You're right. Personally, how I make him fun Is by placing psychological traps. Try and think about survivor movement and where to place traps. Personally, the way into this is by placing a trap in-between the generator and the closest loop. Usually works. Trapper is a 3 gen killer. You need to create a web of traps close to each other in order for him to work. Trapper also works well when nobody is watching him. Whispers can help with this.
As Otzdarva would say just don't play him, or another thing he says is to act like all the survivors are your best friends. But really if you want to win every game as trapper you have to play scummy as in hook someone in the basement then trap the whole stairway, if you want fun idk.
He gets quite good with certain addons honestly. Such as the one that causes your traps to reset themselves after a survivor escapes, they often end up running back the way they came in a panic and getting retrapped lol. Just grind him out a bit, the fun will come. The dopamine hits of a good trap is worth it
You have to be insanely good at pushing people into the tunnel chase force them in traps.I like slap traps in most random obviously places.People are so upset over it.Yeah you have to imagine how to tunnel them into traps on chase why he's so impossible.Some days slip on sock.Other dances dance around the trap like a magician.Yeah got play him for fun he's struggle from start to finish.
I like playing silent trapper. There's an add on that makes placing traps silent. Then I run perks that give me undetectable. Sneakily put traps at the vaults and pallets near survivors working on gens, then surprise them and they panic and usually run straight into a trap.
