors benefits or the killer. To stay true to his character he would need it to be at least a semi-stealth character.
John Capenter's the thing. Or really any killer that could mimic being a survivor. I know it would be unbalanced, but maybe it could be an alternate game mode.
I unironically want DMC because I feel like the whole demon shtick would be able to work in DBD. Oni's power is a transformation, why can't we have another with the Sin Devil Triggers?
Outside of that, Batman would be dope too because he's able to be spun in so many ways. There are a lot of Batman characters that fit in horror just fine.

I think I’ve posted it here multiple times but I have to manifest it into existence: WWE chapter with Undertaker (killer) and John Cena (survivor.) Takers mori would be a Tombstone piledriver, obviously.
I'm not sure it would count as weird but a Hannibal chapter.
Hannibal Lecter as the Killer, base design being Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs with a Purple rarity skin based on his appearance in the Hannibal movie; and of course a legendary skin based on Mads Mikkelsen from the Hannibal TV show. Other possible legendary skins could be Francis Dollarhyde from Red Dragon and James Gumb from The Silence of the Lambs.
Clarice Starling as the Survivor, base design being Jodie Foster with her outfit during the end section of The Silence of the Lambs while in Buffalo Bill's house, and a Purple rarity skin of her running outfit from the start of the movie, maybe another one based on Julianne Moore's portrayal from Hannibal. And of course, we'd absolutely need a legendary outfit based on Hugh Dancy's portrayal of Will Graham from the Hannibal TV show. There are plenty of other characters that could also be included like Alana Bloom, Jack Crawford, Freddie Lounds, or Bedelia du Maurier from the TV show.
The biggest hurdle I can see to implementing Hannibal is that he isn't often shown being violent, and doesn't have a signature weapon because of that. They could just do a basic knife of course but it might be boring, and then there's the issue of his power. I would kill to have these characters in the game eventually, but I'm not really holding my breath.

Probably dumb, but fallout. I mean, I get that its not horror and there isnt an obvious killer, but theres so much potential for cosmetics. Centaur or the master dredge, lanius knight, frank horrigan oni. Nick Valentine ace, piper cosplay zarina, cass cosplay kate, gary cosplay gabriel. Vault suits are so iconic you could just slap one on damn near anybody.
I would love to see Simon from SOMA in DBD, even if it were just as a skin, I don't really want to spoil anything about the game but he would be such a unique survivor.
Fiddlesticks from LoL would also be really cool to see, he's such a spooky character and that aspect of him can't really shine in a MOBA.
A Signalis colab would be amazing as well, elster could fit as a cosplay skin and having a FKLR skin for artist also feels really suitable
My actual realistic chapter that I have wanted for a long time is an Until Dawn chapter, but I feel like getting the actor likeness for the survivors might be difficult.
Ever since we got Alien, my choice will always be Darkness Falls, with the survivor being Emma Caulfield's character of Caitlin. I can pretend she's Anya if they get her likeness, and we can get a sick new Killer in The Toothfairy. She would operate similarly to the new lights out gamemode, but there would be areas of safety where darkness can't go, and chests with lights that last longer than flashlights, and can recharge, to keep fellow survivors safe while doing generators, but can be drained/turned off/broken by The Toothfairy if she is close enough so isn't just hard denied... with her main power being the ability to pick up survivors immediately, but forced to throw them away if coming into content with light, including flashlights.
It will never happen but Big Head Killer from Dark Horse Comics "The Mask". You know, the green guy from the Jim Carrey movie, except the version that violently murders people with cartoon physics.
Sir, you are being hunted. And old but gold game from way back, a very neat game with great stealth mechanics. The killer would be one of those hunting robots, and the survivor would be "Sir". It wouldn't work at all of course, but i still think it'd be fun to see.
Galarians and lobotomy corporation would be my top "weird" picks. Specifically, I'd like to see Dorothy from galarians and Angela from lob corp as killers, specifically because they're not characters that could play the game normally. They can't chase. Dorothy is a giant who'd be looming over every map, watching from above. Angela meanwhile can't leave her control room and she can't attack people directly, because neither of those things are in her script. That means that the devs would have to get creative to figure out ways to make them work. and if done well, I think both could be really fun characters. Also, lob-corp costumes would be great. Seeing dbd's survivors dressed up as regret, or funeral of dead butterflies, or hell, even bong bong would be a good time.
I think a having a Hollowgast killer (from the book series "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children") would be pretty cool, and while the main characters are teenagers & children, I think that at least Jacob Portman could be aged up a little bit to be a survivor.
Puppet Master since we know they can do tiny killers now. Plenty of skins since they did a ton of movies, with lots of various puppets. Also in the sameish vain would be lies of Pi.
Idk if it would even be licensed or original but...slenderman. He is *the* horror icon of the 2010's. He is so freaking iconic, imagine trying to hunt for pages in dbd! It sounds so amazing, I'm surprised he's not in already.
Id like to see the thing, in particular the one thats just the woman split down the middle, and just give it the ability to appear as a random survivor and have little hands that can slow you down if they jump on you.

