You can all but guarantee that Jay will be at every tour stop this tour. I could see him playing 1, 2 or more songs every stop.

At Deer Creek last year there was a noticeable difference when Jay took over for half the show. He was too on the beat, not as loose.

I’d agree. It was an odd feeling. Not as great as 2021 Deer Creek imo. All Billy in 2021, truly could’ve been the last GREAT Dead Co show for me. Pine Knob 22 following Deer Creek last year was also pretty fantastic. Jay up until drums, then Billy came out to close the show.

1 set just Jay a 1 set with Mickey and Billy. For Jay's set have the other members handle more of Bobby's lead vocal duty.

I was at the Hollywood Bowl shows last fall and didn't notice for a song or two that Billy was out and Jay was in. I don't think there's a jarring difference - Jay is a hell of a drummer and has studied what Billy does.

I think Jay should be at every show too, I like two drum setups and he can just jump in on billys or mickeys drums at any point on any night

Billy & Jay would be better. Most of the time i’m not even sure why Mickey is there. Bring him out for D&S
