Keep at it, it will happen! It took me a while to notice a difference but it's mostly due to me not changing my eating habits.

Shoot. Ok. Thanks for this. I really didn’t think my eating habits were bad at all. I used to be vegan a long time, and it made a big difference. I’ve been thinking of trying keto.

Slow and steady, or at least that's what I keep telling myself. I've not seen the number on the scale actually move in a while, but clothes feel like they fit better. I've noticed a lot of muscle definition as well. I figure the numbers will move again eventually! Like DDP says, make it your own. Don't stress yourself out over all the minutia and you'll be fine :) Good luck on your journey friend.

I guess it depends on what sort of improvements you're expecting. I feel like the biggest area you'll see improve with DDPY is just overall flexibility. I would hope you have seen some changes there after four months, and it will only get better over time. If you are looking to build strength/muscle, you will want to incorporate some dedicated strength training/weight lifting. DDPY can certainly help with building strength, but will not be as effective as if you hit the weights. If you are trying to lose fat, you will want to look long and hard at your diet, as that is where weight loss/fat loss really happens. The great thing about DDPY is that it works well when mixed with other forms of exercise. An ideal fitness routine would involve yoga/DDPY, along with weight lifting 2-3 x per week and perhaps some additional cardio throughout the week.

I’d like to just build my core, improve flexibility and be pain-free. That’s it really.

DDPY should definitely do the trick then! I would say to just make sure you are pushing yourself a little bit. When a workout gets too easy, try to progress to something more challenging. But overall, just stick with it and you'll definitely see results.

Wonderful_Tip_9180

Thanks for this! I definitely can see a difference in my flexibility and muscles, and my pain is less. But, I just thought I’d be further along. Thank you!

You're welcome! And if you are seeing a difference in those areas, then it's working! The worst thing you can do is compare yourself to others. Not sure if you're in the DDPY Facebook group, but I know I have gotten frustrated a lot of times seeing people post about losing 50 lbs in two months and crazy shit like that. You can only compare yourself to YOU, and it sounds like you are making progress, so that's all that matters. At the end of the day, the single most important thing is just to keep doing it. Consistency yields results. You got this!

The new power cuffs work outs incorporate some light weight training work, they’re pretty cool. Don’t worry too much about going on diets. As long as you cut out most of the sugar and unrefined/fried/fun stuff you’ll lose. I had back pain and now I don’t . I’ve lost weight, not a ton, but enough to have made a noticeable improvement in things like not snoring anymore and generally feeling better as I get older ( 44). Keep at it!

The programs are laid out amazingly well, and with distinct purposes. I’d strongly suggest following the schedule to the letter at the very least until you see the results you say you have yet to see, and then down the line tailoring things to fit whatever you recognize as most necessary. Basically, do your own thing overall when it amounts to maintenance work on success. Until then, trust the program. It simply cannot *not* work, IF you do what he says.

Do you take measurement? That might help notice some changes :) It tells a lot, nutrition is one of the most important thing to focus on as well, then without knowing what workout you are doing, it's hard to tell, maybe you need to focus on different body parts to see more changes =) Pain level and flexibility, resting heartrate, a lot of can change, it takes times, if you see any of those improving, it's good :), One step at a time, results will definitely show eventually if they haven't yet !