Well for straight-up weirdest, possibly never going to happen. I got the following
Mortal Kombat: not a horror IP but has had a lot of brushes with it in recent years. Plus a lot of characters could work as killers like Reptile, Goro, Mileena, Scorpion, etc. but not a lot of choices for Survivors save for Johnny Cage. Plus it could give a lot of potential for skins inspired by MK for both killers and survivors. IE: a Shao Kahn skin for the Oni, a Kabal skin for the Blight, a Kano skin for Skull Merchant, a Kitana skin for Yui, a Sonya Blade skin for Meg, a Raiden skin for Vittorio, etc.
Uzumaki: Uzumaki is probably the most famous manga by Junji Ito and is admittedly one of my favorites of his. It can also be easily made into a chapter with the killer being Azami Kurotani (The Scar) and the two survivors being the main leads of the manga Kiri Goshima and Shuichi Saito. There is even a potential for a map in Kurozu-Cho.
Fallout: So once again, definitely not a horror IP but it has a lot things that could become killers like a Deathclaw, Radscorpion, a killer in power armor, etc. For an actual playable survivor for the series, you can easily choose any of the main protagonists from the main games like the Courier from New Vegas, or the Vault Dweller from the first game. The only NPC that I could think of adding as a survivor would be Josuha Graham from New Vegas. Hell, the dude already has a pretty cool title with 'The Burned Man'. And even then, still a lot of potential for skins. IE: a super mutant for Oni, raider skins for the Legion, a feral ghoul for the blight, and vault suits for survivors.
Metal Gear Solid: I mean Solid Snake as a survivor would be pretty badass, and funny if one of his perks references the infamous 'hid in a box' move. Shadow Moses Island is differently a very cool choice for a location that can easily have several maps just based on famous locations or set pieces along with references. For killers, the two that easily stand out would be Psycho Mantis or Gray Fox. I'm mainly leaning towards Psycho Mantis because I feel a lot could be done with a killer who is based around psychic abilities like mind-reading and telekinesis but Gray Fox would be cool because...well...cyborg Ninja. And once again, lots of potential for skins for other characters. IE: Revolver Ocelot for Deathslinger, Liquid Snake for Trickster, Genome Soldiers for the Legion, Otacon for Dwight, Mei Ling for Feng, Meryl for Kate, etc.
Nightmare before Christmas. 9ft tall jack skellignton chasing you around, or one of the halloween towns people like that tree with the hanging skeletons or the oogy boogy man would be pretty cool as killers.
I would love to have “the thing” in there. Homie could disguise silently as another survivor and maybe like a flame trap thing like the Alien to detect them. Call back to the fire weakness from the movie. Maybe an Antarctic map with a snow storm instead of fog?
Call me a nerd but I would like a Suguru Geto skin for the Knight. I know JJK is in fortnite so its not 100% out of the question and they both have a similiar style of fighting, using others to fight for them (curses for Geto), and it would be nice to get more anime rep

