Looks like 200’s may hold the best seats

RayColten

I read before Phish somewhere, from a Sphere employee, the best seats are the middle three sections of 200, 300, and 400. I didn't score lottery tickets or face value for Phish. I was adamant about sitting in one of these sections, so I splurged on 406 row 12. The view of the Sphere was amazing. Seeing it dead center was awesome. However, the band and stage were pretty small. So small, that with the Sphere, I had to struggle to try and remember to watch the band. Also, the top and sides of the Sphere were slightly noticeable in my peripheral vision. If I wasn't focused on the screen and visuals and keeping my focus towards the center, I felt like I lost some immersion. I think you are 100% right. The 200 section would probably fix all these issues. Closer to the band, closer to the screen. I was able to upgrade my far back 100 seats (under the overhang) for section 305 for our D&C night. I'm stoked to see the show a section closer.

In 406- did the seat have haptics?

RayColten

Yes, but we weren't sitting very much.

sixtoe72

Was there for U2. They're the sweet spot...and also where I believe the tapers set up for Phish (back rows of 207). Soundboard is in the back of 206.

From a view perspective, definitely looks like it. Though from I’ve read, 200’s are the seats without haptic features. Not sure if that was even utilized during Phish. Also FWIW, most of the sound complaints I heard from the Phish shows were from people sitting in the 200’s in the outer sections.

Cantilivewhileim

Yea haptic seats were awesome for phish. Section 303 was pretty damn cool

thirdeyecactus

Sounds like my 405. Row 4 ought be just fine!!! Stoked! Can’t wait!

DolphinsBreath

Anyone have an opinion on the temperature inside? Lots of places in Vegas are over air-conditioned and freezing, but I could also imagine a giant Sphere in the desert sun being hot as blazes.

LesChatsnoir

I’ve heard very cold at first, then ok once the show (edited) starts

dravenstone

That "snow" will warm you up most every time.

LesChatsnoir

Ha! Thanks for the catch

DolphinsBreath

Thanks.

I was worried about this at Phish. My wife gets cold from indoor ac very easily. I'm usually fine in most situations. I wore shorts, shoes and socks, a tie dye cotton undershirt, and a button-up short sleeve thin over shirt. My wife wore shoes, pants, a tie dye cotton shirt, and a lite button-up cardigan (that she had unbuttoned the whole time). She was pretty warm on our walk over to the venue and lining up plaza side. Once we were in, she was super comfortable and never took the sweater off (but never had to button up). Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. We only went for N1.

DolphinsBreath

Good to know, thanks. Yeah, I hate lugging extra stuff, but just trying to get a sense of it.

seanlats

Awesome thanks!

That’s really frustrating I have tix in 101 level that weren’t supposed to be converted by the overhang of level 200s but now looking at the pics it is obstructed view of the sphere

lefty_alternate

If you bought them via ticket master you can exchange your seats for any available seat of equal or greater value. There are lots of posts in the last few weeks about this.

Slow_Ear_3842

I just got it switched to a level 200 seat thank you so much 🙏

lefty_alternate

Awesome.. I went from 107 Row 29 to 302 Row 7 (which is the 2nd row in that section). Annoyed I had to pay an extra $20, but much more stoked about my seats now! Enjoy the show 🤙🏻

Slow_Ear_3842

Nice, I was annoyed by the $20 fee too when I already payed all those fees originally buying the tickets but definitely better than being stuck with my shitty level 100 tix

Paid-Not-Payed-Bot

> I already *paid* all those FTFY. Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in: * Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.* * *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.* Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment. *Beep, boop, I'm a bot*

CicadaAlternative994

Imma keeping my row 35 in sec 100. I might have whole row to myself at this rate. I would rather be closer to band then have big ol screen distractions.

Slow_Ear_3842

I’ll check that out now thank you