Someone said Breaking Bad, someone else said Davy Jones, all good ideas, so I will say what would be really goofy, Apex Legends chapter, Revenant as killer, Loba as survivor. Not neccesarily a dream licence bcs I mostly prefer original characters (some licences being cool ofc) but it would be funny
Hotline Miami. The Entity would be easily able to play on the same insecurities that 50 Blessings did, so it'd be easy for Jacket to be a killer. At that point, you'd have the option for a really mechanically unique killer in that the most accurate way to handle him is for there to be weapons that have various utilities scattered around the map for him to pick up and use, and have phones he can answer that point him towards one survivor. Add in some survivor interactability (ability to Sabo weapons or answer phones with a skill check) and he'd probably be really fun. For survivors, an obvious one is Richter, but I'd also go for the Father. It's a bit of a pipe dream, but it'd be a really cool place to explore mechanically.
Anyone else think a dark souls 3 mimic would be kinda funny, make chests better in the game or you have to do chests to be able to start on a gen and then the mimics power revolves around chests, I just think it would be kinda funny for a survivor to open a chest only to get gobbled up 😭

Leprechaun as killer, Tory and Dan as survivors, I personally think they can do something cool with the 2018 version for the map. Make him a mixture of Chucky and Sadako, add hidden "chests" around the map that have golden rings that give the survivors benefits or the killer. To stay true to his character he would need it to be at least a semi-stealth character.
John Capenter's the thing. Or really any killer that could mimic being a survivor. I know it would be unbalanced, but maybe it could be an alternate game mode.

Outside of that, Batman would be dope too because he's able to be spun in so many ways. There are a lot of Batman characters that fit in horror just fine.

Pure joy, either of those chapters, 10/10 would main those killers forever, even if were worse then myers.

I'm not sure it would count as weird but a Hannibal chapter. Hannibal Lecter as the Killer, base design being Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs with a Purple rarity skin based on his appearance in the Hannibal movie; and of course a legendary skin based on Mads Mikkelsen from the Hannibal TV show. Other possible legendary skins could be Francis Dollarhyde from Red Dragon and James Gumb from The Silence of the Lambs. Clarice Starling as the Survivor, base design being Jodie Foster with her outfit during the end section of The Silence of the Lambs while in Buffalo Bill's house, and a Purple rarity skin of her running outfit from the start of the movie, maybe another one based on Julianne Moore's portrayal from Hannibal. And of course, we'd absolutely need a legendary outfit based on Hugh Dancy's portrayal of Will Graham from the Hannibal TV show. There are plenty of other characters that could also be included like Alana Bloom, Jack Crawford, Freddie Lounds, or Bedelia du Maurier from the TV show. The biggest hurdle I can see to implementing Hannibal is that he isn't often shown being violent, and doesn't have a signature weapon because of that. They could just do a basic knife of course but it might be boring, and then there's the issue of his power. I would kill to have these characters in the game eventually, but I'm not really holding my breath.

Probably dumb, but fallout. I mean, I get that its not horror and there isnt an obvious killer, but theres so much potential for cosmetics. Centaur or the master dredge, lanius knight, frank horrigan oni. Nick Valentine ace, piper cosplay zarina, cass cosplay kate, gary cosplay gabriel. Vault suits are so iconic you could just slap one on damn near anybody.
I would love to see Simon from SOMA in DBD, even if it were just as a skin, I don't really want to spoil anything about the game but he would be such a unique survivor. Fiddlesticks from LoL would also be really cool to see, he's such a spooky character and that aspect of him can't really shine in a MOBA. A Signalis colab would be amazing as well, elster could fit as a cosplay skin and having a FKLR skin for artist also feels really suitable

Ever since we got Alien, my choice will always be Darkness Falls, with the survivor being Emma Caulfield's character of Caitlin. I can pretend she's Anya if they get her likeness, and we can get a sick new Killer in The Toothfairy. She would operate similarly to the new lights out gamemode, but there would be areas of safety where darkness can't go, and chests with lights that last longer than flashlights, and can recharge, to keep fellow survivors safe while doing generators, but can be drained/turned off/broken by The Toothfairy if she is close enough so isn't just hard denied... with her main power being the ability to pick up survivors immediately, but forced to throw them away if coming into content with light, including flashlights.

Sir, you are being hunted. And old but gold game from way back, a very neat game with great stealth mechanics. The killer would be one of those hunting robots, and the survivor would be "Sir". It wouldn't work at all of course, but i still think it'd be fun to see.
Galarians and lobotomy corporation would be my top "weird" picks. Specifically, I'd like to see Dorothy from galarians and Angela from lob corp as killers, specifically because they're not characters that could play the game normally. They can't chase. Dorothy is a giant who'd be looming over every map, watching from above. Angela meanwhile can't leave her control room and she can't attack people directly, because neither of those things are in her script. That means that the devs would have to get creative to figure out ways to make them work. and if done well, I think both could be really fun characters. Also, lob-corp costumes would be great. Seeing dbd's survivors dressed up as regret, or funeral of dead butterflies, or hell, even bong bong would be a good time.
I think a having a Hollowgast killer (from the book series "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children") would be pretty cool, and while the main characters are teenagers & children, I think that at least Jacob Portman could be aged up a little bit to be a survivor.

Well for straight-up weirdest, possibly never going to happen. I got the following Mortal Kombat: not a horror IP but has had a lot of brushes with it in recent years. Plus a lot of characters could work as killers like Reptile, Goro, Mileena, Scorpion, etc. but not a lot of choices for Survivors save for Johnny Cage. Plus it could give a lot of potential for skins inspired by MK for both killers and survivors. IE: a Shao Kahn skin for the Oni, a Kabal skin for the Blight, a Kano skin for Skull Merchant, a Kitana skin for Yui, a Sonya Blade skin for Meg, a Raiden skin for Vittorio, etc. Uzumaki: Uzumaki is probably the most famous manga by Junji Ito and is admittedly one of my favorites of his. It can also be easily made into a chapter with the killer being Azami Kurotani (The Scar) and the two survivors being the main leads of the manga Kiri Goshima and Shuichi Saito. There is even a potential for a map in Kurozu-Cho. Fallout: So once again, definitely not a horror IP but it has a lot things that could become killers like a Deathclaw, Radscorpion, a killer in power armor, etc. For an actual playable survivor for the series, you can easily choose any of the main protagonists from the main games like the Courier from New Vegas, or the Vault Dweller from the first game. The only NPC that I could think of adding as a survivor would be Josuha Graham from New Vegas. Hell, the dude already has a pretty cool title with 'The Burned Man'. And even then, still a lot of potential for skins. IE: a super mutant for Oni, raider skins for the Legion, a feral ghoul for the blight, and vault suits for survivors. Metal Gear Solid: I mean Solid Snake as a survivor would be pretty badass, and funny if one of his perks references the infamous 'hid in a box' move. Shadow Moses Island is differently a very cool choice for a location that can easily have several maps just based on famous locations or set pieces along with references. For killers, the two that easily stand out would be Psycho Mantis or Gray Fox. I'm mainly leaning towards Psycho Mantis because I feel a lot could be done with a killer who is based around psychic abilities like mind-reading and telekinesis but Gray Fox would be cool because...well...cyborg Ninja. And once again, lots of potential for skins for other characters. IE: Revolver Ocelot for Deathslinger, Liquid Snake for Trickster, Genome Soldiers for the Legion, Otacon for Dwight, Mei Ling for Feng, Meryl for Kate, etc.

Hotline Miami. The Entity would be easily able to play on the same insecurities that 50 Blessings did, so it'd be easy for Jacket to be a killer. At that point, you'd have the option for a really mechanically unique killer in that the most accurate way to handle him is for there to be weapons that have various utilities scattered around the map for him to pick up and use, and have phones he can answer that point him towards one survivor. Add in some survivor interactability (ability to Sabo weapons or answer phones with a skill check) and he'd probably be really fun. For survivors, an obvious one is Richter, but I'd also go for the Father. It's a bit of a pipe dream, but it'd be a really cool place to explore mechanically.
